Does Cloud or local version play when conencted to the Internet?

I am considering subscribing to Match and wonder how it deals with music I have ripped from a CD at a bit rate of 128 in former day when local device storage was more of an issue. If I am connected to the net will the song play from the cloud at 256 even though there is a local copy on the device? Do the satus icons show me which matched songs actually have higher quality copies in the cloud that I could download for improved playback quality when offline? In other words, can Match help me systematically improve the quality of my local music collection?

when you turn itunes match on a device (iphone, ipad, ipod touch) it cannot have any music synced to it so the song u would be playing would be streaming or downloading would come from the cloud, on your computer your local version will play, you can however delete your original and it will grey out and leave a cloud icon allowing you to download the matched version or re download your uploaded one, so u can upgrade your library, but be wary sometimes an album wont be fully matched like 12/15 tracks matched even though they are all in the itunes store, so that may be an issue, also listen to the track before you replace it, i made the mistake of replacing a bulk of my music before i did and i ended up with clean/different versions of my songs and my original was gone

Try giving permission to Lightroom folder under
/Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe
Steps
Click on Finder and on the menu bar ( top side the of the screen) click on Go > Go to,folder
In the window type exactly ~/Library and click on Go
Open Application Support > Adobe and right click on Lightroom folder and select get info
Under sharing and permission Click on lock and unlock it
Click on + add your current user name and administrator if not added
Then give Read and Write permission for Admin, system, everyone and (your user name)
Click on gear icon and choose apply to enclosed item
Then Click on Lock
Launch Lightroom and check.

I just got a Macbook Pro three weeks ago, and it is already freezing up on me. What is wrong with it? Also, the battery life does not extend to 7 hours when connected to the internet. Is there something wrong with my computer, or is this normal?

This is usually a sign that your headphones are not plugged all the way in. Make sure the white part of the headset is flush with the body of the Nano and no silver from the plug can still be seen.
If you are 100% positive that the earbuds are all the way in, double check to make sure the headphone jack is clean and clear of debris and/or damage.

I opened the movie in QuickTime player and save it for the web. I pasted what was required...

from the information you provided i can't tell if it is a hardware problem or a software problem. I do have an idea though, try to press your home button and lock button at the same time.

that used to happen to me all the time! I would recommend going to a different sight or attempting to download it again ( you may have missed a step it can be tricky).

Doulbe tab the home key to see the task bar. Touch and hold any of those icons until they jiggle, then delete them by touching the minus sign. Then reboot the pad by holding the sleep and home buttons until the apple logo appears. Ignore the red slider.
You either have another app open that is using the camera, or you just have too much stuff in memory. The reset process should clear it up.

When I "share" to DVD the file is transcoded. When it reaches 66% it starts to "finishing", but the process stops and does not proceed beyond 66%. When I stop the sharing process I receive the following message "the share operation dvd has failed".

The handshake between FCP and a hidden app called Create Disk wasn't completed.
Try this. Select a short range and Share>DVD. In Output Settings. set it to Hard Drive to save as a disk image. (Save to your Desktop so you can find it.) For menu Background, click the Add button, then cancel. That is often enough to wake up the disk burning part of this process. If it makes a disk image, try a physical disk.
