Does Apple have plan about Thai Language support on "iPod" device? (especially iPod Classic)

Hello Guys,
My name is Dithapong from Thailand, and I'm one of the big fans of Apple products.
I love music, so the "iPod Classic" is the latest device I've bought. The sound is great, more than other iDevice
Only one problem for me, the iPod classic does not support Thai language,
so it's hard for me to play or search Thai song (it show 'blank' in iPod) which is my native language ><
So, I wanna know that, does Apple have plan to release new firmware which have Thai Language support on iPod device?
I and many iPod lovers in Thailand will be very much happy you (Apple) do.
Could you please give my an answer? whether it is Yes or No (with the reason)
Thank you very much
Dithapong

  • My wife is very color deficient and has a hard time with the font colors in call log. Any way to change and does Apple have plans to correct?

My wife is color deficient and has a hard time with the font colors in the phone log and messaging. Is there any way to change color or background and does Apple have plans to correct this?

There are some minor settings in Accessibility that you can look at, however it really isn't much for color changing. As far as what Apple might have in mind, we are not Apple here, we are users like you. It is against the terms of service to speculate what Apple might have in mind. • Why does Apple have so many other languages into their devices but Swahili language from East Africa isn't added? Could somebody help me answer this question please? Thanks!

Hopefully someone inside Apple will see this and help us People that are using Apple devices but we do not have the option to change to our own language. Please Apple People look into this and consider it as a lot of people speaking Swahili are using apple products. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

If Swahili is not on the list and you would like to recommend it to Apple, please tell them at http://apple.com/feedback

  • Does Apple have any plan to add Persian support in iWork?

Does Apple have any plan to add Persian writing support in iWork?
    like in the next updates?

There is support, OSX has 3 input methods for Persian:
    Menu > System Preferences… > Language & Text > Input Sources > Persian/Persian - ISIRI 2901/Persian QWERTY
but OSX has general problems with placing cursors in the right position in R to L languages.
Mellel is currently the best solution for all the R to L languages.
You just missed getting it in a MacUpdate Bundle.

  • How do i make an official complaint about an app? They have stopped access to my account and are trying to extort money via paypal (skirting Apple) to allow me access again!! Who might i contact regarding this behavior? Does Apple have a code of ethics!

    Hello community!
How do i make an official complaint about an app? They have stopped access to my account and are trying to extort money via paypal (skirting Apple) to allow me access again!! Who might i contact regarding this behavior? Does Apple have a code of ethics required for apps?
Ive used this app for a couple years now, invested a significant amount of money developing my account over that time (close to a couple of grand id say). The Apps support wont discuss the situation, just demand the cash to reopen my account. There is no anual fee or anything.... Its extrordinary behavior to now be faced with this loss of investment.
I dont wish to go into more detail in the public domain but your help in directing me to the apropriate contact/department would be greatly apreciated. I'm located in Australia.
    Best regards,
    Mike

All I can suggest is to contact iTunes. You should not have been able to create a new account with the same email address

  • Does Apple have any future plans to add the 8x DL SuperDrive to the 15.4"?

Just as the thread reads: Does Apple have any future plans to add the 8x SuperDrive (DVD+R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW) to the 15.4" MacBook Pro? I'm very interested in this unit for college, but I need to have DL burning capabilities.
    Thanks!
    Randy
      Mac OS X (10.4.6)

Actually it's not a question of when Apple feel like it.
The old Powerbook was 1.1 inches and had an 8x drive. The drive from the PB was too tall for the MBP. The 17 does not have the problem as it uses a "wider" drive, one too wide for the 15
So until someone manufactures an 8 speed drive as thin as the 4x drive Apple can't offer it.
I hope that helps somewhat - it may be an idea to look at what the major drive manufacturers are coming out with. Also the timings for Blue Ray and DVD HD may mean that Apple decide to skip going back to 8x drives anyway - of course that depends on the size of those drives and Apples MBP form factor staying the same.
Totally agree with what Rachel said also.
    Best of luck.

I appreciate your repsonse, but the irony is that Apple is still scheduling "One-to-One" & Joint Venture training on iWeb knowing that it all will end next June. ..
Just to add this : iWeb -- the app itself -- is still supported, updated only months ago and as part of the ilife '11 DVDs still widely spread even though it is not sold on the AppStore it is official part of iLife. It runs in Lion and there is zero issues with the app. So a training makes sense, doesn't it ?.
They would only to exclude the "publish to me.com" part to be up to date for courses and trainings :-≠

  • Does Apple have any plans for a similar app as Samsung S Drive?

Does Apple have any plans for a similar app as Samsung S Drive?
Samsung recently released 'S-Drive' - an app for their Samsung Galaxy program which only allows certain features to be used when driving. I much prefer my Apple iPhone, but as my children grow up, this is much safer. Thoughts?

Ah, sorry fellas, and thanks for clarifying that for me.  I thought Apple would also have tech's who monitor / respond in these forums.  My bad.  Cheers though... and let's see what they (might) do.
Is there any way to encourage them / let them know of apps such as this and that it might be a good thing?

  • My I pad 3 constantly loses my wi fi signal. Does apple have any plans to correct this or should I return it. This was not an issue at all with the original one.

