Does BALANCE allow roaming when in BIZ mode and Non Roaming when in personal mode
So my daughter has a question...she has 2 BB9900's - one for work, one for personal use...
So when I explained how BALANCE should allow her to have 1 phone for both ...she came back with this question...
How and who covers the roaming charges, etc?
When she travels globally, her work wants her phone on and available..but she doesn't have her personal BB9900 on roaming so as to avoid all the extra data billing...thus 2 phones...
Does the new BALANCE allow for the separation such that the work side would still be on roaming settings? while the personal was off...???
Is there somewhere this is fully detailed...as she hesitates to make the step over...

Boot Camp Assistant does not allow partiton when my disk is the right format - (Mac OS Extended (Journaled) volume).
When I go to the Boot Camp Assistant to partition the Macintosh HD disk, an error comes up saying,
"The disk cannot be partitioned because some files cannot be moved
Back up the disk and use Disk Utility to format it as a single Mac OS Extended (Journaled) volume. Restore your information to the disk and try using Boot Camp Assistant again."
Please help me out! I would really appreciate it!I was not allowed the Repair Disk option. I tryed Verify Disk, and an error came up saying,
"The volume Macintosh HD was found corrupt and needs to be repaired.

When you purchase extra cloud storage, does that allow more storage for music, apps, and so forth to be downloaded?
So only documents? it doesnt store pictures, videos, or any of that stuff? or it doesnt store settings to your applications? I just want to know how exactly iCloud can effectively help me with storage because I only have a 16 gb ipod 4s. I have already decided I will not download any music onto it or videos

I have tried to install icloud 4.0 for windows and again is does not allow syncing with outlook 2013 calendar and contact, using windows 8.1 and IOS 8.02 (get - unexpected error)?
Having same issues. had been syncing every few days with outlook 2007 contacts and calendar but since updated to 4.0.2 and latest itunes I get an error that it is unable to sync. I can't seem to find any solution.

Most of your queries has been answered by Jurgen.
1)Does valuated or non valuated is linked with valuation type? yes ..if the material is valuated then only there is valuation type.It is used for split valuation .
2)Where can I see whether material is valuated on plant or not?
to check the valuation level IMG >Enterprise Structure>Definition>Logistics - General>Define valuation level
and to check value and quantity updation at plant level check
IMG >Logistics - General>Material Master>Basic Settings>Material Types-->Define Attributes of Material Types
3)Case1
I want material A to be valuated at the plant without split valuation
Case
I want material B to have 0 value at plant
go as Jurgen has recommanded in the previous post . for material B used different material type which is not valuated at that plant .

Adobe customer portal site does not allow me to choose my product and coninue
How can I contact Adobe Support when I get the below screen with the continue button greyed out? It does not allow me to choose my own product "Captivate" or any other one.

I also have some more challenges:
When I email the support email address for Africa I get no response.
When I change my region to Africa it defaults back to USA.
I am in the process of buying a multi user licence for the entire Adobe suite for my company "MTN South Africa" and is concerend about the above in case we need support from Adobe. Using the USA server is incredibly slow and we waste a lot of time opening the forums, knowlege base etc. I just timed it by clicking on the "support" link and it takes 26 secpnds to open. You can imagine wating half a minute when you navigate through the forumes, help files. support etc.

My new ipad mini will not let me switch between modes when using the built in camera app. It is stuck on Video mode. I am unable to take photos, although I could when I first used it. Could this be a fault with the pad or with the new 7.0.4 update? Can anyone help please?
Have you tried to force quit the app? Double tap the home button. Scroll sideways if needed to see the icon and preview for the camera app. Flip that app up and off the screen to close it then single tap on the home screen preview or single tap the home button to exit the mode.
Try your camera app again and see if you can switch modes.
When you switch modes, you do have to drag the words, not just tap on the video word, if that makes any sense. When you try to go from video to photo, do you try to drag the photo word to the front? -
Time capsule does not allow me to select bridge mode or manual setup
I've got an Aztech combined router and modem. I have disabled its wireless feature, and from what I have read, understand that I need to set up the Time capsule in manual mode in order to have a bridge connection (?). I've reset the TC several times, but the manual setup option or the bridge connection option does not seem to be available. I can backup fine, but want to use the router facility given the price I paid! If I try to edit the router mode with the TC already setup, the option to change it is greyed out (DHCP & NAT)
Bit of a novice at these things, so any help greatly appreciated!You need to make sure your ISP supports pppoe as a method of authentication.. if so then you must bridge the Aztech modem.. so it no longer handles the connection.. look up the manual for the modem to find out how to do this.
With the modem bridged.. reset the TC and the airport utility should recognise that it is now needing to run in router mode.. you are running Lion or ML and v6 utility has no manual setup.. it auto sets bridge. You need to force it to router.. but by default from reset the TC will be router.. you then need to setup pppoe client.. have no idea how to do that in v6 utility.. I am pleased to say!!
If you run lion.. download and install the v5.6 utility.. then all your troubles will go away.. it is a tool.. rather than Lion version being a toy utility.

Since upgrading to Firefox 4 I no longer have the option to organize bookmarks. Also when I start to type a website and I click on the suggestions that appear as I start to type... they do not appear in the space where I have started to type. This did not happen with my previous verion of Firefox. Everything worked perfectly.
Thank you Tony E... it did solve my book mark problem... but do you know why Foxfire 4 does not fill in websites they suggests to the area where I start to type in a search.
For instance I might start to type in Firefox to indicate that I want to go to the Firefox web site. But before I start to finish typing Fir... a box pop up with the suggestion Firefox. If I click on this suggestion it should fill the area I am typing and take me to the Firefox web site.
Unfortunately it does not do this now... they way it used to do before... in the older version of Firefox. -
Why does't my Audio Bible have Chapter Selection in the new music update on my IPad.
It worked perfectly before but now I can not select the chapters?Because Apple has inexplicably removed support for audiobook chapters in its iOS 5.0 music player on iPad. It makes no sense, but that's what they did. Hopefully it'll return in a future update.

Sending email using WiFi while away or not on your home ISP?
If so many, if not all, ISPs block sending email using SMTP (Simple Mail Transport Protocol) servers that are not theirs. The solution, if your personal ISP provides this, is to use both SMTP Authentication (SMTP Auth) and/or an alternate port. See this example of how I have my iPod Touch (4G) setup to use both with my normal Cox HSI ISP SMTP email server.

This configuration allows me to send email while connected to any ISP when I travel around town or the country using Cox HSI email servers.
If your ISP does not provide either SMTP Auth and/or an alternate SMTP Port then you could...

In the old pages you could simply copy the thumbnail and past a certain page into a different document.
The new pages does not allow you to do this.That and 95 other things it does not let you do.
Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder, use that instead.
