Does Apple have an email or not?!
Hi, I just want to ask ANYONE here if I can email Apple with a simple question about? I have spent about 40 minutes looking around the website and either they've hidden their email or they don't actually have one. . . . anyone else know?
I went through the same issue a few days ago and could not believe the frustration I felt! Apple, if you read this, more customer service please!!

I have purchased about 3 chargers and even trued buying a new phone and going to apple about the problem. My problem is I will go to charge my phone and after an amount of time within having the charger, a month or so later my phone wont take the charge anymore. The connection doesn't work and it flickers almost in and out with charging the phone to not. I have even had my friends try the charger and it doesn't work for them either.
Take it into your local Apple Store for testing.

Does Apple have an email for complaints?
I rented a movie and never finished downloading it. Then iTunes got rid of that movie. I want my money back. So I was wondering if there was an email address where I could tell them that because I don't have the time to send them a letter and i don't want to call them and end up talking to a machine. So where do I voice my complaint online?

5 year old 2nd Gen Ipod nano only works for an hour the most. Battery may be approaching end of life.
Can this still be replaced? if not, what are my options? Does apple have a replacement program?Just would like to share with you, my experience with a friend's Nano with a smiliar problem
The battery level could be too low to boot up the OS of the iPod, which even may corrupted (if you see a folder icon).
The best way to fix it, is to connect it with different device other than your PC as it is likely not get charge at all, e.g.
1. car charger
2. ac charger
3. ipod speaker dock system
4. using firewire cable
5. with a Mac computer
The key is to charge the battery level up to the minimum for you to put your Nano into disk mode

once you see the "tick" mark, connect it with a computer, and try to do a Restore for your iPod. In case you still do not manage to get your iPod to be recognized by a PC, I am afraid you have to connect it with a Mac, very likely it will allow you to do a Restore as I did last night -

Just to add this : iWeb -- the app itself -- is still supported,updated only months ago and as part of the ilife '11 DVDs still widely spread even though it is not sold on the AppStore it is official part of iLife. It runs in Lion and there is zero issues with the app. So a training makes sense, doesn't it ?.
They would only to exclude the "publish to me.com" part to be up to date for courses and trainings :-≠ -
I downloaded some home movies onto my IMac but could not find a way to burn them to a DVD. Does Apple have software to do this or do I need to purchase one. If so, what is recommended.

Do you want to create a video DVD that will plan on a TV set via a DVD player or just burn the video files to a data DVD disk for storage?

If iDVD was not preinstalled on your Mac you'll have to obtain it by purchasing a copy of the iLife 09 disk from a 3rd party retailier like Amazon.com: ilife 09: Softwareor eBay.com. Why, because iDVD (and iWeb) was discontinued by Apple over a year ago.
Why iLife 09 instead of 11?
If you have to purchase an iLife disc in order to obtain the iDVD application remember that the iLife 11 disc only provides themes from iDVD 5-7. The Software Update no longer installs the earlier themes when starting from the iLIfe 11 disk nor do any of the iDVD 7 updaters available from the Apple Downloads website contain them.
Currently the only sure fire way to get all themes is to start with the iLife 09 disc:

You then can upgrade from iDVD 7.0.3 to iDVD 7.1.2 via the updaters at the Apple Downloads webpage.
Export the slideshow out of iPhoto as a QT movie file via the Export button in the lower toolbar. Select Size = Medium or Large.
Open iDVD, select a theme and drag the exported QT movie file into the open iDVD window being careful to avoid any drop zones.
Follow this workflow to help assure the best qualty video DVD:
Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image, launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding is good.
Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.
However, there are video DVD authoring apps that are available at the App Store that will create a video DVD disk. They won't be as extensive as iDVD but can create a simple video DVD.
iDVD 7.1.2 is compatible with iDVD but we don't if it will be with the next system generation. -

Why can't I update my iPad iso 4.2 version? I go to setting and it does not have it like it should. Why does apple have to make things so freaking hard! Help!
If you have an original iPad 1, the latest version of iOS it can run is iOS 5. So you should be able to update no problem.
Update iTunes to the latest version (11.0.2). Then simply plug your iPad into the computer and open iTunes. Click the iPad either in the sidebar or the top navigation bar. Then attempt to update the software. If it doesn't work, please post the exact error message.
Note that it would be wise to first ensure you back up the iPad. -
My new iPad 3 constantly loses the wi fi signal. Does Apple have any plans to correct this issue or should I return it. I had no problem with my original I pad. Both are in the exact same location in my house. I'm finding this very annoying and disappointing and am being forced to us my 4 g data plan
You may already have tried this, but before you completely give up, I'd check your home router software and also reset the router. I haven't seen this particular issue arise on these forums with new iPad devices, so perhaps it has to do with outdated software or configuration on the router not playing well with the new device....

Hello community!
How do i make an official complaint about an app? They have stopped access to my account and are trying to extort money via paypal (skirting Apple) to allow me access again!! Who might i contact regarding this behavior? Does Apple have a code of ethics required for apps?
Ive used this app for a couple years now, invested a significant amount of money developing my account over that time (close to a couple of grand id say). The Apps support wont discuss the situation, just demand the cash to reopen my account. There is no anual fee or anything.... Its extrordinary behavior to now be faced with this loss of investment.
I dont wish to go into more detail in the public domain but your help in directing me to the apropriate contact/department would be greatly apreciated. I'm located in Australia.

In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever. -
Does Apple have a web download of Snow-Leopard compatible QuickTIme 7?
I installed Snow LEopard onto my MacBook Pro 15" on Friday at work. I left the Snow Leopard install disc there, and now at home I realize I did not install QuickTime 7 and I need this to be able to work proficiently in FCP.
I keep reading that you can download QuickTime 7 at Apple bit every time I try and install after download it says that it is not compatible with this OS.
Does Apple have a Snow Leopard compatible version of QuickTime 7 available as a download? Or am I screwed and have to wait until Tuesday to get to wotk and install from the disc? Why does it have to be so difficult?
DanThere's also an installer on the "Utilities" or "additional components" installer on the Snow Leopard disc.
