Does apple tv have full YouTube?

As title, just wondering if apple TV had access to the full YouTube or is it limited like on the iPhone and smart TV's? As in a lot of content is blocked out or not available.

Limited.

  • Does Apple Canada have the worst customer support ever?

    Yes! Ask me why...
I'm posting here a) to warn other Mac users what to expect if you ever need customer support and b) because there's no where you can actually e-mail comments to Apple, and trying to contact customer support has been fruitless (see below).
    Here's what happened to me...
I bought my iBook just under three years ago - a few weeks ago, the logic board went. Now, because I purchased the computer less than three years ago, that's covered under the extended warranty for iBook logic boards (see here: http://www.apple.com/support/ibook/faq/).
Simple, right? Well, I took my computer in to my local authorized service provider about three weeks ago. They confirmed the logic board was the problem... copied my receipt for the iBook to prove date of purchase... agreed that it was covered by the warranty.
However, when they sent all this to Apple, their reply was that it was NOT covered because it was manufactured more than three years ago (although Apple's own website says it's purchase date - not manufacture date - that's important).
I called Apple last Monday to find out what was going on. Spoke to a nice fellow named Kevin who said he'd look into it, and call me back the next day.
Next day passed... no call. I called Kevin back left a message, and indicated I'd like to know what was going on.
Wednesday passed... no call. By this point, I'm getting anxious - the service provider can't move ahead without authoriztion from Apple, Apple's not returning my calls (or the service provider's) to grant authorization.
I tried Kevin again on Thursday. Left another message. No reply.
Tried back on Friday morning. Left another message. Still no reply.
Called customer support again Friday night. Antoine puts me hold for a half hour. I call back, explain that I've been on hold for half an hour, ask how long the wait should be. Antoine says two or three minutes. He puts me on hold again.
    For another ten minutes.
I call back. Antoine explains that the reason I'm on hold is probably because customer service is closed. So why was I on hold for nearly an hour listening to terrible music? That's one of the mysteries of Apple customer support...
So here I am, with a computer that's been in the shop nearly three weeks, that can't be repaired because Apple won't honour its warranty, and no way to even find out what's going on, because Apple's customer service is such an unnavigable maze.
The sad thing is, I usually like Apples. I was even going to buy a new one this summer.
    Now - not a chance.
The moral of the story? If you own an Apple, pray nothing ever goes wrong with it. If you expect your computer to ever need repairs, I'd suggest getting rid of your Apple now.
If you're considering buying an Apple - consider again.
As for me - from now on, make mine Microsoft.

Does Apple Canada have the worst customer support ever?
    I doubt it.
Seriously, would you like some help?
Call back, and don't mess around with Customer Service. Immediately ask for Customer Relations. These are the people whose job it is to make an unhappy customer happy again. They aim to please.
A polite, but seriously disappointed tone of voice is what you need, so take some deep breaths until you can achieve that.
There was an article in the February, 2005, issue of Reader's Digest called "How to Complain." Please read these tips. Then call and tell Customer Relations your sad experience with Customer Service.
    How to Complain
You call customer service to complain about a product, and you hang up angrier than when you started. That’s customer rage, a feeling experienced by millions of people with a major complaint, says Scott Broetzmann, president of an American firm that tells companies how to offer the best customer service. His secrets to getting good service:
    Have a goal
If you want your product repaired, say so. Want an apology? Speak up.
    Keep it short
Focus on one problem, and be succinct.
    Stick with it.
You have to invest the time it takes. Don’t get what you want? Ask for a supervisor.
    Skip ultimatums
Don’t threaten not to do business with them again. Why should they help you if you won’t buy from them in the future?
    Plead your case
Many companies have information such as how much money you’ve spent with them and how often you complain. If you’re a good customer, they may be more willing to help.
    Be nice
You’re unlikely to get what you want if you’re rude.
    Good luck!
(P.S. Microsoft doesn't make computers; just the crappy OS that goes on them.)

  • Seriously, Stop the DUPLICATE Madness! Is there a fix for my duplicate songs on my iPad? Like really, I don't have time to drag and delete my songs. Does Apple really have a simple solution to this bug?

Seriously, Stop the DUPLICATE Madness! Is there a fix for my duplicate songs on my iPad? Like really, I don't have time to drag and delete my songs. Does Apple really have a simple solution for this bug? It's been 5-months, I currently do not have quick access to a sync, I thought iMatch for Christmas would solve the problem but it appears that doesn't solve anything either....help please! If I listen to my kid's lula-bye song in duplicate for another night I'm going to seriously loose it on Little Boy Peep. Like really Apple do I need to call IN and pay for this problem?