My new iPad 3 constantly loses the wi fi signal.  Does Apple have any plans to correct this issue or should I return it. I had no problem with my original I pad.  Both are in the exact same location in my house. I'm finding this very annoying and disappointing and am being forced to us my 4 g data plan

You may already have tried this, but before you completely give up, I'd check your home router software and also reset the router.  I haven't seen this particular issue arise on these forums with new iPad devices, so perhaps it has to do with outdated software or configuration on the router not playing well with the new device....

  • Does Apple have any good way of managing iPhones for business?

I finally broke down and allowed iPhones into our company when Apple introduced the ability to provision phones like phones (e.g. don't have to teather them to a computer to set up).  This and the "business" management tools opened the door, so we got about 30 of them.
    WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE!!!!
Apple is now going backward.  When a phone comes into our shop, we have to load up iTunes and get the phone to sync before we can do simple things like wipe the phone or troubleshoot "why did my bluetooth quit working".  All of their "enterprise focus" seems to be around security and app control, with nothing I've seen for the day-to-day keeping things running.  (Not saying app control and secuirty are unimportant, just not enough).
Does Apple have any good business management tools that I'm missing?  I know about MDM, but too much setup for a relatively small number of phones.  Besides, my understanding is the MDM only does app management / security policy.  Right now we use Apple's stand-alone configurator.  Fine for pushing policy and apps, but useless for troubleshooting and day-to-day management (like resetting a phone back to factory configs).
Also, is my carrior correct that Apple will not allow them to replace phones that have gone bad under warranty?  They told me for the iPhones we have to physically take them to an Apple store for troubleshooting / replacement even after 100% identifying the issue!  That is an hour (at least) wasted to send one of my folks to the store.  I know we don't just have a bad carrior, becaue they happily send out replacement on other brands after troubleshooting over the phone.
I actually do like the overall look/feel of the iPhones.  But unless Apple becomes much more corporate-friendly, I can only recommend that companies refuse to purchase any iDevice.  BYOD, sure...but when you buy tens or hundreds of phones stick to Android, Blackberry, or even (sorry) Microsoft based devices.

Does not seem to work that way for us.  We plug the phone in, and the first thing iTunes does is say the phone needs to be "authorized for this computer".  It also states that the phone can only be authorized for x computers.
It then goes through it's jig while we wait, and finally comes up with the phone.  Only then can we try to wipe / update the phone.  We do stop the sync process, that automatically starts wanting to run.  Maybe has to do with a version difference between what you use and what we use.  I did notice that an older version of iTunes seemed a bit friendlier, but would not support our iPads.
However, when we were troubleshooting the bug where wireless / bluetooth quits working it was quite a bit more difficult than this for a phone a user handed us.  Troubleshooting steps required that the phone be "restored" in iTunes.  However, iTunes insisted on our providing a password that neither we nor the user knew.  Maybe just learning curve, but it took about an hour before we were able to get that phone to a point where we could reset it.
Here is a sincere question for you, since you say you support a fleet of phones.  Do you really NOT get annoyed when your tech has to take a iPhone to a computer with iTunes, plug it in, and work from there whenever there is a user issue that needs to have the phone wiped back to factory standard?  This compared to being able to punch a few buttons on a different phone, right there in the users office, then hand it back to the user and say "your are fixed".
My only assumptions are that IT staff want to solve issues as quickly and efficiently as possible.  Requireing a tech to deal with iTunes for simple procedures is not, IMHO, "as quick and efficient as possible".

  • Does apple have update to idvd so I can use Sony dcr-sx44 camcorder

Does apple have an update to idvd so I can use sony dcr-sx44 camcorder?

If you already have iDVD then run Software Update, if there are any updates available for iDVD they will be posted. While that doesn't answer your question directly it is your best option. Looking at the software specifications for the camera it doesn't look like it was ever intended to work with OS X. This is what I found on Sony's website:
    Software
Supplied Software : PMB Ver.5.0 Supports Windows XP Service Pack3 (SP3)(32bit), Windows Vista Service Pack2 (SP2) (32bit), Windows 7, 64-bit editions and Starter (Edition) are not supported. Not supported by Mac OS.
Operating System Compatibility : "Windows XP SP3 * /Windows Vista SP2 ** /Windows7 * 64-bit editions and Starter (Edition) are not supported. The Windows Image Mastering API(IMAPI)Ver.2.0 or later is required to use the function for creating discs. ** Starter (Edition) are not supported. Standard installation is required. Operation is not assured if the above OS has been upgraded or in a multi-boot environment. "
I suspect a camera upgrade may be what you need to do.

  • HT5423 Does Apple have anything official documentation listing compliance with UN38.3, UL 2054, and UL 60950-1?

While it's nice to claim compliance in a Press Release, does Apple have anything official backing this up, like a test certificate, or at lease a Statement of Conformity listing UN38.3, UL 2054, and UL 60950-1? These aren't listed in Apple's "Important Product Information Guide."

Obviously aviation is a special use of the iPad.  You come to a forum of regular users with an attitude about Apple and it takes numerous posts before you so much as give us a hint as to your (alleged) real needs.  Perhaps if you're really interested in the information, rather than simply trying to make some sort of a point, you would ask United Airlines or American Airlines why they chose the iPad.  Naturally, you could also ask the FAA why they gave their approval.  In fact, you could always ask Apple, which apparently you never did.
On the other hand, you could simply stay here foolishly trying to make a point about Apple.
