Does Audition Support Mackie HUI Protocol (Presonus Faderport)
Hi, im considering to buy Presonus Faderport but i have heard that Audition doesn't support Mackie HUI nor native FaderPort.. I want to know if is it for old versions (1.5 and 2.0) or all versions (if it does work with 3.0) and if there's news about upcoming Adobe version working with Faderport (native)? Thanks..
Hmmm... Didn't know there was another Mackie HUI control device. Seems
kinda strange that Mackie would sign on with something that that wasn't
universal in this type of equiment. I've had mine for a couple of years and
if memory serves me right I had to download a firmware update for it to talk
to Audition (2.0 at the time). I updated the firmware and away it went. I
use it with both Audition and Cubase software and am quite pleased with it.
Sometimes I guess it would nice to just be like the Russians - we'd only
have one of something that way. It might not work, but we'd all have the
same thing.

"DBSL does not support extended connect protocol" while configuring SSFS
Hi, I'm trying to configure ssfs on ERP EHP7 on HANA Database system. Doing it with this guide - SSFS Implementation for Oracle Database
But when I'm trying to test connection with r3trans I got following error in the log:
4 ETW000 [ dev trc,00000] read_con_info_ssfs(): DBSL does not support extended connect protocol
4 ETW000 ==> ssfs won't be used 26 0.004936
I already updated DBSL_LIB to the latest version, but it doesn't help.
Here is full log:

BFHi,
Thanks for trying to use Firefox for android. We didn't get the tablet version finished for the release, but you can download the unstable version from http://nightly.mozilla.org until it is totally ready. Note that you'll need to enable installation of non-market apps and updates will not be automatic.
Best regards,

I own a mackie Hui. It was released in 1997. I have not been able to find much information about it working with adobe audition. I know adobe uses mackie control however the hui works diffrent. I was hoping to find an update file Adobe or someone has made a plugin that lets me use it in adobe audition 3. Im sure someone has done this as adobe released the sdk to help with development. So if anyone can shine the light on me id be one happy camper! Thanks.
Brian
Thanks for writing. The HUI will not work with Adobe Audition. It is not a driver that you would require it is a control surface protocol that would need to be programmed into the software application. Since Adobe has only programmed there software to work with the Mackie Control protocol the software has no way to communicate with the HUI.
Hope this can help

The MySQL client that the error refers to isn't the version
of MySQL,
but the MySQL library bundled with PHP. It sounds as though
your hosting
company has upgraded to MySQL 4.1 or higher, but is still
using PHP 4.
> I'm not sure how to edit the connection string to make
it accept the vaules.
You can't. It's the way that the user account passwords are
stored in
MySQL. You need to get the hosting company to upgrade to PHP
5 or to
reset the passwords in MySQL using the OLD_PASSWORD()
function. This
needs to be done by someone with top-level administrative
privileges on
the database.

TFTP, Protocol does not support listing directories
Hi everyone,
I am trying to install patch for PI 1.4 because of the browser problem. I have downloaded the patch.
I also have read the post https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-26972#comment-22434 and followed the steps described.
I created repository and try to make the tftp server's root directory into the repository, as u can see in the picture below. Is it correct? Because when I want to display the file contain in the repository, the error message shown "Protocol does not support listing directories", what does it mean?
Thanks.Here's another way:::
1) From your PC launch a CMD Prompt
2) CD to the directory where the patch is installed
3) ftp xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (this is the IP address of the NCS/PI server)
4) login as ftp-user
5) enter the password created during the install of NCS/PI for the ftp user account (if you don’t know it, you can change it by entering
ncs password ftpuser ftp-user password
6) type bin then press return
7) type hash then press return
8) type put
9) login to the CLI of the NCS/PI server as an admin user
10) type dir disk:ftp and you’ll see the file stored in the /localdisk/ftp directory on the disk
11) if you don’t have a repo pointing to disk:ftp then create one using
a) config t
b) repository localftp
c) url disk:/ftp
d) exit
12) type ncs stop
13) type patch install localftp
Note: if a PC firewall is enabled, you may have to disable it in order to get the file transfer to work -

