Does anyone knows a way to work with various Pages documents at the same time, for example with a system of tabs to switch directly from one document to the other?
Hello everyone,
Working with numerous Apple Pages documents at the same time, I am looking for an efficient solution to switch faster from one document to the other. Integrating all them in a single framework, for exemple by switching from one to the other with a system of tabs would be of great help. Does anyone knows if such a possibility exists?

You're very welcome but Peggy really gave you the answer already.
With regard to the full screen apps, I don't think Apple have yet worked out how to make them elegantly coexist with other apps. The closest you can get is the four finger swipe gestures you may use on a trackpad if you have one (Mission Control and App Exposé).
In fact nowadays I use the App Exposé (four finger swipe down gesture) more often than I use Command-Accent to move between documents in the same app (when not in full screen). It also as the advantage of showing you thumbnails of recently opened documents below the ones already open within the app. If you haven't tried it, I suggest you give it a whirl.
I can't remember now but I think the four finger gestures are not enabled by default and you must switch them on in System Preferences > Trackpad > More Gestures.

It makes it clear that airplane mode turns off processes involving cellular networks, which doubtless involve rather strong transmissions, while allowing others such as wi-fi and Bluetooth. I'm puzzled though why the iPod rather than the iPhone has the airplaine mode when it has no cellular capacity. Perhaps it's there but doesn't actually do anything other than making it possible to conform to a request to switch into airplane mode, and display an airplane icon to satisfy flight attendants who are checkng up on you! -

You will have to return the Mac and order one with a Portuguese keyboard, if you bought it less than 14 days ago.
If not, you will have to buy a new Mac (that's because some keys may not fit onto your MacBook Pro keyboard) or just set up OS X with a Portuguese keyboard but with US keys -

If you just downloaded "free" Numbers then yes you have the current version that runs on OS X v9.x
If you need a Mac data processor (not specifically Numbers) then Open Office.org, Neo Office.org both have spread sheet (aka "number like) apps included with them. They also are free. -
When I am in the iTunes store site and listening to samples of music the songs stop playing after 12 seconds. Does anyone know a way to get it to play the full one and one half minutes?
I have a similar problem with at least two songs that I know of, one is an iTunes download (encrypted) the other was imported from a CD using iTunes (no encryption). Both songs play 2-3 seconds then immediately go to the next song. The "weird" thing -- I plugged my iPod into my new MacBook which has no songs other than what are on my iPod (i.e., not playing the song from another source) and both songs play fine. Unplug the iPod from the computer, plug in headphones and the songs skip again.
I've gone through the 5 R's as well, with no luck. -
Does anyone know a way to modify "Default Settings" printer preset?
I use enough different presets that I find that the "Last Used" preset for printing if often what not what I really want.
(Background: I save a number of different profiles for different types of print jobs, so that I can select "Color Production" as a preset, for example, and get a number of printer settings configured as once, like Color Settings, Quality, Color, and duplexing. These are set and selected using the "Presets" picker in the Print dialog box. One can use the picker to save and view settings as well.)
Am I correct in that there doesn't seem to be a way to change the "Default Settings" preset? The "Show Presets" pick in Presets doesn't offer the ability to change the presets, and the "Default Settings" preset can't be deleted here, unlike the user set presets; it also isn't possible to save a preset as "Default Settings".
Ideally, changing the default would let me check the box to always use the default (as default), but this way I would have my own defaults. We are trying to consult to one of our clients that using SAP/r3 with Oracle 10.2 DB.
The client has a team of 4 DBAs, and the entire team members are using the username <SAPSID>adm in order to login to the DB and conduct changes and other operations.
We believe this is the wrong way to handle the login authorizations, and we think that each DBA has to have his own user name in order to enable audit trail. The client's IT team manager claims they don't know how to create personal user names with the authorization level of the <SAPSID>adm, and they must use this user name for their needs and operations.
Does anyone know a way to replicate the <SAPSID>adm user authorizations to some other DB admin user name so they will enable audit trail for each team member?Hello,
You can create any number of users have authorizations similar to sidadm user but I don't think it will serve the purpose because of the way the things are designed to be maintained in SAP.
However, you can utilize an alternative. Create individual OS IDs for each person who has to log on to OS. Assign 'sudo' access to these individual IDs to logon to 'sidadm' and 'orasid'.

Have the oldest ipod touch. . daughter forgot password to enable it. It's now been disabled for 22K minutes. I'm trying to reset as a new device, but iTunes is telling me it can't do anything w/it b/c it's "disabled". Does anyone know a way around this?

Hello, The Hatter, I read about the 'trick' of backing up, erasing, and restoring too, but I figured it would take longer than defragmenting the disk.
But the defragmentation process has just finished! so I'm gonna try to run Boot Camp again soon!

And P.S. I didn't clone my system onto the external drive, I just inserted the Mac OS X Install CD, rebooted holding down the "C" key, and installed a fresh Snow Leopard system onto the predetermined partition. I will use that in cases of emergency, when my main/internal system becomes unusable. -

The iPhone is not user servicable. You can get an out of warranty replacement from Apple for $149. If you open the phone yourself, you forfeit the ability to do this.

I had not used the iCould version. I just fired it up. So far I don't know how to click to make a reference to another sheet but the syntax for sheet and table names when typing them in is a little different. If there is a space character in the name, you have to put single quotes around the name.

I was watching the downloads and restarting once they stopped as I allow multiple downloads at athe same timeIt sounds like you may have hidden it, in which case you should be able to unhide it : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases. (You can't turn off the hiding of items.)
But you should be keeping and maintaining a backup copy of all of your downloads and not relying on being able to redownload them - any item could be removed from the store by the rights-holders at any time, if they do then you won't be able to redownload them (nor will be able to do redownload items if you move countries).
