I just would like to know, Does Firefox 7.0.1. support a 64 bit OS windows 7 ?
I mean will it as fast as in a 32 bit Os?

                  Under Network adpter it should show Broadcom 802.11 /
11b/g/n Wireless, Realtek Wireless or Atheros Wireless,,
If non
Check for any Device under device manager that has a yellow Symbol, like an exlamation mark sign,
              It should say Network Controller
>if this is the case, Download a Driver from Lenovo Support Website,
-If there is no such Icons-
Check Your BIOS Settings,
   Keep on hitting F2 right after you power on the system, This should boot you to BIOS
Go to Configuration TAB and look for Wireless Option and Make sure it is enabled
hit F10 to Save your changes and Exit

I have a HP Pavillion DV61355dx windows 7 home premium 64 bit sp1

Hi I have a HP Pavillion DV6-1355 dx windows 7 Home premium 64 bit and I have some major issues ,first when I bought this computer I turned it on it automatically connected and downloaded a whole bunch of stuff I am not even sure what all ,my P/N #VM222UA#ABA , S/N [Personal Information Removed] I dont even know what should and shouldnt be on here anymore . It has a sticker in keyboard area at bottom right corner and a windows 7 sticker says Intel Duo core and yet I get troubleshooters refering to Vista ,AMD ,and several other computers .In my device manager it has a bunch of stuff with little yellow gears .I feel it has down loaded my old computers which I dont have but 1 and my current ones which are all windows 7 64 bit . I was gong to scare my husband by starting his prinnter from mine wasnt even sure what I was doing but I do remeber it saying that I would have to be in control over the pcs I cant remember exactly and I also wanted to make sure updates were done because my husband never did them so I thought great they will get regular updates. At that time we had 3 windows xps 1 professional 64 bit,1 hp media center 2005 64 bit and a windows xp home edition 32 bit .I didnt know much about pcs then I sought help but never got it resolved we had a differnt router and i beleave sbc global at time when I did it that computer ended up dieing so I no longer have it but yet I see its hardware listed and I see the AMD listed and SIS and Matrix with dates going back to 2003 and this computer is a 2009 . What I need to know is how to get all the stuff off here that dont belong and the true specs for this notebook we have att now and a cisco E1000 router and I know some how that the stuff from the other computers are on here .Even when I go to the HP support page it will refer to older editions of windows troubleshooters it says under collection information that computer name is LAPTOP which i put down for the other windows 7 with a amd so I could identify the different windows 7 home premiums and I listed this dv6 as laptop .Windows version says 6.1 architecture says amd64. under publisher details it says package version 1.0 publisher Microsoft Windows,network adapter 1.0 Microsoft corporation. Wi-fi touch mouse x7000 will not stay paired on Windows 7 home premium 64-bit

