Hey it's your board, you bought and paid for it so you can do whatever you like to it...chances of it working after flashing another mfg's BIOS to it are slim and none tho so it's up to you entirely to make that choice...
Go to nForcersHQ and there are some modded BIOS's there in the forums that you may want to try...there's alot of good ppl there that have lots of info about nForce2 chipsets...
Just remember if your board ends up dead from a non approved BIOS flash then you void any MSI warranty on that board and they don't have to replace it for you....that's not to say they won't, just that they don't have to...
Why is it that you're wanting to go above 1.8v anyway? You trying to burn up your processor faster than it's life expectancy? Upping the voltage on any processor definitely shortens it's life span and usually leads to the system just shutting down one day and it's done...I'm not real sure why you guys always want to do things like this to your components...they aren't rated to have them done that way but yet alot of ppl do it and then badmouth whatever company the component is from because they think the part is at fault...boggles my mind entirely...

Does anyone know about a VI for the NI USB-9211 thermocouple DAQ?

I just bought a USB-9211 from NI. It works fine if I run the VI, executable, that comes with it. However, I would like to change the LabVIEW code to play with the temperature data that I am collecting, but since the CD came with executables only, I can't access the code. I have never collected data from a USB-port before, so I guess if I had a code that would allow me to collect the data coming into the USB port, that would help me a lot. Does anyone know of a code I can use?

Hello jc,
If you click on the following link, it should take you to some example code written for the USB-9211. In the zip file there should be a VI as well as an executable. I'm assuming that the executable is the same one that you have seen. However, the VI should show you how to use the DAQmx Base driver to do thermocouple measurements with the USB-9211.

HT3642 Does anyone know of an app for the Kindle Fire that will allow me to access my movies from my iTune account?

I just purchased a Kindle Fire HD 8.9. I would like to be able to access my iTunes account to play my movies that I have purchased. Does anyone know if it is possible to do this and if so how? If not is there a way to download the movies to my computer so I could transfer them via USB?

Since the documents are on the server and not your work computer it doesn't matter that your work computer is off.
Usually computers on a work network are firewalled from the internet. Without knowing the details of your network it is impossible to know wether it is possible. Perhaps you should speak to the IT person at your work.
If it is possible you will probably need an app that can access the documents on the server using a compatible protocol. I am not aware of an app that handles standard Windows file sharing. Goodreader can do ftp and webDAV. You may require something like webDAV enabled on the server.

We changed it when we went to another location, and can't get it back. Telus support can't fix it. Neither smtp.telus.net NOR mail.telus.net works for Outgoing server to send mail. Please help! Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

You cannot merge Apple IDs but you can go to Settings > iCloud and 'Delete Account'. When prompted to turn off documents and data, choose the only option which is Delete from my iPhone, but on the other prompt for Contacts, Calendars, etc you can choose 'Keep on my iPhone' Then once the Account is Deleted form the iPhone, log back in with the correct Apple ID and choose Merge when prompted. This will merge your data from this iPhone with that iCloud account effectively putting your devices on the same account.

I can click into any other text window and edit and change attributes but I am locked out of editing text when it comes to the spine of the book. I spoke to Blurb support and they referred me to Adobe. I spent 45 minutes with support here - no one knew. I am still waiting for a call back with an answer... not holding my breath as it's been a few hours now. HELP!!!

I have experienced all the fiddly aspects you mentioned - these are attributes and although changing them requires the skill of a surgeon's hand - it's the actual editing of the text I can't seem to access anymore. The box just won't allow me to do anything except change attributes. Does that make sense? And it's only on the spine where I am having this issue. Puzzled! I have even rebooted the program and just now the computer - to no avail.

Pop up usually meant that icloud activation lock is still on on Apple servers. In order to deactivate you need to turn icloud back on by signing in and then sign out properly. For your sake I hope that you know the password.

Does anyone know why or what is the reason when starting a new iMac with Lion, sometimes a gray bar appears under the Apple that begins to shade to dark as it loads OS? It does this on occasion. One time the system loaded was VERY slow and terrible colors. Pulled the plug, re-started the computer and it did not do this. As I say, its only on occasion, not every time. I noticed in the discussion page there were problems listed for 10.6 nothing for Lion.
Please advise, if possible.

You should see this 4 option menu. Click on Disk Utility:
In Disk Utility, Select FIRST AID and then VERIFY and then REPAIR the disk.

I essentially do what Ellis recommends, although I usually use a somewhat different method:
Draw two circles
Copy and paste in place
Select the topmost circles
Use Object -> Pathfinder -> Intersect, which creates the green object in Ellis' screenshot
Then grab the bottom-most circles and use Object -> Pathfinder -> Exclude Overlap
Lastly, with your Exclude Overlap circles still selected, use Release Compound Paths.
This has the same effect, but I don't love the anchor-points-and-scissors method myself. Many years ago I taught myself Illustrator with a flaky mouse on an irregular surface; it left me with a pathological hatred of tasks that require fiddly mouse-work. So I have keyboard shortcuts for all of the above, and can select all of the objects without having to very carefully mouse over a path. If you're fast with fiddly mouse-work, Ellis' method will probably work better for you than mine.

FX has just provided an update that is suppose to fix this issue but the update fails to download...I guess I'll just wait a couple of hours until they fix it.
In the meantime I turned off the plugin and it's now working. At the moment I just need to draw in illustrator so fonts aren't a worry for now.

I am trying to point my domain name to my .mac webspace using the new feature available for iWeb 08.
I can see the cname category in the DNS setup on the control panel and have changed the cname www to web.mac.com as described and have waited over 48 hours and still no change. I just want to rule all avenues out before approaching my hosting company.

Well all I can say it would have been nice if apple included the charger for the price these things cost. Sometimes you just don't have access to a computer to charge it. I'm OK because I have the iPad charger but I still think its a cheap move on their behalf not including one.
