  • Does Tecra M4 supports SDHC cards?

    Hi
Do anyone know if the the SD slot in Tecra M4 support SDHC card or not?
I do not want to waste my money to buy and test a card.
    Thanks a lot

What does the user manual says?
    Did you check it?
I checked it and it looks like the slot supports only the SD cards up to 4GB.
Therefore the usage of SDHC card should be not possible. Ohh wait its possible but you would need to connect an external card reader which supports such cards.

  • Does SmartTouch TX2 1010ea support SDHC card?

Hi, anyone know if SmartTouch TX2 1010ea model support SDHC card officially? The maintenance and service guide has no mention of it
5-in-1 Digital Media Slot, supports SD, MMC, MS, MSpro, and xD. With adapter
(not included), supports mini versions of SD, MMC, and MS Duo.
But I did able to read my 4GB SDHC card, however it sometimes crash the Win7. I am not sure if it's Win7's problem or the card reader's problem.

  • Does the MacBook Air 2012 supports SDXC Cards?

Does the MacBook Air 2012 supports SDXC Cards?
    Thx

Hi! How are you? The reason why I'm here is to find out more about SDXC support/compatibility info on the macbook air 2012 and how to fix this nagging issue if it's fixable.
I had just bought a Sandisk extreme pro 64GB rated at 95mb/s for my Nikon DSLR. Unfortunately, MBA struggles to detect or mount my card, after a few sweats, it would mount, but then very slow to process and preview the images as "Thumbnail preview". Then, after a few more sweats, you can scroll through the thumbnails smoothly.
Streaming HD videos straight from the SD Slot is butcher chopping the beef. Video lags, stutters, chops, in otherwords, USELESS and a pain in the neck. So you just want to copy all the files to your macbook, and play from there. Copying files from SDXC to my macbook takes forever; writing is also another issue that take much more than forever!
I have a top of the line macbook air 2012 (i7, 8GB, 512) and I always thought it's a versatile reliable computer but now I'm very disappointed. On the other hand, doing the same things on my macbook pro 2010 is seamless. I also tested on my windows 8 desktop to be flawless as well.
Therefore, the memory card is not the problem. It's macbook air's sd slot that's a failure. I never thought spending $2,199 for a super computer would make me stress like this. In addition, the magsafe 2 is another failure in design. It always disconnects just by moving my macbook air from one spot of the table to another. Having it charged while on my lap gets on my nerves when it keeps getting disconnected! I hate Apple for doing this. If only there was a Windows notebook that surpasses Apple's design, I would never EVER buy Apple products EVER again.

  • My Satellite A100 does not support SDHC cards with the internal card reader

    Hi,
My satelite A100 does not support my sandisk 4 GB SDHC card.
"normal" SD cards are not a problem with the internal card reader, and there are no problems with the sandisk 4 GB SDHC card using a external card reader.
    is there a software solution?
    regrads,
    Itock

I do not have time to read users manuals for your notebook model but all supported cards can be listed there. I suppose SDHC is not listed and not supported.
I do not know what you mean with software solution but, as far as I know, update for multimedia card reader is not available.

  • Does the Sdxc slot for mac supports Sdhc cards?

I only find Sdhc cards with 16 GB or 8 GB which is more or less the size I need/want.  The Sxdc cards are huge like 64 GB wich I don't need, and of course, they're much more expensive
I know Sdxc and Sdhc cards are the same size, but that's not enought when It comes to hardware compatibleness.

    Yes it does....
Only difference is the SDXC ( Secure Digital Extended Capacity)  32GB - 128GB and SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) 8GB to 32GB.
Other than that, no issues.  They will work in your slot.  I'm using both.

