I have a contact saved in my phone only contact number is saved.. Does iPhone automatically synchronizes the email id related to that contact if that contact person is having an apple id??

Ur correct buddy. This is what we supposed to do.. But I have saved one contact number without email Id information entered. When u am searching that name in search box I am receiving contact details along with email id.. This is mysterious to me...

Making sure everything is allowed through firewall
Rebooting phone/laptop/router
Disabling ipv6
Disabling all networks except the one curently on
Re-installing iTunes
Restoring iPhone
No luck with any of those unfortunately so i just thought i'd see if anyone else is still without wifi sync after trying those as well and if you ever found a fix, thanks.

I just wanted to leave a note that it's working now. I'm not sure if it was the latest iTunes update that got it working or that i decided to start a new library instead of using the one i had backed up on Windows 8 (it didn't occur to me to check using the old library when i re-installed iTunes). But if anyone is having this problem, it might be worth trying again with a new installation of iTunes to see if the latest update works for you, and if not, try using a fresh library instead of a backup (by fresh library i mean discard your old library completely and start a new library, not just restore as new iPhone, a whole new library).

You can set up your iCloud account on your iOS device under: "Settings > iCloud" and a other account for store purchases under "Settings > iTunes & App Stores". Unfortunately merging accounts is not possible but you could transfer all of your music manually via iTunes from your Mac or PC.

Deauthorize Audible Account... always appears as a menu selection, even if you deauthorized Audible or never even had an account.
Audible is a different account from iTunes and does not require the same username / password.

Is it possible to search for multiple folders with the same name and then select them all and change the permissions on just those folders .i.e. Search for the budget folders in all client folders and lock them down to just the project managers. Without having to go to each folder and apply the permissions.

We'd prefer to make a single call. It's too bad the REST Api doesn't return the data in the same format as the WCF service, which uses the Display Name and not Internal Name. It also includes the hyperlink to the document.

When does Apple confirm their problem with the firmware 1.1 on 5g ipods???

I'm really frunstrated about the unwillingness from apple support to address/confirm the issue around firmware 1.1 on 5g ipods.
I spent hours to talk to support and explain varios tests I did on that subjetct, but apple keeps saying: It's not our problem!
Shame on apple! I really thaught apple is different, but it turns out, that between shareholder value und marketing campaines there's no space for customer care....
Did somone suffering with the same issue (video freezes after 30 sec and continues without sound) got any better answer from apple?
What information does apple need to confirm it's apple's problem?

I have bought my 30GB iPod Video just 3days ago, and it tried to upgrade the ipod updater to 1.1.
I have updated my ipod without a problem. And I had also updated to latest version of iTunes.
Itunes had given error few times and closed itself while optimizing photos before transfering them to ipod. I have sorted out that it was due to my photo folder being over 2GB's, than started importing them in smaller portions by adding a new folder each time. Afterwords, photos and pictures copied to iPod without problems.(but i have to add, i have received a nonsense error like 'itunes cant write to folder or something)
After a bit of dazzling and struggling i was able to play videos and music as well. But after few seconds iPod screen frozen and i wasnt able to do anything. I have reboot it, and tried to change songs, and after few songs, the screen frozen again, wheel was not functioning but funny part, music was still playing. I got online and checked the forums and seen other people having those problems after upgrading to new firmware. I have uninstalled the 1.1 firmware and installed the one on CD, and I have also downgraded my version of iTunes as well. Now things seems to work all fine.
I just don't get why apple withdraws this buggy problametic version of firmware, they will drive more users go mad and not every computer/iPod user would figure out why it happened themselves...
One more thing I have to add. Why I am also having hard to understand why each version of iTunes started consuming unbelievedable amount of RAM on computer. I have 1.4Mhz centrino with 512 RAM, and the sound distorts(slows down) over iTunes when start copying files from DVD. Or it cause errors and shutdowns 'on optimizing photos' stage on iTunes when i try to copy photos to my iPod. I don't think 1.4Mhz and 512mb ram shall be called as low resource simply to use iTunes. They really need to retest, debug and optimize their software. And immediately, remove that 1.1 firmware from apple.com until they resolve the bugs and error inside it.

