Does dv7-6c95dx have bluetooth support built in?

Under drivers for my model, there are choices for drivers for bluetooth, but my computer has the 6150 Centrino wireless card.  It does not recognize bluetooth hardware recognized with the latest chipset driver.
As this is not CTO, does it have bluetooth?  Or, do I need a dongle?

Hi
Your Laptop is Factory Deafult with the O.S. Windows 7 64 bits.
Did you make the Update from Windows 8?
The Windows 8 just one driver has update for the card Atheros.
You can Install:  http://www.ma-config.com/
This program verify the correct driver.

  • Does my MacPro have BlueTooth or not?

    I have a MacPro 4,1 (2.66 GHz quad-core, 3 GB RAM) that Apple offered as a replacement for my PowerMac G5 after I had problems with the logic board 3 different times over less then 1 year.
    On the menubar the Bluetooth icon was there so I click on the "discoverable" menu option and after a about 30 seconds the icon grayed out and now the menu says "Bluetooth: Not available". I looked in the System Profiler and the Bluetooth section says "No information found".
    When I look at the system specifications at http://support.apple.com/kb/SP506 it looks like Bluetooth 2.1 is not an option, but is always built in. The Mactracker application also indicates that Bluetooth should be available.
    So do I have Bluetooth or not? Am I having some of the Bluetooth problems with the MacPro that I've seen in other postings in the MacPro discussions?
    Thanks,
    David.

    Your MacPro did come with Bluetooth hardware. It sounds like yours is fubarred.

  • Does anyone else have problems with built in website url links in a PDF not working in iBooks?

    I have several magazine PDF files that have lots of website url links built in to them.
    When I click the links when viewing the PDFs via iBooks they often don't work.
    However, the exact same PDF when viewing/clicking using other PDF apps like GoodReader work perfectly fine.
    Nothing else is different except which app I am using to view the PDFs.
    Anyone?

    It would appear iBook app doesn't support hyperlinks except within a document.

  • Why does MSI P4N have no support for Intel Preslor and Asus Nforce 4 does??

    Well as you've probably guessed it im new to the forums (howdy all  ). I currently own a MSI P4N diamond motherboard and quite frankly i most dissapointed with what has been called (by too many reviewers) a great board.
    First off i see very little changes taking place with each bios update, of which does not seem to happen regularly at all. (lets face it no board is perfect especially the Nforce 4 range from MSI for Intel CPU's).
    Secondly overclocking a Pentium D 830, which i may add should be capable of overclocking very well on an Intel Nforce board, can barley reach 3.4 Ghz (i know its mobo issue as the CPU is water cooled and overclocks to way beyond 3.7 on an 955X board).
    Thirdly the North bridge fan was poorly stuck on my motherboard in that on installing my motherboard into my case it popped off like the lid of a pringles tub by a slight movement of my hand  .
    And last but least... why does the MSI P4N diamond motherboard not support Intels latest 65nm CPU's when ASUS's and Gigabyte's Nforce 4 motherboards work well with the Pentium D and the 65nm range of Intel CPU's. Upon also reading about the next gen of Intel CPU's the Conroe, the 975X motherboards will support the future CPU via a bios update and it has been said that the same is likely to happen for the Nforce 4 range... however once again due to the lack of support for the MSI P4N diamond by MSI i believe all of us owners of this pathetic (an over statement really but its going to be that way if MSI keeps this up) over hyped motherboard will get a simple NO in the CPU support table for the next gen range of CPU's.

    Where did you get the information regarding the MSI P4N diamond's release date?
    Are you in the United Kingdom? As it was released at the same time as the other Nforce 4 boards here (i was on the edge of my seat waiting for the Nforce boards to be released on overclockers.co.uk for sale) In the end though i bought my mothreboard in October, which is a good few weeks after release.
    Is there any kind of SLI 32 on MSI's plans? this is what worries me as they have made a move in the 975X department but have not made any further developmentes in the Nforce range for Intel, which to the average joe kind of indicates loss of intrest in this field from the company.
    I am overall pleased with my motherboard, when using a single core CPU, as overclocking was a sheer joy, but as soon as the dual core CPU went in the mothreboard behaves like a drunk man coming from a pub. I am aware that the Nforce 4 chipsets struggle with the dual core CPU's but surely Nvidia were informed by Intel about the dual core CPU's being released in the future.

