Does big file attachment in email mailbox affect p...

I have recently boughtE51.In its useguide on mail for exchange I have read that do not keep your mail box big and loaded with big file attachments as synchronising these emails will effect phone efficiency.
I am not using mail for exchange but using default in built mailbox facility. So now can these big file attached ( upto 10 MB) email will affect my phone efficiency if they are synchronised?

Amit same question also stuck my mind.I use mail for exchange but want to set up mailbox like you.Just wait to see if some expert answers.

  • Send Files - attach to email filename

I have dynamic page rendered by asp.net. Let's call it ShowPDF.aspx - it renders PDF file to output. I would like to ask regarding functionality for sending files directly from Adobe Reader X (Tools > Send Files > Attach to Email). The name of the attached file is prefilled to ShowPDF.aspx.
Can it be changed to any other values? How is the value calculated? Can it be influenced by any http header?
    Thanks a lot

Drag or export it from iPhoto to the desktop, and if needed, drag that file to the Preview icon in the Dock, choose Export from the File menu, and specify JPEG as the format.

  • Problem with loading of a big file attached message

I am in holidays and I do not have here my fast DSL-connection, but only the internal 56-k-Modem from my laptop. Someone had sent me a message including a big file. I want to load this message but everytime I try, it stops loading before this message is arrived in my mailbox. Now it blocks all the other messages just to download. What can I do? Can anybody help me. A big THANKS in advance!

Since you have a laptop, go to some location that has free wireless. Download the mail from there.

  • Attachment to email does not stay attached when email is forwarded - HELP

I recieved an email that had a pdf attachment and when I forwarded the email, the attachment was no longer there?
Is there something I need to do to keep the pdf attachment with the forwarded email - I also have to do this with tiff attachments.
Please help me fix this. Do I need some app that I don't have yet?

Hi.  I am sorry you are having issues forwarding emails with an attachment and I can certainly help you from here.   Does this happen when you forward any type of attachment or is it just PDF attachments?  Are you forwarding this from your Gmail email account?   Does the recipient of the email get the email and just not the attachment?
    Waiting on your reply
    Thanks!

  • Unable to open a .wav file attached to email.

When I click on an attached .wav file in an email it launches a player of some sort, appears to load the file, then displays the error "There was an error playing the file."
According to the tech. specs, .wav files are supposed to be compatible.
    Anyone have any ideas?
Post relates to: Pre p100eww (Sprint)

I was able to play a WAV sent to me via email. I have Vonage and it sends voicemails to my email as WAV files; these files work fine for me.

  • No support for text files attached in emails

I was shocked to discover that a simple RTF (Rich Text File) is not supported by iPhone. I was sent a small attachment as a text file and was unable to open it. Surely something as simple as a text file attachment should be easy to display.
Come on Apple, lets get working on version 1.1

    fixed in later OS

  • Reader File attach to Email

My gut tells me its a Reader problem trying to start email.

  • IPhone 3G does not display attachment in email

There is no better way to describe it. I received an email from Nimbuzz and I can't see the attachment. It just does not appear... And there is most definitely an attachment. I also don't see another file in its place, like the "Winmail.dat" file described by Apple in their support sections. Just nothing appears except for the text of the email. I have sent the very same attachment from another email address and it works fine. What could be wrong?

WOW. So many of us! And to think that I was worried that I was being stupid for posting this problem. I don't know why though because I look stupid on a regular basis... I'm sure they will get to this problem before long.
I'd bet that the team sits in meetings with huge lists of issues and decides which are the most critical issues that they can address (and resolve), given limited resources, in the time frame that they have been given before the next release. And actually, they are doing very well based on what we got with 2.1.
Seriously folks. Apple has done some amazing work in the past years to which we owe kudos for huge industry altering technology leaps. But instead we stick to the negative and beat down on the team gutsy enough to lead the charge. Have we been spoiled and come to expect too much from the company? Maybe? Are we acting like spoiled children with all our non-constructive ********? Maybe. I'm grateful myself and here is why:
    I use my phone for:
    tunes in my car
    watching movies at night
    games when i'm bored
surfing the web to find anything i need
maps with directions to find my way
entertainment for kids with light sabers and animal sounds
remote controls for all kinds of stuff
a phone for work and family
audio books so I don't have to read
so many apps i have 7 home screens
    and more good stuff everyday!
    Peace!

  • Word files attached in email are not recognised

i have sent some word documents through yahoo email. when downloading the files in another computer (windows), the word files are not recognised and did not have an 'extension name' (if thats what they are called) such as ' .doc '
I have set the computer (windows) to show the extension name, but the downloaded files did not have one.
When opening the email using my iphone, it did not work as my iphone did not recognise the file type and said 'Mail cannot open this attachment'.
    Please help!

    Thanks for the reply.
Well status as of now is :
<b>GUI</b> : I am able to attach documents in BP properly. However after the documents are attached, when I try to open the attachment, it is not opening .txt files. Surprisingly it opens .Doc, .ppt, .xls & .pdf documents
<b>PCUI</b> :  I am able to attach the documents properly.
However when I open the document, it is not opening any type of file. I click on attached document icon and it just does not do anything. I mean no window pop-up or anything like that.
By the way what exactly do I need to do in SICF transaction ? Can you please elaborate.
    Thanks

  • Watching wmv files attached to emails

I would like to watch the wmv files emailed to me as attachments on my iPhone. I loaded "WMV Player" app but it is requesting the directory of where these files are kept. Does anyone have a work-a-round to access wmv files emailed as attachments on the iPhone?

I just checked the info about this app via the App Store, and I found now indication that the app provides for viewing WMV files sent as an email attachment. This was copied from the developer's website.
Browse your favourite websites using the app’s fully functional web browser – if the website contains video files, click on the video you want to watch – and if the video file is in wmv format the app will download and play it through the iPhone’s media player - its that simple!
There is no workaround for this. WMV is a Microsoft closed proprietary format. Microsoft formally provided and supported a Windows Media Player app for OS X on a Mac, but they discontinued doing so many moons ago. To view WMV files received as an email attachment on a Mac, or video provided via WMV on a website which isn't very common in my experience, you need to download a 3rd party player called Flip4Mac.
Since Microsoft doesn't support Windows Media Player with OS X on a Mac and hasn't for a very long time, I doubt they will be providing a Windows Media Player app via the app store for an iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. Unless Flip4Mac decides to do this, you won't be able to view WMV files sent as an email attachment.

  • Xml file attachment in email

I'm trying to attach a piece of XML in an email. In 10.1.2 this works ok; I used orcl:get-content-as-string(bpws:getVariableData('OutputVariable','RELATIONS')) and put that into the ContentBody of an email.
In 10.1.3.1 this does not work anymore.
orcl:get-content-as-string is no longer available so I used ora:getContentAsString instead. So far so good.
I also had to use a mime type of text/html because with text/xml I get java.io.IOException: Unable to write XML attachment java.lang.String and java.lang.ClassCastException: java.lang.String errors allthough BPEL Console does not show an error.
With mime type text/html I get an email with an attachment but the content of the XML is not escaped; a tag like <NAME>John & Jack</NAME> should be <NAME>John &amp;amp; Jack</NAME>
does anyone have a clue or a solution that works in 10.1.3.1

    Hi
There is a bug : 6083186 logged on the same issue.