no it doesnt...i was really hoping it would, but when you connect it it says:
"This accessory is not supported by iPhone"
...it probably has to do with the extra pin on the iphone headphones (left audio, right audio, microphone/click-button), where the fm receiver jack only has (left & right audio). there's no reason why they couldn't just pass that through on future versions, but all the fm receivers out to date probably dont support the extra pin

I could not download the upgrade to the mountain lion. my updates were taking an enormous amount of time for other programs. When I finally got the indication it was waiting to be downloaded I had to shut down. It was after 2 am and I was practically unconscious already with all the trauma of trying to find the right place for the redeem of the code to open the password. It was all confusing and poorly communicated by Apple. The terrible deterioration of Apple's written communications by non-American techies who can't write for easy understanding, even by this old time tech afficianado is heart-breaking and frustrating is putting the effects mildly. I have not yet gone back to the mac book pro to finish the job. I am too frustrated and unhappy with the new system. Also, I found out the hard way that my time capsule saved files on the macbook Snow Leopard, which still works fine after 6 years of use, is locked in that external drive and I cannot transfer the items except one by one or by folders on that computer to a DVD or to a flash drive, to mport to this new computer. Because the systems are not the same, I can't access the files automatically. I fear I will have further problems with the mountain lion vs. lion in seeing those files. What can I do? What should I do? I am afraid to designate an external hard drive I purchased with the new laptop for the time capsule because then it won't work with any other computer. I read of terrible incompatibility issues and crashes and things not working right once Mountain Lion was installed and now I am terrified they will happen to me. Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps.

Bought a new macbook pro, synced phone with the new computer and now cant get transferred music onto my phone

I recently bought a new macbook pro to replace my 2007 macbook. I transferred my music from the old macbook to the new macbook pro. Today i updated my iphone4 to ios5 (on the new macbook pro), and in doing so, deleted my library off of my phone. The problem is, when I try to put the music i previously transferred onto the new computer, to my iphone, it wont let me transfer anything. Any ideas why this might be happening?

The Original Poster got someone on the phone who knew how to "play" the system to get around that and squirt out a gift card "for customer satisfaction". The person you talked to was less familiar with how to play the system, so simply restated the standard company policy.
If you really did buy it 14 days ago today, take it all back to the store and politely insist that you get the gift card you feel are entitled to. Exactly how they process that transaction, and whether you leave with the same computer you brought in, is their problem.

Can I sync it with the Mac (iTunes) and use it as a storage device on Win?

I have my iPod nano set to sync with my Mac where I have iTunes installed. In the Mac I also set (via iTunes) the iPod to behave as a mass storage device.
My question is: can I use my iPod to sync music at my home Mac and while at my job connect it to my Winows PC (without iTunes) to use it just as a USB storage device?
I once tryed to use the nano as a storage device at Windows (without iTunes) and something went wrong. In the end I had to reset nano and reinstall the iPod soft.

Probably the easiest way to use an iPod on both Mac and Windows computers is to format the iPod (using iPod Updater) using the PC. This will force your iPod to use the Windows file system (FAT32) which both the Mac and PC can read from and write to without the help of additional software. Of course then all your software updates for the iPod will have to be done on Windows.  If you need to use a Mac (HFS+) formatted iPod on a Windows PC, you'll need to install some 3rd party software such as XPlay 2.0 (which you can get from MediaFour Software). This will enable your Windows PC to read a Mac-formatted iPod.

AC 8 - Does this version come stock with the email widget and print widget? Are there other non stock widgets I should also purchase?

Thinking of purchasing AC8 for training and quizzes / assessments. Does it come with the print and email widgets? Are there other widgets I might also need that don't come stock in Version 8?

Thanks Lilybiri for your response. I had a version of Captivate version 7 and had to purchase an email piece separately so I would receive notifications on quiz completions etc. I just need to know if that would also be the case for the print function and email function in 8.

Problem with the personal name in a screen

I want to show in a screen the name of a person. But how I can change the username in the screen from, for example: sap01 into Mr. George Smith?
Is there any programm from SAP who can manage this?

Unfortunetly Mike, you would need a Function Code to trigger the processing as you are asking. However, you can only append the USER-COMMAND option on a Check Box or Radio Button.
However, here is another option.
Hide all the fields execpt the User name field. This way the user must hit enter or F8/Run to go forward and you can handle this processing of name in the AT SELECTION-SCREEN event routine.
