Does apple TV dim after awhile?
I haven't had much time to troubleshoot this, but I've noticed that at times, my screen gets dimmer when using Apple TV. About halfway through a movie last night this occurred, and again shortly after. Is there a setting in Apple TV that would cause this or is it more likely a setting on my TV? It's a Vizio 37" LCD.
AppleTV shouldn't dim the output unless it's faulty.
It could be the movie encoding if it's bad but that's unlikely.
Most likely is your Tv has some automatic brightnedd adjustment in response to ambient light which is either faulty or getting altered by some change in the room.
Check your Tv mode options to see if it's on some preset that changes brightness in response to ambient light.

This indicates a network problem.
Power cycle the ATV and router.

my ipod touch is stuck on the apple logo and after a while a white screen comes up and it restarts and the same thing all over agan. this happened to me before and after a while it turns on but why does it keep on doing this?

While doing a non-iTunes upgrade to 8.02 my iPad froze on the apple screen. After hours of waiting I forced a power off. Froze in same place. Tried attaching to iTunes on PC from power off. Freezing in same place. Any ideas on how to get past this so that I can at least run a restore?
I Don't know that recovery mode would work, but did you try it?

IF that fails, have you considered erasing the device using Find my iPhone in iCloud.com? I'm not sure what good that would do either of the iPad continues to freeze, but if nothing else is working ..... -
When trying to install apps from app store it does not prompt an apple id and after 15 minutes says "cannot connect to itunes store".
Your Apple ID may be greyed out because of restrictions. Settings>General>Restrictions>Allowed Changes>Accounts. If you set that restriction, your ID will be greyed out. Nobody can make changes to the account without entering the passcode to change disable the restriction.
Maybe something in here will help, even though this is not exactly what you are experiencing.

Creative Cloud icon disappeared from Apple Tool Bar after I installed some CC updates. Does somebody know what the problem can be?
I had a similar issue. I closed the Cloud icon, and when I went to open it again, it just died.
I uninstalled Adobe Creative Cloud, went to the Adobe CC download page and requested a trial copy of PS, being sure to enter my CC name and password. It then reinstalled Adobe Creative Cloud, and all is working again (I hope). -

This is the best invention to make people buy new devices. Why am I asking this to Apple???? Maybe I´m wrong and I have to ask to Microsoft or maybe Google? There is a law that obligates all carrier companies to unlock those devices that are off contract. But even with this, this company denies to do it. They suppor their idea in the fact that that law was published on Oct´12, so brilliantly they have solved to unluck only those devices bought after that date..... Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I am sorry for my lack of specificity. I made my purshase through the iTunes store. I made a purchase and less than a week later the item is on sale for $10 less than I paid for it. Will they refund the difference if I bring it to their attention?

This seems not always to be the case...
Assume an unsaved file in the IDE. Then there are two disk symbols, one in the toolbar, one in the status bar. If I click on the disk symbol in the toolbar, the toolbar symbol disappears (it only shows if the file is modified), but the disk symbol in the toolbar does not get dimmed. It works correct if I use the File / Save menu command or if I click on the toolbar symbol...
By the way, what is the date format in the known issues list, e.g. what does 'Added: 00/41107/' mean?

The updated list of known issues lists ID 357212 as resolved, although it is not, it should have been re-opened... the bug still exists in CVI2013 SP1
