Does Creative still make a DAP with EAX time-sca

My old Jukebox 3 had it. It was fantastic. Nobody, even Creative, makes any kind of player--even fancy multimedia ones--with this feature anymore (changes tempo, but retains pitch.) There are several ones on the market which speed up/slow down, but turn the voices/instruments into chipmunks and Darth Vaders!
Does anybody have a newer generation player with this feature? Come on Creative, give us a taste of that old-school brilliance again!

It's several months later... Does Creative plan to?release ANY players that support time-scale or other EAX features? Even as a paid add-on? I'm a musician and the time scale feature is critical for figuring out a chord or lick. Thanks

However, we are using Microsoft JDBC Driver 4.0 but are noticing that a setQueryTimeout thread is being spawned (of class com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.TimeoutTimer) for every query we execute.
And, the thread seems to stay around even after the query has finished executing.
Can anyone confirm whether this is actually fixed?
Or, does anyone have any ideas how we can avoid having a new thread spawned for monitoring for a query timeout?

I formatted the Zen Xtra, and have been replacing the tracks that I transferred to my PC Music Library.
BUT: Now it's doing the exact same thing ("Unable to create file" blah blah), after transferring about 500 tracks.
Creative's customer service has nothing to offer besides "try another USB port." And the fact that they use form letters to respond to this stuff is pretty obvious, in that the responses don't address my statement that I have already been told this, and done it, and have by now run out of USB ports to "try."
So now I have about 5% of the songs I had on the player before formatting, and it doesn't seem to have corrected the problem. I'll give it another shot, but MAN do I wish there was an update of MediaSource and the firmware [sorry for going "off-topic"] because this is ridiculous. I've got half a mind (well, a quarter) to take a hammer to the Nomad, get a refund through RepairMaster, and buy another brand of mp3 player.
In the meantime, I'll AGAIN restart my computer, reload MediaSource, and see if it doesn't crash within an hour, like usual.

I'm looking for a monochrome laser printer to print letter-size paper, with true (not emulated) Adobe Postscript. The discontinued Xerox Phaser 4510 could, but its replacement, the Phaser 4622, has emulated postscript. Some Xerox color printers have true Postscript, but I don't want or need a color printer. The monochrome Phaser 5550, which can print up to tabloid size, is larger and more expensive than I need.

If you plan to integrate a wireless access point with your router, you need to be mighty careful with this. The reason is because of the potential location of the router in the premises. Most of the time, the router is located in the far corner of a property and inside a metal box/cabinet. For starters, the location is far (to very far) from the clients so the wireless signal is propagating to no one. Next, if it's inside a box or a cabinet the metal shell of the cabinet can disrupt the way wireless propagates.
This is the reason why I mentioned the PoE option. If the location is similar to what I've described, then it's better to get a router AND WAPs separate. This way you can move the WAP to wherever your clients might be.
Next is your bandwidth. What router to buy depends on what bandwidth you've got.

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

I'm confused - does it still make sense to upgrade to CS6 now?

Hi,
I wanted to switch from Mac to Windows in the near future and therefore upgrade from CS5 to CS6 (because apparantly it's not possible to switch my CS5 license to another OS).
Cloud version is a no-go for me, one reason is because I don't like monthly fees, I want to buy things and own them.
Now, with the CC versions announced and the discontinuation of the Creative Suite, I am not sure it even makes sense to upgrade to CS6 anymore? Would I invest in a more or less dead product?

Does Firefox still have conflict issues with AVG anti-virus?

When the box pops up that tells me of the new update available it often says that there may be conflict issues if you are running AVG antivirus software. Does that conflict still exist? I like my AVG and would not like to change so I need to know before I update.

AVG WILL work with FF6.0.1 & FF6.0.2 It's safe search that is the problem see below from AVG: Please rest assured you are still protected by AVG even if you have already upgraded to Firefox 6.0. The AVG Active Surf Shield component is still checking all data and will prevent you from accessing malicious content even though search results verdict icons are not available temporarily.

Why does creative panel launcher wont install with no WMP11?

HT3546 Although I am connected to the internet via Airport the internet connection does not stay on and comes with a "time-out" message. The airport connection is still on however. I have recently bought an old Mac Book 1.1.

I have recently bought an old Mac Book after having purchased an iPhone and iPad.
The internet connection (via Airport) keeps timing out while the Airport connection is still on as confirmed by the Mac and shown on the task bar.
Any ideas?
