Does apple fix cracked screen
I have an ipod Touch and the screen is cracked does Apple repair screens and if so how much ?
Apple at this time does not repair iPods, but will replace the entire iPod for a flat fee; see the Repair Pricing section here:

There are independent iPod repair services that may be able to replace the screen for less. Do a web search for "ipod repair". It is also possible to purchase parts and find instructions on doing a repair yourself, though it's not particularly easy. Note, though, that if you elect to have the iPod serviced by an unauthorized shop or perform a repair yourself, all further support from Apple will be void.

Basically I dropped my iPhone 4 from a few floors. The back and front are all smashed. When I connect it to the computer iTunes seems to recognise it but I can't see anything because LCD is damaged.
I heard Apple can repair this but do they actually repair these parts or do they give you credit on a new phone. I don't mind paying. But in the condition that this phone is in, I rather get a replacement instead of a repair.No, accidental damage is not covered by the warranty

If they determine that the ipod is defective, then warranty will cover it.

Apple's recommendations are usually hardware and software related. How to charge the battery, the benefits of backing up, transferring purchases, and things like that.
I have never seen Apple officially recommend any third party accessory and I doubt that they ever will do so. Using a screen protector is up to the individual. I have always used a screen protector of some type on all of my iDevices. I have somewhat oily skin and I would rather trash and have to clean a screen protector than have to keep up with cleaning the glass.
I have an iPad 3 and I have it encased in an OtterBox Defender case with a built in screen protector. My iPad 3 is in pristine condition - screen and back. My OtterBox Defender has taken quite a beating however, and I prefer that the case take the abuse and not the iPad! -

No. The AppleCare extended warranty only doubles to time to a total of two years and extends the time of free telephone support. It still excludes accidental damage like what cases a cracked screen.

I recently dropped my 4th gen. ipod touch and the screen cracked. Part of the inside of the ipod is exposed. To have apple fix it i have to pay 100 dollars.Digi Express will charge 75 dollars to replace the screen. I also found the ipod screen replacement kit which only cost 12 dollars. Which one do you think i should go with?
I doubt that what Eric Ross says is correct. I'm pretty sure that you will get Apple parts from Digi Express or from the $12 replacement kits. As to what you should do, it's up to you. Look at You Tube (most replacement kits should have a link or do a Google search) to see if you are up to doing it yourself. Just remember if you fail, Apple (and probably most third party repair places) will not refix your iPod so you will have to buy a brand new one.

My daughter dropped her i touch and the screen cracked. I spoke with a tech and he said it is covered. I went to an apple store and i was informed that is incorrect. in order to replace the screen they will charge me $99.00 and replace the I touch.

The phone is free, the box will cost you $199.00.
Apple does not cover damage, such as water, unless you have Applecare+. Even with Applecare+ you will still have to pay a small fee to get a replacement device.
