Does ayone know anything about the acclaimed Intel imacs?

Apperently there is a new intel imac coming soon. The thing is I want an imac for christmas but I am not sure if its worth waiting for this new intel one. Plus if the new intel imacs would work with frutiy loops (a windows music programe).

We are not allowed to speculate on these forums beyond what Apple has officially publicised. All we officially know is that 2006 is the target year for these Intel Macs. There are Mac rumour sites on the internet that speculate on these issues, with variable accuracy. All I can say is that the current iMac is a fab computer - it looks great and the new features are a real boost from the previous version. The 2.1GHz G5 is a good strong processor, that combined with a good graphics card should be a good investment. Only you can decide if you can wait an unknown period (could be more than a year) until the new Intel version comes out. It could be even longer before you feel happy investing in the new technology, maybe you would like a model pre-installed with OS 10.5 - but can you wait until 2007?
I always recommend against delaying a purchase because of future technology: if you need new technology now then buy and enjoy, you will get a good few years from the current G5.

What patch are you referring to? I could be wrong, but I do not believe any such "patch" exists.
The only change to the iPhone4's design since it was released last June is that it is now available in white.

I watched a tutorial indicating
you could 'sign in' when using the organizer and I cannot find this function.

Signing in to Photoshop.com from within PSE lets you sync your photos with Photoshop.com directly from PSE. Signing in to Photoshop.com doesn't affect your use of other online services like Flickr, Smugmug, etc.
If you use Photoshop.com only occasionally and don't want to resolve the sign-in problem, you can export the photos you want to upload from the PSE Organizer using File > Export. Then you can use the Photoshop.com uploader to upload them directly.

I am doing some research about the benefits of using a Q R Code type of system, but question which handheld sets would be more compatible for using that type of barcode. Being a avid Apple supporter, I cannot seem to find very much research on this specific topic.

I am wondering about my iTunes account, I heard a whole album was free to everybody with an iTunes account. I apparently got the whole album downloaded into my iTunes account without even realizing it, and it charged me money, so I'm wondering can I get my money back for free because I got charged when this album got downloaded to my iTunes. The album was by U2, and I didn't want to get it or even get charged the money for it, so I'm wondering about this, can someone answer me about this if you know anything about it, thank you.

My imac is 2 years old now and im wondering about defragmenting the hard drive and I found Mackeeper and I am wondering if anyone knows anything about it, or if it is even necesary

I found a old Apple walkman it's 5 1/2 tall, 3" wide and 1 1/4 deep. It has AM FM radio and it has a mic you can push if someone is talking to you. No speaker it only works with headphones. It has a FCC ID BRA 8ZV SAFS-107 Shinning Made in Hong Kong on the back Does anyone know what year apple came out with it or any other information about it.

USB wireless adapters are usually problematic since they require drivers that are often incompatible with OS X or are compatible with only a few versions of OS X.

If you mean that you see a computer under the Shared column in the Finder, it doesn't necessary mean that they are connected to your computer. It means that nathanjr's computer is able to connect with you if you wish. Now, if you see this in your own home network or something that most likely means you're network is not protected by a password and everyone can use it.

System Preferences > File Sharing. Enable/Disable as you feel fit. Have you considered the possibility that it's nathanjr who has his File Sharing enabled? In which case there is not much you can do unless you find and ask him to disable his sharing. Or you can simply toggle the Shared section in the Sidebar. Out of site, out of mind.

When openning itunes, I get a message saying I need to reinstall itunes if I want to burn cds. I already tried removing and installing lates itunes version but does not help. Does anybody know anything about fixing this issue?

I cannot burn cds from itunes. Every time I open itunes i get a message indicating i need to reinstall itunes. I have already done so but it's not working. I still cant burn cds. Does anybody know how i can fix this? My windows media player burns cds just fine.

I am having this same issue with Windows XP. The exact message that I get everytime that I open iTunes is :
The registry settings used by the iTunes drivers forimporting and burning CDs and DVDs are missing. This can happen as a result of installing other CD burning software. Please reinstall iTunes. I have deleted and reinstalled iTunes three times. I also have a problem with iTunes randomly opening itself.

One way to test is to Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for problem in Safe Mode...
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive
Reboot, test again.
If it only does it in Regular Boot, then it could be some hardware problem like Video card, (Quartz is turned off in Safe Mode), or Airport, or some USB or Firewire device, or 3rd party add-on, Check System Preferences>Accounts>Login Items window to see if it or something relevant is listed.
Check the System Preferences>Other Row, for 3rd party Pref Panes.
Also look in these if they exist, some are invisible...

I recently transferred some photos from an old ipad to a new ipad using the app "simpletransfer", all of the photos that transfered however, saved into my photostream and turned my photostream on. does anyone know anything about this app because i have no

other idea as to how the photos i transferred ended up on my photo stream, which i had initially turned off.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Photo stream simply synchronises your photos between all your devices. If you don't want to use it, disable it at settings > iCloud, it won't affect any photos in your camera roll.

I was hoping someone here could advise me as to whether there are REAL benefits from using a private VPN service? I understand there is a little slow down utilizing a VPN but I'm sick of every website, my ISP and Tom, Dick and Harry knowing what I'm doing or so it seems.
I'm looking into Hotspot Shield from AnchorFree. This service was rated best in a couple of reviews plus it has apps for iPhone and iPad and my kids Android phones. Plus at 4.99/month or 29.95/year with no bandwidth caps seems a no brainer.
I have nothing to hide but I believe I or we in this country have a right to our privacy. These location based ads starting to come through are terrible. FYI, I do use Ghostery and ADBlock in some form in all browsers. Hope somebody can provide some useful info. Thanks in advance.

In that case, why worry? If you live in the USA (post "Patriot Act") the government can find out anything it wants about individuals. If you are concerned about web sites gathering data (they do of course, for marketing reasons), block cookies.