The possible problem appears to me that songs that were previously loaded onto the iPad device from Mac were duplicated when I started to sync with iCloud. An album will contain one song from the iPad that was originally loaded on sync with Mac and another that will appear either with a little iCloud icon next to the song greyed out or a DUPLICATE song.
I had hoped iMatch would solve the issue magically, but that does not appear to be the case.

  • Does Apple TV have iMessage?

Really quick question.  Does Apple TV have iMessage?  I will need to use my apple ID for a family Apple TV but obviously don't want messages etc popping up on the family screen (or for that matter the kids to have access to them if they dig around a bit!)
Does apple TV connect to iMessage?

    Hi
As far as i know Apple TV does not link to your imessage accounts

  • Does apple tv have a monthly fee?

Does apple tv have a monthly fee?

Apple TV does not, but you need a subscription for other services like Netflix, hulu, etc.  the biggest advantage to Apple TV is you can mirror anything from an Apple device to your TV.

  • Does Apple mail have trouble with AOL E-mail addresses?

When I send E-mail to an AOL E-mail address at least 50% of the time I get this annoying “Delivery Notification” failure crap messages back.
I just copy and paste my original message and I keep sending it until I don't get that crappie message back anymore.
Does anyone else have this problem? If so, did you figure out how to fix this problem?
    Thanks.

I had a bit of trouble sending to AOL in the past. It seemed most often when my email addy had the word MAC in it.
My ISP is Macace, and they would frequently get returned. If I used my throwaway yahoo account all was fine. I thought it was somehow linked to how mail.app did things so I went in and did a test via webmail. The email still got blocked.
Do AOL not like Macs? Who knows what is going on. They have a Mac version of their software so it shouldn't be.

  • Does Apple TV have to automatically sync every time I open itunes?

It took over 10 hours to sync iTunes with my apple tv. Every time I open up iTunes on my computer, the Apple TV automatically starts syncing with iTunes. When I try to cancel the syncing process, it says I will lose everything on my Apple TV. Is there any setting that will allow me to sync my Apple TV with iTunes only when I want to update it? HELP! I don't have time to do this every time I open up iTunes!

It shouldn't take that long everytime.
When it first syncs yes...but after that, iTunes will "sync" when opened but only does a quick check for changes in content and will update only files that need to (put new ones on, take old movies off depending on how you have your settings).
But really shouldn't take long after that first time unless maybe it never finished the first time.

  • Does Apple Mail have a timer?

I have 1,500 newsletters to send to a homeowners association. My Internet Service Provider limits me to no more than 1,000 messages in an hour. Is it possible to set Apple Mail to regulate the time it takes to send the messages? For example, could I send 300 every hour?

No. Mail does not have such a timer. Maybe a third party email client might but I've not heard of such.
Better solution is to find a third party email service like iCloud or Gmail or Yahoo than to comply with arbitrary limits from your ISP. Who are these people anyway? Are these limits imposed on non-business accounts? Is there a business account option that would allow you to send your newsletters? How about switching ISPs?

  • Why does Apple not have adobe ? Is there anything comparable?

What can I use instead of Adobe as I have been told Apple does not support the use of Adobe. I have a game that requires adobe flash. I also want to get a MAC but I don't want to not be able to print things that need Adobe PDF .

You can read why its not available here.
    http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/
There is an app in the App Store called "Skyfire Web Browser". It lets you view a lot (not all) flash websites and videos.

  • Too Many Artists Listed - Does Apple TV Have a "Compilations" Function?

I've got a bunch of compilation CD's in iTunes. The album name is grouping them in "Albums" within Apple TV, but the "Compilation" feature found in iTunes is missing in aTV.
Meaning that if there are 14 songs on 1 compilation by 14 different artists, all 14 artists show up in the "Artists" view on aTV instead of remaining hidden and navigable only via a click in the "Album" view.
Is there a workaround for this? It's working just fine in iTunes and I don't want to over-write my artists there just for the sake of cleaning up aTV. OTOH, it's very weird explaining why Burl Ives is one of my artists when in reality he sings a few tracks on the Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer CD that I've got for the holidays.
    Help.

    Bump.
Someone help me out here. Has to be a way to use "grouping" or some other iTunes sorting feature to a) keep the compilations on aTV and b) not have all these unimportant artists show up in "artists".
    Right?