  • Mingw32-sdl_image does not have jpg support

    Hello,
    I'm trying to cross-compile some basic SDL programs to Windows. I've tried installing mingw32-sdl_image from the AUR multiple times, but when I compile my programs for Windows and then run them under wine they give the error (via IMG_GetError): "Unsupported image format". I'm pretty sure I'm linking everything correctly. Here's my makefile:
    CFLAGS = -Wall -pedantic -Werror
    LFLAGS = -lSDL -lSDL_image
    OBJS = init.o input.o graphics.o main.o
    PROG = tutorial02.exe
    CXX = i486-mingw32-gcc
    # top-level rule to create the program.
    all: $(PROG)
    # compiling other source files.
    %.o: src/%.c src/%.h src/defs.h
    $(CXX) $(CFLAGS) -c -s $<
    # linking the program.
    $(PROG): $(OBJS)
    $(CXX) $(OBJS) -o $(PROG) $(LFLAGS)
    # cleaning everything that can be automatically recreated with "make".
    clean:
    rm $(PROG) *.o
    Compiling this for Linux with a similar makefile (i486-mingw32-gcc is changed to gcc) seems to make an executable that can display the image fine. I figure the problem is that mingw32-sdl_image doesn't have jpg support built in or somehow it isn't linked when it's configured and compiled. Does anyone know how to fix this?
    Thanks in advance,
    Isaac

    ./configure for mingw32-sdl_image
    ./configure --host=i486-mingw32 \
    --prefix=/usr/i486-mingw32 \
    --enable-static \
    --enable-shared \
    --disable-png-shared \
    --disable-webp --disable-webp-shared
    ./configure in extra/sdl_image :
    ./configure --prefix=/usr --disable-static
    You could try changing the mingw32-sdl_image pkgbuild, or contact the maintainer to find out why they disabled png and webp .

  • My phone doesn't have bluetooth capability, otherwise, how would you connect to an apple watch?

    My phone lost its bluetooth capability. Are there any other ways for an apple watch to connect to your phone?

    Since you do not indicate, what model iPhone do you have, and why does it not have Bluetooth? If the Bluetooth is simply not functioning, you would need to take it in to have it repaired. Bluetooth is required for the Apple Watch.

    Hello,
    Does Pavilion G6-2342DX have Bluetooth, PCIe and Thunderbolt?
    And can somebody replace the optical drive of this laptop with another accessory?

    Hi:
    Below is the link to the product specs for the HP Pavilion g6-2342dx Notebook PC.

    It does not come with built in bluetooth or bluetooth would be listed along with the 1x1 802.11b/g/n WLAN specification.
    You can:
    1. Replace the wireless card with a supported combination wireless/bluetooth card listed in chapter 3 of the service manual for your model.
    2. Purchase an external USB Bluetooth adapter.

    Does Aperture 3 have built in PhotoShare/iCloud capabilities or do I need a newer version of iPhoto as well?  I'm running iPhoto '09 and am to scared to switch to the newer version of iPhoto..?

    Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
    Both Aperture 3 and iPhoto '11 are compatible with Photo Stream. However, note that the most recent iPhoto '11 and Aperture 3 versions use the same library, so your library will be upgraded, and it doesn't mind if you install iPhoto '11 or Aperture 3. That's why I recommend you to make a backup of your iPhoto library before installing Aperture or upgrading iPhoto

  • Does iPod nano 4th gen have Bluetooth?

    Does iPod nano 4th generation have Bluetooth capability?

    Unfortunately, it doesn't support Bluetooth. You may buy a Bluetooth adapter, and it won't necessarily be that bulky. I'm sure you can figure out how to connect then. If you need help in connections with an adapter and Bluetooth speakers, this may help, too:

  • Does Equium A100-306 have bluetooth and how do I get the mic to work?

    Hi there, please forgive stupidity but am new to the world of technology!!! Have tried to activate bluetooth to accept my mobile but to no avail.. starting to think there was a mis-print on the box!!! please help, does this model have it and how do I get it to work.. 2nd question...
    Do I need to get external microphone? Was told the internal one would work when making calls however, no-one can hear me and I've tried to alter settings, to be honest have no clue what i'm doing? help me please anyone..... thanks Eva *

    I can confirm this. The notebook does not support the BT module and does not support internal mic. If you want to use the microphone you have to use a external one. You can connect it to the external mic jack. Thats all.
    But what do you exactly want to do??? Do you want to transfer the images from mobile phone to notebook??
    In such case you could use an USB cable which was especially designed for such mobile phones for connecting to the notebook or desktop PC
