Does Apple Care Plus for iPhone provide International Coverage?

I purchased my iPhone 5 (GSM-Unlocked) on vacation in Miami with the additional Apple Care Plus, and I was wondering if my iPhone was damaged in any shape way or form could I bring it to an Apple Store in Holland for repair services. E.g. Shattered glass of the screen?

No. It is only valid in the country of origin. Just like the original warranty.

  • Does apple care cover stolen iphones?

Does anyone know if Apple Care covers stolen Iphones?

Not confused but true, there is a difference between warranties and insurance policies, in most cases. After confirming with my agent, my insurance policy on my apple products is no longer available to new clients. My agent stated it was too "liberal" in its coverage and was subject to fraud.
Apple makes great products and the first year coverage is fantastic plus my insurance coverage I'm double covered for 12 months. Anything that renders my apple products useless, including unexplained loss or diminished functionality is covered by my insurance policy(again, they don't offer this level of coverage anymore so I don't want to tease anyone here) I would however recommend looking for similar coverage from other insurance companies.
I also recommend adding AppleCare plus AND standard insurance on you "big apple" stuff.
If you travel a lot, it's a no brainer to ask your insurer about loss, breakage, and theft and deductibles  when out of country. You may be happy with your coverage or opt to add more insurance.
Again my coverage is every bit as good as AppleCare plus and very pleased with it, however case in point, true story, a student traveling with us in London had his usa iphone 4S die on him (1.5 years old with AppleCare plus) and we booked time at a apple store, and he received a new one not a refurb, 20 min in/out, restored it on iCloud and his MacBook. It was handled perfectly by apple. If my iPhone 5 dies next year in London, I will get a new phone with my insurance BUT not instantly in London at an apple store. So mr black is correct.
Short story,  long .....if you travel or subject to theft (student etc) get both, for two years you will be be COVERED to the max and then after that you will be covered.

  • Does apple replace battery for iphone 4 if its not under warranty?

does apply replace battery for iphone 4 if its not under warranty and the iphone is a different color?

    http://www.apple.com/batteries/replacements.html
    iPhone Owners
Your one-year warranty includes replacement coverage for a defective battery. You can extend your coverage to two years from the date of your iPhone purchase with the AppleCare Protection Plan for iPhone. During the plan’s coverage period, Apple will replace the battery if it drops below 50% of its original capacity. If it is out of warranty, Apple offers a battery replacement for $79, plus $6.95 shipping, subject to local tax. Apple disposes of your battery in an environmentally friendly manner.

  • Apple care plus for stolen/lost phone

I have apple care plus and I know I can pay a fee to replace my phone if it's damaged, but does this cover a lost or stolen phone as well?  Can I pay the 49$ fee to replace my phone if it's missing?

No. AppleCare+ only covers damage, not loss or theft.
    Regards.

  • What exactly does apple care plus cover for the 4th generation ipod touch?

  • What does Apple Care+ cover for accidental?

I plan on getting the extra coverage, what does it cover? When they say it covers accidental coverage for $79 fee, what damage is covered under that?
Note: I plan on buying the coverage for the iPhone 6

    From http://www.apple.com/legal/sales-support/applecare/applecareplusnaen.html:
    3.2 Accidental Damage from Handling
If during the Plan Term you submit a valid claim notifying Apple that the Covered Device has failed due to accidental damage from handling (“ADH”), Apple will, subject to the service fee described below, either repair the defect using new or refurbished parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability, or (ii) exchange the Covered Device with a replacement product that is new or equivalent to new in performance and reliability (both individually known as a “Service Event”). ADH coverage will expire and all of Apple’s obligations to you under this section 3.2 will be fulfilled in its entirety before the end of the Plan Term when Apple, as a result of ADH claims, has provided to you two (2) Service Events. ADH coverage only applies to an operational or mechanical failure caused by an accident from handling that is the result of an unexpected and unintentional external event (e.g. drops and liquid contact) that arises from your normal daily usage of the Covered Device as intended for such Covered Device. ADH coverage does not include (a) protection against normal wear and tear, theft, misplacement, reckless, abusive, willful or intentional conduct associated with handling and use of the Covered Device, (b) protection against any other act or result not covered by the Plan, as described in Section 4.2 below, or (c) any resultant damage to the Covered Device that arises from one or more conditions described in Section 3.2(a) or (b). Apple may ask you to provide an explanation of where and when the accident occurred with a detailed description of the actual event. Apple will deny your claim if you fail to pay the service fee or fail to provide information relating to the accident when asked.