Does LabVIEW support the SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol)?
I looked at LabVIEW 2014 online help for some info on SNMP.
A problem was posted in 1996 and updated in 2008.
Does LabVIEW Support the SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol)?
http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/4CD3625A939A77DE852564050047D3BD
This was addressed to LabVIEW version 4.
What version are we up to now?
Version 14?
One solution offered was to get the SNMP VI from Viodia.
Why should I have to spend another $1,000 for a VI from Viodia after spending $5,000 for LabVIEW Professional?
Come on National Instruments, offer up SNMP to go with your professional package.
There seems to be a lot of chatter about SNMP on the forums.
I’m sure a lot of customers would be happy to have an official LabVIEW VI for SNMP.I find it unreasonable to expect that LabVIEW supports out of the box every network protocol that has ever been invented under the sun. You may find SNMP to be the most important protocol on the world but for most programmers it is a niche protocol that they may have heard of but never will happen to come across in their applications. It's in fact pretty low level for a very specific purpose of managing network connected resources.
On the other hand it is not rocket science either so can be implemented by someone with enough determination on top of the native network interface functions in LabVIEW. Is it a lot of work? Yes, you bet! Is it worth 1000 bucks! If you really need it and your own work hours cost anything more than a few cents per hour, most probably too! If you can live with an implementation that is supporting many but not all features of SNMP, the link on LAVAG is a very good and nice one.

Does sge 2010 support Routing Information Protocol (RIP) ?
Hi, I would like to know if the sge2010 switch support Routing Information Protocol (RIP) and if so how do I enable it. I have a small wireless router that support it and would like client connected on it te bo visible from the wan side and that worked when I had another device doing the routing with RIP support the wireless router was picking up that information and the routing for the wireless client was working.
Thanks !thanks, thats a shame that a 80$ wireless router support that function and a 1000$+ switch doesn't

This should be considered a temporary fix. It will saturate your Internet connection during periods of WSUS downloads in this configuration.
The correct and permanent fix should be to resolve the failure of your perimeter device to properly support the HTTP v1.1 protocol specification (which is now some 14 years old).
Either your device is misconfigured, or it needs a firmware update to support the full specification.

Does GNOKII support smpp protocol?
I read that smslib does not support
smpp protocol .....so I want to
know does GNOKII support smpp
protocol?Hi,
From what I understand optomux is a standard that determines the syntax of the command sent. The commands are sent through serial or Ethernet. You can use LabVIEW (the VISA VIs) to communicate with a device using serial or Ethernet. However, there are no VIs that will build the optomux commands.
I'm not familiar with them, but you can check out the optomux VIs included with the Fieldpoint explorer. That should give you an idea of how to use the VISA to implement optomux communication.

Does LabVIEW support Mobile and Wireless Protocols?
Does LabVIEW support these protocols;
3G GSM PHS
4G HCSD TACS
CDMA HSDPA TDMA
CDMA2000 iDEN TD-SCDMA
EV-DO Mobitex UMTS
FDMA NMT WCDMA
GAN PCS WiDEN
GPRS PDC WiMAX
If it does (some or all) of these protocols, what do I need to install to get VIs supporting these protocols (I mean which packag/ toolkit etc contians supporting VIs/ functions etc)?
Thanks for your help!
Have a very pleasant day! Most of these protocals are OS-supported. LabVIEW doesn't have lower level interface VIs.
For instance LabVIEW doesn't build a TCP/IP stream with header and stuff, the OS TCP/IP stack deals with that stuff.
For testing the quality of such network there are special hardware (most PXI) and software solutions.
What is it that you want to achieve?

Does jmf support rtsp protocol?
i wanna know does jmf support rtsp protocol? now, i play an video(rtsp://localhost/test.avi) by JMStudio, but failed(Controller Error: Failed to realize).
Anybody can give me some suggestion on how to solve this problem?
I also know whether i can implement rtsp protocol by jmf? thanks in advance!Hi,
From what I understand optomux is a standard that determines the syntax of the command sent.

Does FDF support https protocols?
Does FDF support https protocols? If so, what type of encryption? Are there any other options to support form data to an https server? Thanks in advance!
Thanks for your quick answer! I'm trying to learn some things to tell some tech people they're wrong and overcomplicating would could be an easy answer. I want people to be able to pull up a form on the internet anywhere in the world, but submit it to a secure server, i.e. https.
I take it from your answer that I can't use FDF to submit it to an https server? Or, when you say "HTML" does that include https?
When you say the entire PDF using HTTPS (SSL), do you mean via a webmail or web email that uses https? My intent is to have my person in another city just click an easy button to submit the form without having to save a copy to their computer and manually upload it to a new https webpage. That's why I liked this FDF option.
