Does Apple repair computers under warranty if you dropped it?

My Macbook Pro slipped out of my hands tonight and crashed to the floor (hardwood, alas). And the side, where the ports are, struck a power strip under my desk.
So much for Unibody durability----when I picked it up i was sickened to see a HUGE DENT on the left, right above where the ports are. Big giant puffed-up dent in the speaker.
Everything works, no apparent problems, abd it charges and the firewire plug goes in even though that's where it's most dented, but it looks horrible and the lid of course wont close all the way now (though it still sleeps).
Do you think Apple will fix it? It's only two months old and of course under warranty, but I did drop it.
Maybe I could just hammer it back into place....

There are independent iPhone repair services that may be able to do the repair for less than Apple's out-of-warranty charge. Do a web search for "iPhone repair". If it is under warranty and Apple determines it to be defective, then they will replace the iphone.
If it is not under warranty or they do not determine it to be defective, then they will not.

The small white bracket underneath my Enter key broke, does apple cover this under warrenty?

I got the 13 inch Mmacbook Pro for Christmas about 3 weeks ago and I started having issues with my "Enter" key almost immediately out of the box. I didn't see a huge probably with it until it started to get worse. Now if I press the top of it at all it comes out. I think the small, white bracket underneath the key broke because when I examine it, there is a small portion of it missing. Could have just been a production flaw or something. Either way, I wanted to know if Apple covers this under warrently. I have no problem going to Apple if they can fix it and I have looked everywhere for the part to see if I can just order it. Also this is evidence you will want to buy AppleCare to extend the hardware warranty to 3 years.

Does apple give refurbished macbook pro when you replace?

i replaced my new mackbook pro with another one from apple store. the first one had some problems in trackpad.the 2nd one is doing fine and um using it for over thn a month but the thing is few days back i discovered more thn 10 spots in my macbook whereas i dont remember when did it get these spots....another thing is i can see the keyboard lights like the small round led things under the keys but in other macbooks the round lights cant be seen....um pretty upset about these matters...can anyone suggest me what should i do?? suggestion would be highly appreciated.... thanks.

I'm almost positive that all replacement units are refurbished units (almost never brand new)...
...however, if you are having your unit repaired, then you get that back...

My wife and I both have 64GB iphone 5. I am military and we had to move to a new town. Our service is with AT&T. They called us to tell us we were off network, and we could not use any of the data we pay for every month. And they have the option to terminate our contract at any time. So my question is, if this happens does anyone know if carriers, or apple will switch out your phone, or do we have to buy new ones.

Afraid you will have to buy new phones. Neither Apple nor any carrier I've ever had has considered that sort of thing a condition to replace your devices (AT&T and others have let people out of their contracts without penalty because of moving though).
Before you leave AT&T, ask them to unlock your phones. Then, you may be able to use them with T-Mobile - although T-Mobile is not fully compatable with all iPhone features yet, their service may be an option until you are ready to buy new devices. Also, your iPhone 5's would likely still get you a decent return if you sold them, or just used something like Gazelle (Gazelle's web site just came up with an offer of $380 for 32GB iPhone 5, factory unlocked in flawless condition - $400 for your 64GB devices with the same conditions).
So, you should be able to get enough for your iPhone 5's to pay the subsidized new contract cost of new iPhones with Verizon or Sprint.

Why does apple have this stupid thing where you cant change your apple id to another persons and then change it back? Its really annoying and why 90 days!!!!!!!!!!

There is a very good reason why Apple does this.
Basically it is to prevent people from sharing purchased content with their friends. If you buy an app that costs lets say $19.99 and you let a friend sign into your ID on his device in order to download that purchase for free - that is what most people would call stealing. And your not just stealing from Apple - you are really stealing the bulk of the money from the app developer.
There is nothing that you can do now. You have to wait the 90 days. And it is highly unlikely that any feedback to Apple is going to matter. I don't see them changing this anytime soon.
