processing export cammands (like exporting a report to PDF) on a web server when using the .NET setup? If so, what authorities on what folder(s)?

In a nut shell; yes. The report is broken up into a number of temp files and these are used for the actual processing of the report. In order for these files to be usable, the worker process needs read / write permissions on the temp folder.

Why does the site manager create c:\ folders for files that don't belong to the site via FTP?

Hello everyone,
now I've been using Dreamweaver since Ultradev 1.0 and I have just recently upgraded to CS 5.5 Web Edition. Before that I used CS3. I've allways been very satisfied with Macromedia and Adobe products until now
Now I don't know whats happened in the last few years but I am getting the impression that the quality of Dreamweaver used to be alot more stable.
Developing for more than half my life I understand that bugs are usual and that not everything can be cared for, but to be quite honest I also know that there are bugs that just should not happen when you ship a product.
On the other hand I do love some of the enhancements that have come with 5.5, for example the Javascript Framework integration and jQuery code hinting features but what I really cannot understand is why the heck is Dreamweaver automatically uploading files that do not belong to the currently open site to the ftp server? I cannot think of any scenario in which this would be appropriate behaviour. I'd understand it if the files somehow contained links (CSS, JS, PHP, etc.) to the currently open site, but they don't! Dreamweaver simply sets out, every now and again, to creating a totally "dumb" folder structure on my ftp servers when I open a file from outside of the site - which I do very often to copy code I used in other projects.
It's just frustrating having to cleanup the ftp servers because Dreamweaver created folders like this "c:\localhost_root_folder\client_folder\client_project_folder\www\.... and so on", and saves a file in there that has nothing to do with the currently open site.
Now I've looked for settings that would supress this behaviour but I could'nt find any.
Also, I really don't want to stop using the automatic upload function because it speeds up development time significantly.
Does anyone know how to work around this issue, or even better, does anyone know why this behaviour is happening and what it's purpose is?

Dreamweaver doesn't "automatically upload" anything unless you have it set to on save. This is a bad practice if you aren't 100% sure of what you're doing. You may see it as a time saver, but if you have to go back two or three times and clean everything up, it isn't. Additionally, you select what is uploaded or not uploaded. If you choose to upload the entire root folder every time, then Dreamweaver will upload everything inside it... not automatically, but because you chose it.
As to the "dumb folder structure", when you define a site, YOU and YOU ALONE define the folder structure. If you are working in multiple sites at once (bad practice unless your are extremely meticulous about details) odds are you will sooner or later save a file from one site, with another site open in the Files Panel and Dreamweaver will save the file to the open site, not the one you opened it from (see why it's a bad practice to do this?).
It's just frustrating having to cleanup the ftp servers because

It reads like you have defined a testing server and are using it when you put files. C:\localhost is a testing server protocol. If you are testing files and then attempt to put files from the testing server instead of the root folder, they will have the filepath from the testing server and not from the root folder file structure. Again a bad practice unless you are meticulous about details and remember to switch back to the root folder from the testing server panel BEFORE you put files.

Try to set for the current session the in memory sorting space to 0 before running your query:
SQL> alter session set sort_area_size = 0;The query should use the temporary tablespace.

Does recovery disc creation use temporary files?

hp pavilion slimline s3707c, vista home premium 64 bit
When I created the recovery discs, 3 dvds 4.7GB each, it appeared to use up about 15 gig of hard disc space. Could this be the temporary storage needed to 'collect files' in preparation of the discs? If so, can this space be freed up?

Bad software design, it should clear the temp files after burning 3 DVD's. My suggestion: to be sure, before delete them just copy those files to elsewhere (such as an external HDD), delete them on internal HDD. Wait for few weeks then we can delete files on the external HDD.

Syncing 1 BB with 2 PC's using different folders for each

I have a BB Tour and want to sync it with 2 PC's - one at work and one at home. Neither PC uses Exchange, BES, etc. My primary syncing is with my home PC. However, I'm wanting to do a 1-way sync from my office PC to the BB, and have info saved in separate folders (I think I need separate folders to be able to have my work contact info and calendar available to me when out of the office). Also, I don't want all of my work data to transfer to my home PC when I do a home sync.
Can anyone help? Thanks.

