Does apple cover iphone repairs even if the phone is bought through another tariff?
If I have an iphone contract with a tariff and something happens to my phone which happens to be uninsured, will apple help me?
There are troubleshooting steps you might try first. If your phone is freezing, rebooting is simple and often cures ills.
To reboot, simply press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time until the logo appears (the screen will go dark at first, but keep holding until the logo appears), then let go of both buttons and your phone will restart.
The next step would be to restore your phone, which you can do via iTunes on your computer.
Try the first step and see if things improve.

iPhone warranty is not international, you can take it to the Hong Kong Apple Store and ask but don't be surprised if they hand the iPhone back to you and tell you to take to United States for service

The only connection iCloud has with photos is Photo Stream. That's where the last 1000 photos you took with your iPhone are uploaded into the cloud and synced with your Macs running iPhoto. iCloud does not erase anything from an iPhone, or an iPad for that matter.

URGENT...Can Apple recover my data even if the phone won't turn on?
Please I need an answer. It's an iPhone 3g. It fell and got badly damaged, it won't turn on but everything inside looks intact. Can the Apple store recover my data from it if the motherboard, hd etc. is intact?
No. To recover your data connect a replacement phone to the computer you regularly sync to and you can restore your new phone as of the last sync/backup.

Yes, if the screen is not cracked, this will be handled by Warranty. Cracked screen is Out of Warranty repair, and for iPhone 5 this will cost $229. For either, make Genius reservation or set up Service and take or send to Apple for resolution.

My iphone 4s got water in the headphone poert. I put my phone in rice for 24 hours and the LED is on. It stays on even when the phone is off. How can i fix it without taking it to apple and spendding 200 dollars to have them fix it?
Short answer is you probably cannot. Once water gets inside the device and it is powered on, the damage likely is permanant.

Recently the sound on my Iphone 4 for texts, and email alerts started working intermittently. I have upgraded to the latest software and the Apple store even replaced the phone but safe issues
For each mail account, along with designating a primary SMTP server, you should be able to just turn off any and all other SMTP servers you have listed. In that case, if there is a problem with comcast, the message send should just fail.
Also make sure your comcast smtp settings are correct (port, likely 587 but might be something else for comcast, whether you should be suing SSL or not, do you need authentication or not).

Unless you had enabled Find My iPhone on it before it was lost then there isn't any way to locate it (it can only be turned on directly on the phone, it can't be done remotely). If you did enable it then you could try locating it either via http://icloud.com on a computer or Find My iPhone on another device - but that will only work if it's connected to a network and the device hasn't already been wiped and/or Find My iPhone disabled on it.
If you think that it was stolen then you should report it to the police. You should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc. -

I updated my IOS on my iPhone 4S and it locked up. I had to restore my phone and now iTunes will not go past the setup your phone screen even though the phone as been restored. How do I get iTunes to go past this screen so I can sync my phone again?
Depending on what iPhone you have when you get to the connect to wifi you should be able to activate your device over cellular data. Try doing a hard reset by holding the home circle button an power button until an apple pops up and the go through the setup again and when you get to the wifi part a option should be setup with cellular data iPhone 4 and above should give this option sometimes doesn't like showing up that's why u have to do a hard reset first

I recently had my iPhone 5c screen replaced. When I switch the phone on all I can see is a dark blue/navy backlight on the screen. The phone powers on although I can't see the apple logo. I can ring the phone a bad Siri is fully functional.
I Have tried to soft rest it but it does not work.

Unfortunately, since an unauthorized party opened it, Apple won't have anything to do with it at all. It's not eligible for an out of warranty replacement. -

The frustrating part about the restore is that is seems to be finished when it in fact is not. The restore will look "finish" and your phone will be at the Swipe to Unlock screen. If you swipe and look at your home screen at this point of the restore, you'll see everything is not quite right. While the process seems to be not doing anything just leave the phone attached and do something else for about an hour. This part of the process is not mentioned during the restore operation. I believe there are about two steps to the restore process: 1) restore the phone settings (ringtones, background, notification settings, etc.) and give the user the unlock screen; 2) without letting the user know there is still more to do, begin the slow process of restoring all the music, movies, apps and what not. It's this second step that causes the confusion. Nothing lets you know to wait that process out. I've restored a couple devices from a computer backup and the 2-step process looks the same.
