Does d-sappli work on any ipod nano

I just bought a docking station from sony that has the ability to dock an ipod/iphone. I am going to purchase either an ipod nano or an ipod touch. The situation I have at hand is that I would prefer to buy the nano since its smaller but I do not want to buy it if the app d-sappli does not work on it. If it only works on the ipod touch then I would purchase that, even though I would prefer not to spend the extra money if not needed.
Thanks!
Steve

Apps are NOT compatible with the iPod Nano. They will work only on an iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad assuming that these devices meet the apps requirements.

  • Will napster work with my ipod nano?

will napster work with my ipod nano? or do i have to use itunes, i already have napster monthly so it would be easier for me but please let me know

    Hi Superman,
I am not acquainted with Nabster, so I don't know much about the compatibility to iTunes. My only question is what format would the music be? I don't use Nabster or any P2P software, so I am in the dark. Is it just at random? So for Kyrstin, Knowledge Base Document #93123 on How to Convert a Different Song to a Different File format, would be something to look into if problems arise?

  • How does one copy songs from an iPod nano to a new computer?

How does one copy songs from an iPod nano to a new computer?

You can't add any iOS to a Nano since it doesn't run iOS.
For iTunes purchased music connect to your computer and in iTunes go to File > Transfer purchases.
For non-iTunes music you will need 3rd party software. Assuming you have a Windows computer try Yamipod.

  • Will podcasts work with my ipod nano 2nd gen

will podcasts work with my ipod nano?

Audio: yes, assuming they are in a format iPod supports such as mp3, .aac, etc. Audio podcasts that you subscribe to through the iTunes Store should be no problem. Video: no.

Does T61p can work with any USB3.0 Express Card?
For example AKA BC398 with chip NEC 700200?
    Or any other?

i don't think many people have tested these cards, theortically it should support them, but not at the full speed. Since the ExpressCard slot is 1.0 standard.

  • Does anyone know if the new ipod nano come with a camera

Does anyone know if the new ipod nano comes with a camera?

The newest nano is the 7th generation. It does not have a camera. The 8th generation is the next one, for Apple to release whenever they want. We do not know when or what it will have.

  • Does iTunes 12 work with the iPod Classic ?

Does iTunes 12 work with the iPod Classic ?
Or do I need to stay with iTunes 11.4 ?
    Thanks

Thanks, ( you just got your first 10 points, congratulations! )
Ever since the iPod Classic was discontinued I have stopped purchasing music on iTunes. So I did not have a compelling reason to upgrade.
I have heard others having troubles and I got concerned that perhaps Apple had dropped support for the Classic on iTunes 12 because it was discontinued.
    Thanks for helping.

  • Itunes does not recognize my 6th generation ipod nano.  I installed, unintalled the progam...can't get it to work. any suggestions?

can't get my itunes to recognize my 6th generation nano.  I have installed/uninstalled.  Restarted and I can't get it to work.  Any suggestions?

    1. Update iTunes to the latest version. Plug in your iPod. If iTunes still can't recognize it, then in iTunes in the top left corner click help> run diagnostics. On the box that comes up, check the last two things. Click next and it should identify your iPod.
    2. Click on your windows start menu. Type in "services". Click on it and when it pops up, on the bottom of it click on "standard". Now Scroll down to find "Apple Mobile Device" Right click it when you see it and click on "Start". When it has started, close iTunes and replug in your iPod and it should show up.
    3. Check the USB cable
4 Verify that Apple Mobile Device Support is installed
    5. Restart the Apple Mobile Device Service and verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed.
    6. If you just want to add some photos, songs and movies from computer to your devices, you can use an iTunes alternative to do the job
    7. Check for third-party software conflicts.

  • Why does my iMac not recognize my iPod nano?

I recently purchased an iPod nano, with the touch screen, for my wife. Obviously she wanted to immediately connect it to our iMac 27" and transfer her music files. But the iMac does not recognize the iPod, whatever we try. It does not turn up in iTunes, the Finder or System report, and it does not charge. The really strange thing is that the computer has no problems with my HTC Wildfire, running Android. It also has no problems with flashdrives, our portable hard drive or printer. Only the iPod. So much for the "Im a mac and I always work.. diddely."
    I have tried the following:
Reset the iPod nano by holding the power button until the grey apple appeares
Restore the iPod nano from a PC running Windows XP (Which had no problems recognizing the device by the way)
Tried to connect with two different cables (Wich again both worked well with on the PC)
Updated iTunes to the newest version
    Ugraded from Snow to Lion
    Reset PRAM, NVRAM and SMC
    Shouting
None of those has made any difference. What should I do next?
    My Mac is a iMac 27", produced in 2009, 3,06 GHz Intel core 2 Duo, 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 Ram S/N: W80031TH5PE. Running MacOS X 10.7.2
The iPod is a nano, latest generation with the touch screen, Model no: A1366 EMC No: 2385. S/N: DCYFX08WDDW2

Reformatting will wipe out everything you synced to it.  Check out the iPod nano (6th generation) - User Guide  for reformatting instructions and other troubleshooting suggestions if you have not already done so.

  • Games apps that work on the ipod nano 5th gen

When I first bought this ipod(Sept 09) there was an option in iTunes store to show all apps that could be used for the ipods that we had loaded.
The last app i bought Peggle, works on our ipod classic and the ipod nano 3rd generation but not on ipod 5th generation.
Does anybody know of any more games apps that work with ipod 5th generation?
    Thanks

  • My ipod is not showing up in the left hand column on itunes. I have tried the trouble shooting methods but nothing is working. My ipod nano also will not play.

My ipod nano is not showing up in the left hand column of itunes. It says connected on the ipod and I can find it in my computer but its not there on itunes. I need it as I want to restore it to factory settings. I have tried the troubleshooting methods that are on the Apple website but no luck.
Also my ipod is not playing. I found a way to upload all my music to my new computer. I followed a guide given to me on wiki and it worked. However, since then I cannot get the ipod to play. The menu is there, it turns on, all the playlists are visable but when I press play it does nothing or flicks briefly on to the page to play but then flicks back to the list again. I have tried all the troubleshooting on the Apple website but again nothing. I wanted to restore it to factory settings but to do this you have to be able to access the ipod in the left column on itunes which obviously I can't do. That was happening before the ipod stopped working. The two issues are separate.
Thanks and hope you can help me.

    I have sorted it myself!!
Ipod is now in the top right corner, last time I clicked on it, it ejected it but by clicking on the actual ipod icon then it brings up your ipod. I restored it to factory settings and synced all my music and it now works again. Hope this can help anyone who ends up with the same problem.

  • HT5470 I can't get the radio to work on my Ipod Nano 7.

I can't get the radio to work on Ipod nano 7.  When I go to the radio screen the following happens 1) the radio screen appears in the backgound with a small rotating icon at its center for few seconds, 2) the screen go blank and small apple icon appears at the center of the blank screen for few seconds, and 3) the home screen reappears. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply.  It turns out my ipod nano was defective.  For some reason it rebooted every time the radio button was pressed.  I tried a software restore and that failed.  Since the unit was just a few days old I was able to exchange it at the retailer.  The FM radio on the new unit works great.