  • Satellite M110 PSMBOA - Does it read 8GB or 16GB SDHC cards

Does anyone know if this model with Windows XP home SP3 can read SDHC cards in particular 8GB or 16GB SD cards?
Or does anyone know if there is a driver update or firmwire update that will allow this card reader to read these types of cards
    thanks

    Hi
What does the user manual said?
    Did you check this?
For me it looks like Toshiba Australian notebook series.
I searched in the manual which Ive found on the Toshiba Australian page and it says that these cards are supported:
    *SD* 8MB, 16MB, 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, 2GB
    *MMC* 8MB, 16MB, 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB
    *MS* 8MB, 16MB, 32MB, 64MB, 128MB
    *MS Pro* 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, 4GB
    *xD* 16MB, 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, 2GB
As you see the SDHC cards are NOT supported.

  • Does anyone's iMac read the SDHC cards?

My iMac will read SD cards, but the new type SDHC card is not read. If your iMac does, what reader do you use? I have an older reader for multiple different cards.
I used to have a 4G SD card which the older reader and the iMac would input. The card broke so I bought a SDHC 4G card and the iMac does not read it.
I wonder if I buy a SDHC card reader/USB that the iMac will 'see' the SDHC card?

The older PPC-based early LCD iMac 1 GHz PowerPC G4, 1 GB ram Mac OS X (10.4.11)
of the OP is a bit different in vintage hardware and design, without a built-in reader.
{Most other references between a newer twice-removed model iMac based on Intel chips
and other improvements, is something to consider in this thread. And that makes the link
    provided not applicable to the computer in question.}
The newer external card reader should be adequate to resolve this issue, since the OS X
version should be capable to handle the data once the reader is upgraded. I'd hold off on
any changes in the system software, since the reader should plug & play. The last thing I
do is add software that came with some peripheral, when my system is otherwise fine.
{If the card in question is used in relation to a camera, for awhile, one can just plug the
    camera into the Mac and use that to read the card. I rarely use a card reader with mine;
    since the DSLR and other digital cameras transfer fast enough & with little battery loss.}
    Good luck & happy computing!

  • Does Compaq Presario CQ42 series support Graphics card?

I have laptop Compaq Presario CQ42-160TU. It doesn't have Graphics card in it. I am running Windows 7 in it. I want to install Nvidia graphics card in it. Does  this model support it?
    Thanks,
    Mohit Khandelwal
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

It has a graphics card or it would not show anything on the screen. It is just an "integrated" card not very good for games. Sorry to say you cannot add anything ese. The graphics chip is soldered to the board. And there is no expansion slot for a video card or any other place to put one.

  • Does 10.5 Leopard not support express card well enough?

I've just bought my new Gizz express card reader today and after I've try it with my 2.2 MBP , found that it causes me a lot of problem such as Kernel Panic, Airport Lost, Hang, Sleep without waking.
I've read others topic and there are plenty of the problem from using express card so I think express card is not support (well) now for 10.5.

I'm not familiar with this brand, errin, but was it sold as Mac compatible?
Sonnet - http://www.sonnettech.com/product/memorycardreaderwritere34.html - and Griffin - http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/expressreader - both make card readers that are said to be compatible with Mac / OSX 10.5

  • Does the dv6911us support SHDC Cards?

    Hi,
I just got given a dv6911us to fix up.  It's out of warranty so I can't get anything from HP support.
I've loaded it with Window 7 32-bit and used the Vista 32-bit drivers for any missing ones.
So far it's all good and surprisingly responsive.
Anyways, my question is does it support SDHC cards?  I know it's a Ricoh R5C853 device but Ricoh just says SD.
I want to put in an 8GB SDHC card for ready boost.  Microsoft recommend 1-2.5 x RAM, which is 3GB, so 8GB seems a good amount.  I tried a 1GB SanDisk Extreme III card and it worked well.
    Thanks for the help.
    Cheers,
    Nigel

  • How can I read a SDHC card on my iMac version 10.6.8

I have been able to import the old SD versions, using the port on the side of my keyboard. The same reader does not work with the new SDHC card.

Check your Readers class, see > Secure Digital - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
If it's to old, then you will need a newer one. > usb card readers - Google Search