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
You can certanly sync with multiple computers. However the BlackBerry Smartphone will not difirentiate between the data and combine it all into one contact list. Meaning that if you have 1 way sync set up at work and then sync 2 ways at home, all of the work contacts will go over to your home PC. The only way is to have 1 way sync enabled at both places and only sync to the device. This however would mean that any information you enter on the BlackBerry will not sync to any of the PC’s.
When it comes to the calendar sync, as long as you have more than 1 email integrated on your BlackBerry Smartphone it is possible to synchronize to different calendars separatly. This is a tricky process and I am attaching a knowledge base article that explains how it would work. (Keep in mind that if the default calendars are not switched back and forth between different PC’s, there is a big chance that you will run into issues with duplication of calendar appointments and deletion of appointments.)

CSS problem using different folders for different files

So I am trying to organize my files into different sections
so that updating will be easier in the future. However right now,
when I create a file in a new folder, my drop downs quit working on
the files inside the folder and some of my css (mainly the css in
my IE conditional statements). My drop downs do work if I put a
copy of the css that controls the drop downs into that folder. The
thing is, if I ever want to update the css, I want to update it in
only one spot rather than in ever folder that I had to copy it
into. How do I get my folder files to work from the css files that
I created inside my local root folder?

I managed to slove this by creating symbolic link to the new location on filesystem.
I was hoping there was some more elegant solution for moving backup sets.

Ok I understood you. You have to restore your backup
sets in the same location where RMAN backuped them
because that information is stored in the catalog.
In fact, if you remove the backup sets from the disk
, they get "Expired Status" and if you restore them
to disk the status is going to be "Available". Test
it!!!
To carry out this you have to use crosscheck
command.

Mvt 301 - How does system allow to use this MVT for sloc to sloc posting

Using MVT 301 one can post goods from sloc to sloc withing the same plant. Why is SAP not preventing this, when there is 311 available specifically for sloc to sloc transfer?

How to use Search Folders in Outlook for shared mailboxes

We use Otlook 2010/2013 with MS Exchange 2010. In outlook there is "Serarch folder" with subfolders Large e-mail, Unreaded mails.... User can create own subfolders with rules.
Users have attahet to outlook shared mailboxex for example Import, Export....
For these mailboxes you cannot use "Search Folders" - outlook can use it only for your personal mailbox.
To use "Serach folders" for shared mailbox I have to create new e-mail profile in Windows. User has to run outlook using these new profile "import". Now he is directly connected with shared mailbox.
But users want to use "Search folders" when they are on own outlook profile with shared mailboxes attahecd to their profiles.
Is it posible to do it? Or use some third-party
product?

Why does an app in 'use cellular data for..' keeps on going to Green eventhough I already swiped it off? It keeps coming back.

First thing and easiest thing to try is a device reset:
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.

Just create a new AppleID for your work.
As Allan suggested, items purchased on one iTunes account cannot be moved to the other account.
However, you can put items purchased on on account onto the other iPhone.

If you only changed the name of your ID rather than creating a new ID, just go to Settins>iCloud and tap Delete Account then sign back in with the new name. (Deleting the account from your phone does not delete it from iCloud. Your data will be synced back to your phone when you sign back in.)
If you created a new ID, you'll have to go to Settings>iCloud on your phone and turn all data you are syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off. When prompted choose to keep the data on your iPhone. (If you are syncing iWork documents with iCloud, also open your iWork apps and turn off iCloud syncing and choose to keep the documents on your phone.) After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Next, set up a new iCloud account using your other ID, then turn syncing for your data (contacts, etc.) back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to your new account.
You won't lose any photos in your camera roll or photo library. If you have any photos in your photo stream that are over 30 days old that are not in your camera roll or saved on your computer, be sure to save these to the camera roll before deleting the account. To do so, open the photo stream album on your iPhone in the thumbnail view, tap Edit, tap all the photos you need to save to select them, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll.

This error happens when I try to import into Dreamweaver. Sorry, I wasn't clear on that earlier.
I thought maybe it was because I had saved my image as a png. So re-saved as a svg, still get the error.
DO I have a setting is Dreamweaver CC that is wrong? Should I try this in Dreamweaver CS6? I might try that next.
Why is this program so difficult? I know Flash. I know After Effects. I can work the timeline part just great. It's always in the export that I have problems.
