Does exist any way to working by vectors in Photoshop ?

I dlike to use some vector as a Photoshop brushes.... for example i make some graphics as you can see on picture 1 (it is AdobeIllustrator). Edges are nice smoothly. ..Then I exporting the same graphics from illustrator to Photoshop (as you can see on the pic 2). Edges are not smooth. Displayed graphics is rasterized and if i wont to sett bigger size of picture(graphics) then output is not good for me. Any Idea to solving this problem ?

Simple answer: YES
From your screen shots, your main problem is, you are working at too low a resolution.
Photoshops vectors are real vector objects. They are not "faked" at all. The Resolution of the file (similar to Illustrators pixel size in document setup) just sets how large the vectors will be rasterised, if output as a flat pixel based file. It doesn't mean that structurally Photoshops vectors are inferior to Illustrators vectors. In the end ALL printed output is rasterised at some point - and you upsample the containing document for Photoshops vectors to massive sizes if necessary.
You can copy and paste simple vector shapes from illustrator. You don't need to use Smart Objects. These pasted vectors can also be created directly in Photoshop - they be Vector layers, or paths.They can be reshaped, and worked with as vectors in Photoshop.
Now as Zeno says, brushes, in Photoshop, must be rasterised.If you still want to use illutstrators vector "brushes" you can use Smart Objects.

If the account was an IMAP account your emails should re-appear if you recreate the email account. If the account was POP you hopefully have backup (TIme Machine?) you can restore the emails from.

No, the LR catalog is not multi user capable (and cannot reside on a network share without tricks). What you could do is
export part of the catalog (a subset of all images) into a separate catalog ("Export as Catalog", without exporting the negatives)
work on different images in the two catalogs at the same time
re-import ("Import from Catalog") the exported work after adjustments on it is finished

All I did was inserted a text layer with that same inside color and a stroke layer style with that same outside color (about 3 or 4 pixels; outside position). Font used was Calibri Regular.

If your talking about the Color Cubes from fireworks as shown in your screenshot, then yes.
Save the swatches out of fireworks as an Adobe Swatch Exchange File (ASE) and then you can load them into photoshop
in it's swatches panel like below.

Join Num with Char, is it possible? Any way to work around that?

Is it possible to join a column (in one folder) that defined as NUM with a column (in another folder) that defined as Char? Is any way that I can convert Char to NUM (because information stores in there are number - but show as text number)?
Here is the example, we have Order Lines Folder that has column HeaderID (NUM) and we want to join Order Lines Folder with Materials Transaction Folders on Transaction Reference column (as Char). Is it possible at all?

This is possible and done all the time. You can convert either way.
To convert from a number to a string use the function TO_CHAR.
To convert from a string to a number use the function TO_NUMBER.
So in your example you could use:
OE_ORDER_LINES_ALL.LINE_ID = TO_NUM(MTL_TRANSACTIONS_REFERENCEx) where MTL_TRANSACTIONS_REFERENCEx is the transaction reference field.
Be careful to join at the right level. To work at the Header level use the HEADER_ID, whereas from the line you should use the LINE_ID, unless the table you are joining to is a header level table.

Is there any way to work around administrator passwords to reset?

I have lost record of my administrator name and password for my iMac. Is there any way around it to reset it? There are multiple users and each time someone tries to log off, it requests administrator rights, forcing a hard shutdown.

I don't understand why that should be happening. I'm not seeing anything, at least on my 10.6 in SysPrefs>Security, that would account for that.

I want to download photoshop cc but it keeps coming up saying 'You are running an operating system that Photoshop no longer supports. Refer to the system requirements below for a full list of supported platforms'. As far as I am aware this is due to the fact that my laptop runs off windows vista.

Most likely there is a workaround for "downloading" it, but you're never going to get it to install on your Vista computer, let alone run it.
You don't give any machine specs, so there could be another additional reason(s) your machine does not meet the minimum system requirements, not just your Vista OS.
The "way around this" is to upgrade your machine or get a new one.

Any way to work with multiple layers once map is mapped to a sphere?

I'm working on a history documentary about World War II and I have a map of the world divided into colonial empires. Each empire is a separate layer. I know how to take the world map and apply it to a sphere in Photoshop CS4 Extended.
The problem is that after this all my layers disappear and I'm left with a single layer.
I want to fade in the empires' opacity levels as the globe revolves.
How can I do this if putting the map on the sphere collapses all the layers into one?
Also, how do you turn off the shadow on the sphere? I want it the same level of brightness everywhere on the planet.

Hi Nick,
I think you have figured out that if you want a texture map to contain layers, you need to either group the layers (and select the group), or just select all of them before selecting the 'New Shape From Layer>' command. The result difusse map will have a single name, but if you open it you will see that it has layers intact.
Fading opacity or any other keyframe attribute of a texture while the 3d model is also being animated, is a new feature to CS4. You need to open the texture and animate it so you have an animated texture applied to an animated object. I have added a quick lo-fi 4 sec. sample of what I think you're trying to accomplish. I'll attach the source PSD, so you can take a look at how I set it up.
Basically, I took your flat png file an added some layers for the country selections so I could fade them in/out. Then I animated them to fade using the layer opacity (100% keyframe at start, 0% keyframe at finish, or vied versa). I then selected all the layers and 3D> New Shape from Layer> Sphere. Now I went about animating the revolving of the sphere using 3D object position for keyframing (I went from z: -180, to 0, to +180, but you can play around with that. I'm not expert with the animation to know what works best for smooth transitions and looping if desired). The animation from the texture should 'play' at the same time as the animation of the sphere, you just need to sync the timelines when setting keyframes.
For even lighting on the sphere, you can approach it a few ways. Your best bet in this case is to go to 3D> Render Settings... and select 'Unlit' Texture' from the Face Style pop up menu. You can also remove all the lights using the 3D panel (select a light in the top half and then click the trash can icon at the bottom), and then change the Global Ambient color to White (found in 3D panel with 'Scene' selected). You could also try adding infinite lights at all the six camera views.

