Does apple iphone 4s support android

does iphone 4s support android

If by "support" you mean can it run android, the answer is no. It only runs iOS. iOS is a great operating system though with tons of great features. http://www.apple.com/iphone/ios/

  • Does Apple iPhone 4 Dock support answering calls through apple headphone

Does Apple iPhone 4 Dock support answering calls through apple headphone? or is the audio out just a simple audio out that cannot interact with the headphone cable remote control, e.g. answering calls , skipping to next song as we used to as normal?

From my experience, whichever one is connected last reigns supreme and takes over.
When I walk to my car, I have my headphones in, and when I plug it into my car dock (with the headphones still plugged in and music still playing), the music switches from the headphones and pumps through my car stereo.
Then when I get out of the car and plug my headphones in (with the car dock still attached and playing music), the headphones take over.

  • HT3472 does apple iphone 5 earphone will support apple ipod 3 generation? my 3 gen ipod is not supporting

does apple iphone 5 earphone will support apple ipod shuffle 3 generation? my 3 gen ipod is not supporting.
please help me out to solve the issue.if any third party earphones support please let me know

If the headphones are the Apple EarPods, it does not work with the 3rd gen shuffle (the remote control buttons do not work).
As an alternative, you can get an adapter like this one (there are several similar products)
    http://www.amazon.com/iLuv-iEA15BLK-3rd-Party-Headphone-Compatible/dp/B002RL9WDQ
that has the remote control button, and connect ANY standard headphones.

Does the Apple Iphone 6 support a prepaid nanosim for activation?

    Hi WHY!666,
Yes, it does as long as your carrier is supported and you've 3G/LTE.
    With kind regards,

does the iphone browser support java?
    can it run java applets?

No, there is no Java support in the iPhone. (There is javascript, but that's obviously quite different.)

  • Does my iphone 4s support GSM service?  I recently upgraded to this smartphone from a AT

Does my iphone 4s support GSM service?  I recently upgraded to this smartphone from an AT&T Non-smartphone and now I am not able to access data coverage at my cabin upnorth. AT&T says I only have GSM coverage in this location.  Is there something I can do to make my iphone 4s do to pick this service up?

That model shows as non-CDMA iPhone 4s
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3939?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
It will support GSM. You will have to work with your carrier to
get the signal improved. In the past, with AT&T, if you complained
enough they would provide you with a MiFi device - but that only
helps if you have an internet connection already in place.
Your problem may be due to the remote location - particularly if you
are not in cell phone range due to lack of towers. But the responsibility
belongs to the AT&T. Is the problem that you can make/get phone
calls but do not have enough bandwidth for streaming video/audio?
Or is there no connection whatsoever?

  • Why does apple tv not support amazon prime?

why does apple tv not support amazon prime?

If you have an iPhone/iPad it may be possibel to 'Airplay' from teh Amazon Prime app on the device - no Amazon Prime in UK so I can't confirm it works.  Check reviews of the app in iTunes.  Airplay is not something I like much as you have to have another device to work with the AppleTV.
As to why there is no native support for Amazon Prime on the AppleTV itself, we could ask the same for any number of services, but:
1 - Apple/Amazon are competitors to some extent so they may not want to
2 - It may simply not feature in Apple's plans for the device
3 - Rights owners may not allow Apple/Aamzon to collaborate
.....and dozens more possible reasons I suspect, none of which really make sense to you an I as a consumer...

  • Does apple tv work with android tablets

Does apple tv work with android tablets.

    Doubtful.
What allows for streaming content from an iPad to a television thru an Apple TV is Apple software included with iOS on the iPad and the Apple TV software. Unless there is a 3rd party android app that provides for this, no.

I assume you mean Voice over LTE (VoLTE)? If so, I do not believe it does. It certainly doesn't with my carrier (Verizon).

  • Does the iPhone 6  support use of bluetooth enabled mouse?

Does the iPhone 6  support use of bluetooth enabled mouse?

I'd really like to think so as well, who's using a tempered glass for the screen an a similar film/glass for the backplate that can shed some realistic light on this query? help is much appreciated.
people tend to get a bit hysterical when they see my uncased 4s, and yet after 2.5 it is still in better shape than everyone else's.....so if that's gonna be the case with the 6 plus I'll be satisfied.
I understand the 6 (and 6 plus) have a cureved screen and that most glass protectors are a bit dorky and dont go all the way to the end. would ones that go all the way be more fragile and by that endanger the screen or is full coverage better? is there a suggested tempered glass protector for the 6 plus?

Does the iPhone 4S supports Bluetooth pairing with iPad mini?

