Talk about frustrating - I bought the xoom on black friday - at the great price of $199.
Problem is the sales rep at time of purchase, said I would get NFL games televised live - same as on their cell phones.
After not be able to connect to the NFL Red Zone Sunday I contacted Verizon customer service. They tried to get me to sign up for Direct TV - very strange. Finally telling me to go back to the Verizon store I made the purchase at.
So Monday after vwork that is where I went. The rep still thought I should get NFL Mobile for live TV coverage only to find out he was wrong.
What sense does it make that you can access live nfl games on Verizon cell phones, but not through their serviced 4G tablets.

I need to download NVivo 10 for my studies. The MAC version at present does not have all the funstionalities that the PC version has. Does anyone know when the MAC version will be fully functional to match PC version? I am probably in the wrong section for this question so if you know where it would sit best let me know?

I was wondering if anyone know when iOS 5 will be available. I watched the video about it and now i'm just soo impatient! On the website they say it will be available this spring (i am in Australia) but i wanna know more!

I attended IOUG and an Oracle rep said that release 2 should be released in a couple of days. That was a week and half ago. Does anyone have a better idea. I really want to impliment Portal release 2.0 because it finally has the features I need. My boss wants me to start working on the installation but I don't want to do it if release 2 will really be out in a couple of days. Also where is the best place to look for it, will it be on metalink first or will it be on OTN? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I agree with Heidi Luyten... but i also believe that this time is the time! There are several symptoms and information converging to the WEEK "somehow" in may :)
I think oracle as leverage expectactions from theirs users to a point that even oracle cannot commit to a specific time, and are always rollbacking :) release dates!
By the way, i hope that this time portal and all other products from 9ias dont come buggy like Apps 11i came when where released. My opinion is that the new emerging techs from oracle are not reliable until users brake their brains in working like beta testers, and this not good for oracle...
For instance, portal is patched almost every weeks, some patches bring some new buggs, and this is extremely annoying!
I can give you an example, i've describe in wireless forum a problem when trying to user 9ias wireless option, and no one could help me... i've followed instructios that came on A86701 doc, and even that did not help me! resuming... i did not put wireless to work!
So, i hope this time is the time and clean time!

Does anyone know when 3.1 will be released?

I know the beta version is out there and I'm hoping 3.1 will solve my issues with short battery life, intermittent loss of signal in areas I had no trouble with prior to 3.1 as well as a random "Restore Needed" error message that pops up about once every other day or so. Very frustrating and I am thinking of going to my companies Black Berry plan. The offer black berrys for free, but have stuck with my iphone and was extremely happy with it until 3.0. I love 3.0 features, but it's not worth the frustration of lost signal or constantly needing to reboot or restore the phone.

Does anyone know when Verizon will offer 5.0 for the 8330?

I'd really like to get away from 4.5. I have 4.7 on my company BB (T-Mobile 8900) and like it much better, but from reading about 5.0 I think I will like it even better yet. Unfortunately 4.5 is the only OS listed on Verizon's page for the 8330. Does anyone know when they will release 5.0? From everything I've read they are going to, but I'd like to know if I should expect a 6 week wait or a 2 year wait...

Coolness. BTW -- there will be little (if any) publication about when RIM goes "official" for what you are seeking. Rather, what you will see is that some carrier releases the version you seek...VZW will do what they do in their own sweet time.

At the top, one of the stickies is a thread that Xandrex keeps updated with current versions of device OS's from each carrier (that he has information on, of course). I haven't waded through that thread (it's pretty long), but he might have a table for your model, which would guide you to where various carriers stand with release levels.
If you find that a carrier has sanctioned a device OS you want, you can usually get it from them via their DL site via this portal:

Then you can use these instructions to use it (don't mind that the instructions are for the Storm -- the process is the same I think):
