Does anyone know why my macbook pro doesn't use sound output anymore?

Hi, I have a Macbook Pro w/ Mountain Lion (10.8.2) and I don't know why or how, but the sound just stopped working. I can use headphones or my bluetooth speaker, but the speaker coming out of the keyboard doesn't sound anymore. Anyone else have the same problem or know the solution? Any advice is good. Thank you.

Hopefully one of these steps should solve the problem.
System Preference > Sound > Output > Internal Speakers
Make sure Mute is not enabled.
If you see red light in the headphone port, plug the headphone
in and out of the port 5 or 6 times to flip the microswitch inside.
Sound output may be stuck in the digital mode.
Reset PRAM.  http://support.apple.com/kb/PH4405
Reset SMC.     http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964
Choose the method for:
"Resetting SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own".
Best.

We are using f4vpp tool to post-process F4V files recorded with FMLE and also on F4F files recorded server-side. And we noticed that in both cases files grow double in size after the processing than the original. Is this normal? And why?
