the battery in the iphone is not user replaceable - you can send the iphone to Apple or (I believe) take it to an Apple store or authorized repair place and they will install a new battery - i forget what they charge - i think in the US its $79 but im not sure
if you try to install a battery yourself or get oen installed from a non authorized place your warranty will be voided

Why is the replacement battery for my Macbook 2010 not lasting long?

I just had a new battery installed in my mid 2010 Macbook (white) a few hours ago. Once it was done charging, I looked at the battery bar and noticed it was suddenly down to 95% even though I saw that the cord was just on green light (means fully charged). The estimated time remaining is 2 hours and 56 minutes. Isn't supposed to be 10 hours? The battery is new. I went down to Apple to have it replaced.
P.S. I am not running any program at the moment, but Safari. Bluetooth is always off. My brightness is 1/3 of the bar. My operating system is Mavericks 10.9.5

I also have a 32G 3GS (also under warranty), and it was having issues with the side volume on/off key and with 3G reception. I took it to the Apple Store, and I got a new version of the same model. It might have been refurbished -- don't know. But it's new to me. Though the side volume on/off key works just fine now, I'm still having some 3G access issues. I need to have my malfunctioning 4GB iphone replaced. Do they replace it with a 4GB or an 8GB? I thought they stopped making the 4GB.

There should be plenty of 4GB phones for warranty issues. If the Apple Store Genius Bar near you doesn't have one in stock, they will order it in for you. They should also be able to make a loaner phone available to you as well. Are you having an issue with your phone?

Generally not.
Like any manufacturer, if Apple has a "run" of a particular problem, they may extend the warranty on that component.
Sometimes if a problem occurs shortly after the warranty runs out, they'll cover part or all of a repair.
All Macs come with a one-year warranty, but you can purchase AppleCare to extend it to 3 years. Most extended warranties aren't worth it, but this one is. Note that it does not cover theft or things like liquid spillage. You can get it direct from Apple, but sometimes at a discount from resellers. Is the MacBook LCD physically damaged? Physical damage is not covered by the Terms and Conditions of your limited warranty.
If the MacBook LCD is flawed or defective then it's replacement would be covered by your limited warranty.

I agree with fanboy512, it's always a case-by-case basis. Technically, however, Apple will only cover something if it's eligible and within the one-year limited warranty or the three-year AppleCare agreement timeline. There's always extenuating circumstances and that's where it comes down to the case-by-case basis.
At 1,000 cycles, you'd have to put almost a cycle a day on the battery within the three-year AppleCare agreement timeline which for most users is not very practical.