  • How many times does apple care replace a iphone

i had my phone replaced 2 times already for cracked screen and wondering if i can go again to get it a new one i have apple care!

Apple Care does not cover damage to the phone at all... AppleCare + will cover 2 incidents of damage with a $49 per incident deductible.
If Apple replaced your phone when it had a broken screen and didn't charge you for it, you were very very lucky.

  • Does Apple Care cover cracked iPhone screens?

My iPhone vibrated right off the table and the screen is cracked. It didn't really bother me at first but now the glass is starting to fall out. I have the Apple Care insurance so I was wondering if it covered cracked screens. Thank you!

  • Apple Care Plan For iphone 3GS

Having bought the 3GS on launch day in the UK.
Does anyone think the care plan is a good idea and worth the £58.
Please advise the reasons why, or why not?
    Cheers

You have up to one year after purchase to buy AppleCare. Wait 11½ months and if the rumours about the next iPhone make you think you will be upgrading to it, then don't buy AppleCare. If you think you will keep your 3GS for another year, then you can buy it.
Interesting strategy. But I believe Applecare starts having advantages at the 90-day mark when the included tech support ends. I assume that if you have to visit a Genius Bar or call tech support after 90 days you pay for it if no Applecare.
I believe in getting Applecare and have for all my Apple products. On my iBook and first MacBook it was a good decision. The MacBook was sent off for service twice, both after the end of the one-year warranty, the iBook once. My iPhone 2G worked flawlessly for 23 months and still is good. All it would take is one repair of an iPhone out of warranty to more than equal the cost of Applecare, I suspect.
I should add that I generally don't upgrade a phone before the 2-year mark (skipped the 3G) and keep a laptop for at least two years (my iBook, well out of warranty, is now being used by a friend .. and my original black MacBook is now owned by my grandson who uses it to develop iPhone software). With an Aluminum MacBook purchased in Oct 2008 I can't really justify upgrading to the new 13" MacBook Pro quite yet, alas!

  • HT1349 does apple care cover for stolen phone

No, but if you have insurance through your carrier then it may be covered by their terms. I would check with your carrier. Good luck!

  • Apple Care Plus not in Canada

I called Apple and was told that Apple Care Plus for iPhones 4s is not available to the Canadian customers, only for the US. Is Apple going to introduce it in Canada? If not, why not?

We are all iphone users and would have no idea what Apple is going to introduce, unless they announce it.

    Welcome to the boards.
First, what kind of liquid was it, and was it fully submersed?  For how long?  Do you see water droplets or moisture behind the screen?  How long did you leave it in rice for?  Etc.  More data please.
And the short answer is no, apple care does not extend from your iPhone to your iPad mini.  Both items require separate Apple Care plans to be covered.  Furthermore, I don't think water damage is covered under Apple Care.  Only manufacturing defects.
If you bought it on a Credit Card, you may be lucky enough to call them and ask them if they have a replacement program as a benefit for being a card holder.  I believe AMEX has one on their Platinum cards, and worse case scenario, you can always try to file a claim with your home insurance or renters insurance  (check your policy).  Just beware, if you go the Insurance route in filing a claim, you might have your premium go up in the next cycle.
    It's a double edged sword, I'm sorry.

  • Apple Care Plus Accidental Damage for iPhone 3GS

I purchased Apple Care Plus (set to expire in April 2013) when I got my AT&T iPhone 3GS. The phone has started falling apart over the past year and last May the home button, ringer, and volume switches completely went on the phone and I have been using assistive touch ever since. I dropped my phone accidentally about a week ago cracking the screen beyond use. I figured I'd check my Apple Care account since my mother also dropped hers (she had AT&T's monthly protection plan and is getting her 3GS replaced with an iPhone 4S tomorrow) and it is being replaced with a newer model. I wasn't able to find any posts here or on the interwebs about whether or not your phone (after the $49 fee) is replaced with the same model or a newer model. I'm a few weeks away from an upgrade elegibility and since I'm in college, $49 compared to $199 does make a big difference. I've made an appointment with the genius bar for Tuesday, but would love to get some feedback before making the trip in there.
tl,dr: Will Apple replace my iPhone 3GS with another 3GS or can I get a newer model?
    Thanks!

Correct. Make an appointment at http://concierge.apple.com/reservation/us/en/techsupport/. You'll leave with a new phone at the end of your appointment. There is a $49 deductible for an AppleCare Plus replacement when you've had accidental damage (such as the cracked screen you mention).