Only from within peer-to-peer apps from the app store or internet tehering (if proved by the carrier)
They support bluetooth for handsfree telephone, stereo music, some keyboards, some peer-to-peer apps from the app store, and internet tethering when provided by the carrier.
Other than these it will not connect to another iphone, phone, computer, device, ipad

  • Does the iPhone 5 support Sprint's 4G Wimaxx?

this is the answer i got from an Apple Support representative before he disappeared without saying anything:
    Now Chatting with Kaeleb
Hi, welcome to the US Apple Online Store.  How are you?
does the iphone 5 work on sprints 4g wimaxx and 4g lte?
Yes it sure does, the iPhone is designed to run Sprints network wherever you have it available.
i was told by a sprint representative that the iphone 5 is only capable of supporting their 3G or 4G LTE and doesn't supoort their 4G wimaxx
    Then that information is correct
Our iPhone is designed to run whatever network the carrier allows for, if they have features not offered specifically they would be the ones with that information. The network information comes from the carrier.
yes but is the phone capable of it? it either has the antenna to connect to it or not
All iPhones have antennas to connect to a cellular network, the type of network it connects to is determined by the service provider, in your case Sprint.
I haven't heard from you for a few moments. Would you like to continue chatting?
your not giving me useful answers
I am giving you accurate information
Wether its useful or not, the information your looking for comes from Sprint.
there are specific antennas and frequencies that must be used depending on what you're trying to connect to
And since you have already discussed this with them, I have no idea why you are here asking us about something Sprint has already clarified for you.
your the company that designs and manufactures thephone
Your not getting it. As you said, we make the phone.
    With an Antenna
The type of network* is determined by the service provider.
because prior to ever speaking with sprint one of your apple representatives gave me information contradicting that
4G, 4GLTE etc, all made up by the carriers to determine their networks.
what im asking is: is the iphone 5 made to be compatible with 4g wimaxx
whether or not sprint allows it to be
I get what your asking but your not quite understanding the answer. The iPhone is made compatible to connect to cellular network. Apple does not have information regarding which network types it will connect to, its designed to work on a GSM or CDMA network, the network strength which is 4G etc, is determined by the carrier. Here at Apple we have nothing to do with that.
We don't make iPhones designed specifically for 4G, 4G LTE, 4g wimaxx or any other network. Its made to run on a GSM or CDMA type network.
you manufacture 3 different iPhone that have specific antennas radio frquencies based on which carrier its going to be activated on
From the your carrier determines the compatibility.
    Thats not true
We manufacture 2 types as I told you
    GSM and CDMA
Sprint and Verizon are both CDMA
a verizon iphone cant be used on sprints network and vice versa because the use different frequencies
    both cdma but different
like the differnence between wimaxx and lte
Not true, its because the phones are locked to the carriers services. It has nothing to do with Antennas, I am not sure where you are getting your information but if you can show me on our website where it says anything about 3 different Antennas then I would understand where you are coming from.
Let me get you the number to our technical support team so that we can find a resolution to this issue. 800-APL-CARE(800-275-2273)
    one moment and i will
I am a sales chat and here to assist customers with the online store, I am not going to be able to leave this chat open for you to contact technical support.
    i already spoke to them
Ok great, do you have any online sales questions I can answer for you?
they weren't able to give me an answer and aid to look online
I find that hard to believe, this team knows for a fact and are the experts they would never direct anyone to go online for that information. You may have spoke with customer service. You need to call technical support from the number I just have you.
    well they did
GSM model A1428*: UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1700/2100, 1900, 2100 MHz); GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz); LTE (Bands 2, 4, 5, 17) CDMA model A1429*: CDMA EV-DO Rev. A and Rev. This is a final warning to stop this type of response. If this conversation is not kept on a professional level, this chat will end.
    thats from your site
you asked me to show you thats what i did
You can call technical support but I need to assist customers with their purchases today.
i have been nothing but professional
    i am a customer
i own a macbook air and mac mini
as well as 4th gen ipod touch and an old iphone 3gs
Great, this is a sales chat.
and this is how youre going to treat me?
I have helped you to the best of my ability, your in the wrong department
All I am doing is getting you to the correct team, because obviously you have not been given the information your looking for.
well you helped me as much as your so called technical support that youre trying to refer me to. even though i already stated they werent able to help me
I guarantee you didn't speak with the technical support team. There is no way they would send a customer online to seek that information, they are well aware that the online store chat is for online sales assistance. I am not going to continue to argue with you. This chat is not going anywhere with this back and forth. If you want assistance you will call our technical support team.
    800-APL-CARE (800-275-2273)
thats who i spoke to at 10:03
put me on hold several times and said he was unsure and for me to look online
    in your chat community
Then I would suggest calling back because for whatever reason the agent you spoke with the last time must not have been an Apple trained technicians, as they get this question plenty and know the answer.
Thank you for choosing the Apple Store. If you have any additional questions, please chat us again.
You are currently not in a chat

All the information you need is right here: http://www.apple.com/iphone/specs.html
Notice there is no mention of WiMax.
It doesn't really matter anyway as Sprint is rolling their WiMax network down for use by MVNOs. Actual Sprint customers will not have access to WiMax at all. It was a failed experiment.
