Does Dell24WPF-HC work fine with McPRO?

Please help. I cannot afford the 23'ACD and looking at the Dell 2407WPF-HC as an alternative to use with the standard 2.66GhZ/Nvidia GeForce7300 256Mb.
PCBuyit.co.uk has an interesting price, but my main concers are:
1. will it work with the MacPro? Has anybody got it and been using it with no problems?
2. is this a decent monitor for non-professional photography?
3. any bad reports on PCBuyit?

I'm using a Dell 24" 2405FPW and it works extremely well with my MP. I do find the display rather bright, over-bright in actual fact, and I've still got the brightness on mine set to minimum to 25% so be sure to look at the display's brightness/contrast specs before buying as this can affect your photographic use.

and
CallableStatement.setNull(1, Types.ARRAY, "SOMEARRAYTYPE") throws java.sql.SQLException: ORA-06531: Reference to uninitialized collection

Is this a problem with the driver? Is there any other way of setting null value for a parameter of ARRAY type?

No it works great. It used to be kind of crappy because you had to go through an ODBC connection to do it. However in the last major version upgrade XIR2 they added it as an actual object in the Formats tab next to the Data Sources tab. This makes it a lot easier as you can just drag the object into your data flow, enter in the appropriate information and you are good to go.

Hello, my father recently passed (using his ID) and I took over the payments on his mac and took his computer. I am not that familiar with mac, but am usually computer savy. However, this one has me stumped. I have no problem starting the built in cam and it seems to work fine with all other programs I've tried using it with. However, it will not work with yahoo. Whether I use normal yahoo messenger or if I try using Yahoo through I chat. The cam button will not light up, therefore, it is not clickable. Which ultimately means I cannot use my cam on yahoo, which is something I use 99% of the time compared to other programs. So why is this happening and what solutions can I take to try and fix this? The mac I am using is: Mac OS X, Version 10.7.4

1) If the iTunes preference window is open when you connect your iPod, the iPod will not be recognized by iTunes.
Also, iPods can work with many iTunes libraries, so that is not the problem here.
Is all the software on your computer up to date?

Does the iPod show up in My Computer when connected to your computer? Does it say Do Not Disconnect?

2) What part aren't you understanding. Here are a couple of free programs you can use to convert videos...
MPEG Streamclip
Videora iPod Converter
The programs should come with documentation and instructions to convert videos.
3) You can go to file-->add file to library, file-->add folder to library, or have iTunes open and drag the files into the iTunes library while viewing the library.. You can also import from CDs.
iTunes needs to be adding the songs to the iPod. You cannot just add the song files to the iPod.

Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the Music and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad above the volume switch, or via control centre : swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen and it's the right-most of the 5 icons in the middle of it (if the icon is white then it's 'on', tap it to turn it grey and 'off'). I found an answer that worked for me. I am using an iMac.
(1) Sign out of the iTunes store
(2) Open a NEW account with a new Apple ID
(3) Go through the sign up process and then go to the ACCOUNT INFORMATION page
(4) Go to RECOMENDATIONS & PING POSTING
(5) Turn on Genius there
Once the Genius updates, you can sign out and then sign in under your original Apple ID or the e-mail address you use for the iTunes store. All my store credit was there and now Genius worked.
Rather odd but I actually like the Genius at times except when it can't deal with some of my lesser known bands that I listen to.
Worked for me.

You need to sync them in iTunes and download them there, then simply open them from the folder where they are stored in other programs.

I don't know what they call it, but my plantronics voyager pro, and my wifes plantronics voyager pro+ will not let you hear music through the headset. My Blueant T1 does support it and plays the music through the deadset.

Works fine here on Linux. Make sure that you do not block [[JavaScript]].
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

With 10.2 I can only use system speaker output for audio, NOT my RME FF400 I used previously. The FF400 works fine with other apps. How can I set this device in FCP 10.2? (it is set in both system preferences and midi)

The FF400 works fine with other apps (some like TwistedWave) setup in the program, and others (like Spotify) using system preferences & audio midi setup. How can I set the FF400 to be the sound output device in FCP 10.2? N.B. The FF400 is set as sound output device in both system preferences and audio midi setup.

I have the solution! Well it at least worked for me. This is the response I got from Apple, Can you please try the following steps towards fixing your audio issue, and report back with your results?
1. Open the application Audio Midi Setup (located in Applications : Utilities)
2. Select the Output Tab for the current output device
3. Select the Configure Speakers option
4. Select the Multichannel tab
5. Change the setting to Stereo Now mine was set to stereo but the left channel wasn't showing left. re-clicking on stereo reloaded the settings and after clicking apply it worked.
