Does CS4 need Deactivation when UNINSTALLING?

I am having two major Problems with Premiere Pro CS4 :
1.. The Media Encoder cannot find a file when I press the start button.
2.. The Help does not bring up a browser., so I have to rely on a PDF Help file.
I now wish to uninstall all previous versions of Premiere Pro, Encore etc and re-install CS4 versions.
Do I have to Deactivate CS3? or CS4?
There is no mention of activation in the CS4 Premiere Pro PDF file.
ah woe is me...such an expensive update and such a time waster.

While using the Vanishing Point in CS4 64 bit, Photoshop shuts down when I attempt to move text or move a plane within a grid.

Thanks for the response.
I installed the 11.0.2 update and I still have teh BEX64 crash. I have also tried starting PS CS4 and pressed Cntrl Shift & Alt at the same time. It still crashes when I get to the point of moving text or a plane in a grid within Vanishing Point.
I also backed off from 90% as you suggested.

Which MSXP Services does FF Need? When Disabling Services; extentions, addons, themes stopped working

I disabled some Service in MS Windows XP Home SP3 cause my Internet only lagged in Windows.. So i unchecked everything i didnt need or use.. Windows works wonderfull, runs even faster than before.. Only my extentions, Add-Ons, Plugins and Themes stopped working except for one.. The spelling-checker.
So, my question is which Windows Service Process prob. disabled this when i shut down the services.. (By asking this i want an answer so i only need to enable 1-2 processes and not the dumb-ass answers where you advice to turn everything on again)
PS.
Troubleshooting Information included but i didnt find any complaints there

Disable Photo Stream in the System/iCloud preference pane
and in iPhoto's Photo Share preference pane.
Reboot and reenable both respectively. That should jump start Photo Stream.

Hi I have been having a problem with Bridge in CS4 recently. So uninstalled CS4 and Lightroom 4.4 and reinstalled them on my Desktop PC. When I turned on Bridge through CS4, My thumb nail images disappeared and a thumb nail icon with CR2 appeared. Now some of my images have disappeared from Light room 4.4, but I can find them in CS4 and Bridge now shows some thumb nails as images and some as an icon with CR2. I don't use LR and rarely use the bridge so I can not answers about thumbnails in them, However thumbnails in windows file explorer and windows dialog for CS2 files will only show if you have installed codec into windows that will produce them. Windows does not do CR2 thumbnails on its own. I use FastPictureViewer Codec package for RAW File and PSD files thunbmail support.

don't worry, I for my part I have on my computer more of these earlierer (outdated in some cases) Adobe programs, to see the difference or for some other reasons. Try them out for a while and then decide, whether you need the both.

I have an Encore asset which is dynamically linked to a Premiere sequence. Do I need to render the sequence in Premiere before transcoding it in Encore i.e. is Premiere rendering necessary? Thanks in advance.

Adobe Encore technical support told me that Encore will not automatically render the Premiere sequence. You must manually render the sequence in Premiere before transcoding in Encore.

Once you have restored your new phone from the backup of your old phone and ensured that everything is working correctly, you should first turn off "find my phone" on the old phone and then erase it, before you get rid of it.

I have the same issue. If you are exporting from iMovie version 10.0.1, I run into the same issues if I export directly to YouTube or if I export to file then upload to YouTube.
Google's help file doesn't properly address this problem and thier help is also out of date. In talking to a support rep at Apple, they said the export to YouTube should just work or the exporting to a file then uploading otherwise it's an issue for Google support.
If someone can post a solution that works (is a streamable format - which is different than the format that YouTube accepts as it will accept many formats but take a long time to process them), I'd be interested to hear also.

I am having the exact same problem with trying to sync my iPad with my computer. To make a long story short, I had to reinstall Windows for my computer and therefore had to reinstall itunes.
I have done back ups in the past for my ipod touch and other ipods with no problems, but unfortunately I have never been able to back up my iPad. During a sync, the iPad would always disconnect from my computer and it would never finish. it would say the connection was lost, but nothing is wrong with the connection.
So now I have over 100 apps and thousands of pictures that I am afraid will be deleted if I run the sync in itunes. I have tried to transfer purchases and it goes through the list of apps, but nothing is ever transferred.
Any help would be appreciated. I am not interested in jailbreaking my iPad to solve this problem. There should be a fix for this and I want to upgrade to ios 4.3 as the original poster. Please help

Error Message When Uninstalling Old iTunes for 7.7

When uninstalling (as a natural part of the process of installing 7.7) a message comes up saying that it cannot find iTunes.msi and asks me to find the file. I have no idea where it is. It isn't in either of the two suggested locations.

With that one, let's try the following procedure.
First, head into your Add/Remove programs and uninstall your QuickTime. If it goes, good. If it doesn't, we'll just attend to it when we attend to iTunes.
Next, download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility:

Now launch Windows Installer CleanUp ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"), find any iTunes and/or QuickTime entries in the list of programs in CleanUp, select those entries, and click “remove”.
Next, we'll manually remove any leftover iTunes or QuickTime program files:
(1) Open Local Disk (C:) in Computer or whichever disk programs are installed on.
(2) Open the Program Files folder.
(3) Right-click the iTunes folder and select Delete and choose Yes when asked to confirm the deletion.
(4) Right-click the QuickTime folder and select Delete and choose Yes when asked to confirm the deletion. (Note: This folder may have already been deleted if QuickTime was successfully removed using Add/Remove Programs earlier.)
(5) Delete the QuickTime and QuicktimeVR files located in the C:\Windows\system32\ folder. Click Continue if Windows needs confirmation or permission to continue. (Note: These files may have already been deleted if QuickTime was successfully removed using Add/Remove Programs earlier.)
(6) Right-click on the Recycle Bin and on the shortcut menu, click Empty Recycle Bin.
(7) Restart your computer.
Now try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly now?
