Does anyong know how to retrieve bookmarks after firefox gets reinstalled I did hundreds of hours of study straight.
I am hoping you can help me with this please reply. I spent hundreds of hours doing research for Collage. Mostly regarding IT courses, with between 5 and 40 hour research sessions every day, at least 10 weeks straight, but I cannot retrieve my bookmarks, Without going into detail. Windows, i.e. Microsoft, checked my primary hard drive without asking and changed its letter path, causing me to have problems booting the computer making it impossible to repair the operating system, which also effected the bookmarks in the old firefox browser. The collage I attend require in order to attend I use Firefox 3.6.28 or the lowest possible one available. Please help. I tried looking up bookmark help and even accessed the firefox profile folder but nothing has worked. Tanks in advance.

You may still be able to access the old profile if you use the Profile Manager to create a new profile and choose the location of the old profile as the location for the newprofile.

I don't know of there is anyone than can fix this age old Apple problem. Does anyone know how to retrieve apps under an old Apple ID when the email used for that account no longer exists & I can't remember the password? After speaking with Apple Acct. Security, I got the security Q right but my birthday was wrong! They wanted the serial number from my phone that was 3 iPhones ago! Seriously??!!

It might be that you selected "Delete sent mail after a mont (or a week, or whatever)" in Mail Preferences. iCloud account is IMAP, so it won't keep mail in your HD. I have that problem.

I havent' took any backup of my notes in icloud. The moment I enter the password after restore my notes will be empty. The only option to get notes back is that after restore skip entering icloud password. But any time I enter icloud password anywhere again my notes will be empty. I have huge data saved in my notes. Apple need to look into this issues very seriously. This is the 5th time I restoring my iphone today just to get my note back.I have the issue with losing all my notes and I don't even know why. I can't remember changing any email account info. What happened to them?

Please let me know...If you have not yet been locked out, a Restore will do it for you. Everything is restored except for the password. Be forewarned that the Restore is easy but it takes a long time.
Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes." -

Forgotten Restrictions Passcode Help
You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.

My account's balance shows at the top left of the store's page on my computer's iTunes, and by logging in to view my account via the Store > View Account menu option. itunes asked me if iwanted to erase all my files on my iphone when i connected it to my second computer.

and all of my very important voice memos were deleted
however none of my photos were deleted...... and they count as files don't they?

PLEASE HELP!!!You should never try to sync your phone with more than one computer or you will lose your data. The pictures were not deleted because the sync process does not touch Camera Roll pictures (it only includes them during the backup step of the sync process).
If you had these voice memos on your phone when you last synced it to your first computer, and if you haven't synced to this computer since then, you could restore from the backup created during your last sync. This will replace the data on your phone with the data from this older backup so anything new will be lost. If you think that is the case, do not sync your phone again to the first computer prior to restoring from this backup or you will overwrite it and the backup will be lost. Instead, prior to connecting your phone to your first computer, open iTunes and disable automatic syncing by going to iTunes Preferences and on the Devices tab checking "Prevent...from syncing automatically". Then connect your phone and when it appears in iTunes on the left sidebar right-click on its name and select Restore From Backup and choose your last backup (containing your voice memos).
If you didn't have these voice memos on your phone when you last synced to your first computer, or if you have synced again to your first computer since losing your data, then your voice memos and other data are lost. -
I have just returned home from holiday and reset my phone to icloud (having said it wouldn't lose any information) I now find that I appear to have lost all my holiday photos. Has anyone got an idea how to retrieve them?
If you've enabled PhotoStream, you should be able to find photos there. Otherwise, you are SOL.

When I open the “My Passport for MAC"; there is a a folder titled “Backups.backupdb”. When I open the folder there is a folder called "Paulevinemacpro”. When I open this folder there are numerous folder with date labels. When I open the one of these folders, there is folder called “MAC HD”. When I open this folder there are several folders titled; “Applications”, “Incompatible software”, “Library”, “System"; "User Guides and Information". How can I retriev past e-mails?
Rather than using the Finder to peruse Time Machine files you should use Time Machine directly. Open Mail to the folder from which you want to restore email and then pull down the Time Machine icon to Enter Time Machine. Select a date and time and which emails you want to restore and then click on Restore.

Hi! My computer got a virus which prevented my from opening any application which includes my browsers. I didn't know what to do so I asked someone to reformat the computer for me. Now I don't have all my previous bookmarks. Is there any way that I can get them back. Those are all important for me. They really are. please help me on this. I don't know what to do. Please help.
I'm afraid that all your personal data including the bookmarks in the Firefox profile folder is lost if you didn't create a backup before reformatting the computer or in the past.

recently transfered from AT&T to Verizon iphone 4s and when I did the syn everything came over to new device except exchange calendar items. Any idea how to get them synced. I 've lost them from the computer as well.
This has nothing to do with switching carriers and the syncing of calendar events over the air with an Exchange server has nothing to do with the iTunes sync process.
On the iPhone go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Select the Exchange account.
Is Calendars turned on for over the air syncing?