I can't swear to this because I do not have the Netflix app, but I believe that the most recent upgrade to the app requires you to watch the movies in landscape mode now and it cannot be changed.

I have an ODS where we store costcenters to be planned. This ODS is loaded via a manual falt file load (regular dta transfer process). In order to avoid inconsisten data in the planning cube, I want to check in my ODS load process, if any costcenter which is already planned (it has planned data in my planning cube) is being deleted in the loaded file.
To do this, I need to access my planning data cube ( i guess also planning buffer), so my question is if there is any function module which retrieves data from a planning level as reference data.

Please take a look at the note. You do not need to implement the after_burn_selection exit, but you can find sample code how to read the planning buffer. Please give it a try.
Another solution would be to use the function module RSDRI_INFOPROV_READ. But you need to make shure that you first close the yellow request. This can be done using function module RSAPO_SWITCH_BATCH_TO_TRANS.

Any way to make text larger in Photoshop CS 5 Extended?

I recently upgraded from CS3 and the tool labeling text is too small to be able to see on the toolbars. The icons seem smaller too. I need to use a magnifying glass now and didn't need to do that with CS3. I did look through Photoshop's prefs (the main ones, accessible by pulling from the menu under Photoshop's name), but couldn't find an option for altering the display. (I have "huge size" font selected for the font selection in the display for font choices--that's not the problem.) It appears from here that the programming for Photoshop's basics has just miniaturized everything. I haven't made any alterations to my computer or screen that could account for the problem, so I'm supposing that everyone has that? I had assumed it must be a problem with running Photoshop CS5 on Leopard, but the upgrade to Snow Leopard didn't help.
I'm aware that the operating system has a system pref for zooming. I've tried that once in awhile for something other; I think that using the system's zooming while trying to operate in Photoshop will be more inconvenient than using a magnifying glass.
My eyesight is imperfect, but it wasn't perfect on CS3 either. I'm running Photoshop on the same computer & monitor as when previously running CS3: 24" iMac 2.8 GHz with 4 GB RAM.

Another thread on new enhancements might be a good thing for the Photoshop community, but right now, I just want to use Photoshop without having to use a magnifying glass. I could do that if my installation of Photoshop were right (defining "right" as being similar to what I can see others running Macs have with CS5). The labels that ought to appear in a bold typeface aren't bold on my Mac; it's almost as if I were running Photoshop on a UNIX or Windows machine (at least, the way I'd imagine Photoshop might look in a different environment).
I don't expect to be buying Adobe CS6 at any point, so even if Adobe were to add that nice little wrinkle to its programming it wouldn't help me. But I doubt that I personally would need it... if only my installation were right. I did install the latest update and it had no effect. Photoshop displayed this tiny unreadable type interface for me from the first time I opened it and ever after that time, no matter what I've done.
I'm used to going through all the prefs just after installing a new application, and that's what I did with Photoshop, setting Preferences-->Interface, Pulldown under UI font sizes to "Large" (though Large might have been the default).
I thought it might be interesting to fool with this Interface UI pulldown preference a bit. I opened, altered that preference, and quit the app three different times to look at font size each time upon reopening the app. My Photoshop won't show a bold labeling typeface at any of the three settings (small, medium, or large). The Small setting will make the font size a bit smaller than the medium, but the Large setting won't make the medium size even the tiniest bit larger.
So between the lack of a proper bold font display and the unresponsiveness to a Large typeface preference, it looks as if my Photoshop CS5 has been hacked to make the application unusable for someone like me who can't see tiny type. Nice.
I opened Photoshop using BBedit, trying to find the place in the programming that controls the font being used and its size. I couldn't find the place, but if I could have found the spot in the programming that controls this functionality, I'd just have input some different, bolder font for the tool labels.
Unless someone thinks of something else I might try, the solution I'll use will be to change the display screen in the system preferences from 1920 x 1200 pixels to 1344 x 840. I don't think that's going to be very practical, but perhaps is a bit more practical than using a magnifying glass. I've already updated Photoshop, dumped all Photoshop's preferences and redone them all. No luck there.
I guess I might have been better off not spending the money on the upgrade, though one glance at the masking improvements in CS5 over CS3 lets me know that Photoshop CS5 is a dream of an application. I just really wish I had the application I paid for.

Inter links not working, any way around?

Working on Nook using Safari, uploaded PDF to acrobat.com and inter links don't work. I've read in a forum about changing to PDF/a? however I can't locate where this would be in this situation.
This is a work project, many files such as this all with inter links that serve as task completion check ins. Really would like this setup to work.

I've found that down loading the PDF file to the Nook and using Acrobat reader allows the links to work, however this is way cumbersome, any way to work on files directly on Acorbat.com?
