Does anyone know who can I call to query my usage?

This morning I had 8G+ left, I have done nothing different but it is now over 40G,
I did notice my speed slow right down this evening, I test and it had fallen from 32/34 Mbps to 7 and my upload speed had gone down to 2 ish).  I restarted my router and after a lot of trouble getting back on to the Internet my speed was back up to normal.
And before you ask, I only had my main PC on, as confirmed by the home hub manager and I did very little downloading to day and my firewall and AV is up to date.
With the speeds being so high I can't afford to suddenly lose another 7+ Gig for no reason and with nothing I can do to stop it - except maybe turn of the router but I was advised by the engineer who installed not to do that for prolonged periods.

Hi,  same problem here.  I have been with BT for many, many years and never exceeded my 40GB allowance. Had a call in November from Customer services saying they were doing a review of my bill and could save me money as i was on an old tarriff. Great. No need to change anything as my average broadband use over previous bills was between 20 and 25GB.
Come december we get an email warning saying we are nearing our usage, strange, but didn't think too much about it and had so much going on with Xmas approaching that I didn't really look into it. Then again this month we recieve another warning telling us that we are nearing our limit. I checked the online monitor on Sunday night, just over 32 GB. Just checked again this morning and i have 0.5GB left. This means that i have used over 7GB in 24 hours DESPITE turning all wireless connections off and NOT using the home PC from sunday morning until the present time.
If find it pretty hard to believe i used 7GB doing nothing.  I also find it hard to believe that having NEVER gone over my usage in nearly 15+ years of being with BT that I have suddenly done it twice in two months since the advisor phoned and offered me a new deal in November. Nothing has changed in the household since November, not a single device added, If anything, as my son has been studying for his mock A levels, the internet usage has dropped as he is not on Xbox live or laptop as often.
having done some digging around the net today I was shocked by the number of people who have suddenly found they are going over their usage allowance just after swapping deals or moving from another provider. 
I would be grateful for any hints or pointers on how this has happened and what to do next

    You are running 10.6.8? If yes, I assume you have your install disks? As the trash bin is part of Mail app and that is an integral part of the OS, the only way I know to get it back is to reinstall the OS. You won't lose any files, just reinstall the OS over the top of the current system.

    Have you tried submitting feedback from within Logic? There is a direct email link named Provide Logic Express Feedback within the Logic Express item on the Menu bar.
    Some people have reported being contacted by Apple development staff after using this process.

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
    Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts   Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

    No, neither are supported for Raw on 10.5.8
    You'll need 10.6.8 minimum for the D5100

    In general -
    - if you've not yet talked to Apple's Tech Support, do so. If you purchased AppleCare with the machine, be sure to mention that.
    - if you've been talking to Apple's Tech Support and not got resolution, give them one more try but ask to speak to a Level 2 person or a supervisor. If you got a job/ticket number at some point, refer to that on your call. If you got a case number while the machine was still under warranty, the case is still open - and, as I recall, repair should still be made under warranty.
    - if you've already done that, talk to Customer Service, explain the situation, firmly ask for resolution: repair or replacement.
    If there's an Apple Store near you, you can call them to set up an appointment to take your machine in. Again, if you have AppleCare be sure to mention that.
    You probably already know this, but...
    Being firm but polite works a lot better than being demanding and rude.
    You may feel like screaming at them out of frustration; please don't do it. Remember - they, the folk you talk to, didn't do whatever went wrong with the machine. Do what you need to do in order to get them to do what you want them to do.

    I'm using Acrobat 9 Standard and when I click on Create and select PDF from Scanner it always scans the page twice and then I have to manually delete the second page. It's kind of a pain because it takes twice as long, and when I have several pages it's really annoying. Does anyone know how I can change this so that it only scans each page once instead of twice?

    I am using a CanoScan N1220U, and I believe it's a TWAIN driver.
    I haven't had any luck using another application because they will only scan an item as a jpeg and for this project I need .pdf files. The applications I tried were Roxio Creator 2009 and Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0. The only solution I've found so far is to stop the second part of the scan so I only get the one page.
    I hope this info helps you come up with some kind of answer for me. I really appreciate your help with this!

    You don't need any other software to get files off an ipod.

    Follow those instructions and you should be ok. When you connect to the PC make sure you don't sync with itunes or it will wipe the ipod clean, just put it in disk mode and then follow those steps.