Product: HP wi-fi touch mouse x7000
Computer: HP Envy sleekbook/ultrabook 6t 1000
O/S: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Wifi type: Intel 802.11b/g/n WLAN and Bluetooth + WIDI
Error message: none when attempting to pair
I received my HP Envy 6t two days ago and have started the process of loading software and devices. In addition to ordering the PC from hp.com, I also ordered the HP Wi-fi touch mouse x7000. After booting up the PC for the first time and walking through the Windows 7 set-up, I immediately installed the wi-fi mouse.
Upon initial install of the mouse with the provided install CD, I received an error message stating that one of the drivers was not digitally signed and that the version of windows installed did not support unsigned drivers and that the installed device may not work because the driver would not be used. I continued forward with the install and the mouse seemed to be in working order. I then decided to go out to the HP support website and download the latest Windows 7 64-bit driver for the mouse I had. I then ran through the install and the mouse still continued to work. At this point I had not yet rebooted the PC.
I then performed the following steps in the listed order:
- Installed HP Photosmart 4700 series printer with provided install CD and established a connection via wi-fi
- Installed MS Office 2010 SP1
- Started download of automatically identified Windows Updates that were related to the O/S and other installed Microsoft software
- In parallel with the Windows updates download, I installed the latest release of Symantec's Anti-Virus software and updated its software and virus definitions, this all finished prior to the Windows Updates being completely downloaded. I left the default settings as is for the Symantec Anti-Virus configuration.
- The Windows Updates then installed
- Rebooted the PC
After the reboot of the PC was completed, the mouse would not pair at all. I attempted several times where I would go into the HP mouse control and select configuration and then pairing. I would follow the instructions of pressing the connect button and the screen would then say it paired, but the O/S would not recognize it and the mouse would not move. Going back into the mouse control center it then also recognized it was not paired.
I then attempted to uninstall the mouse software and it would get to the point where it was "gathering information" and it showed a full status bar yet it just hung there. I would wait for 15 minutes and then hit cancel and it would still just hang there yet again. After 15 additional minutes of canceling I would just reboot the PC for which the mouse software was still installed but the mouse continued not to pair. I tried the uninstall process 3 times, each with a PC reboot as part of the process because it would just hang.
I am not sure if the install CD installs a 32-bit version of the mouse software and drivers. If so, perhaps I confused the registration of the product by installing the 64-bit driver I downloaded from HP support. I have attempted to install both the 64-bit driver and the 32-bit driver for Windows 7 that I downloaded from HP Support online in which the execution of the installation is successful with no errors. However the pairing continues not to work and the uninstall hangs.
In addition, after the PC bounce, my HP printer was no longer being recognized. Come to find out Symantec is blocking communication of the PC to the router and thus to the printer. So I disbled Symantec and the printer now works but the mouse still does not. I even rebooted the PC after disabling Symantec and attempted to pair, with Symantec still disabled after reboot, then attempted mouse driver re-installs, mouse software uninstalls and still no luck.
So I am at the point where I cannot uninstall the mouse via conventional means and the wi-fi mouse will not pair manually or automatically.
I have not yet circled back to performing another Winows Update check to see if there are any additional updates after the intial download of the ones mentioned earlier. I will plan to do that next time I am on the PC.
Any suggestions?

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Danish

Hello
I want to format my PC and I have found out that it is legal to download a version of Windows online if you have a legal CD-key. I have a legal CD-key, but I need a copy of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit in Danish. So far I've only been able to find it in some other languages but not Danish. Is there anyway to find this version online?
My recovery partition does not work, so I can't create the Recovery DVD's myself.

HP Advisor stops working on my Pavilion p6330f with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit system

My computer is a Pavilion p6330f with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit system. It bothers me when I get error messages and can't seem to correct the problem. After loging onto my computer a message comes on that the HP Advisor stopped working. When I attempt to load the HP Advisor it gives me the same message and does not come up.

HP Advisor-one of the first things I uninstall, flaky software.

I did not leave anything out from the error message. It doesn't point to a specific file, it just ends with "(x86)..." Every time I boot up my computer, this error message pops up on my desktop.
How do I repair this issue? I have found multiple suggested solutions but am unsure which one is the best, and I don't want to try a bunch of different things for fear I may make the problem worse. I would like to try and fix this myself if possible but I need to know if that is really possible or if I need to take my computer to someone for repairs. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!

Can I install and use XE on Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit?

I would like to install Oracle XE as a learning tool but have Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit which I see in the installation guide is not supported. I guess the answer therefore is to upgrade to Windows 7 Professional which the XE Installation Guide says is supported.
I have checked various forums and there seems to be some varying opinions on this. Before I go ahead and upgrade to Windows 7 Professional, can someone advise the best course of action please?

The full 11g documentation can be quite helpful, even though XE has a subset of the SE or EE options, and going through the XE 2-Day DBA pages is good reading as well.

As mention here home OS not supported, so as mention here again if you make some googling you can find link&blog which is mention to create WM machine, install linux(you can use OEL linux which is free and can be download from e-delivery site) than you can make 11g installation on it

Ei.cfg not being seen by windows installer on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit retail disk.

My problem is that the retail disk of Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit has no ei.cfg restrictions. Instead of choosing the correct operating system ID, on install, the .cfg
is coming from some where else installing a custom version of windows that is a different version of windows than on the retail install disk that I have a software key to. Even though it recognizes the key as windows 7 the operating system no longer recognizes
the retail disk it was installed from as the same version of operating system. It seems that there is a pre operating system install to a volume that cant see the ei.cfg file on the windows retail disk. It is something like Windows ME or MCE and it is hard
to get past because it acts like the operating system after install. It looks like there is a complete install of windows 7 but it is only a version of ME or MCE in the 100MB range installed to a partition volume. I am given a User account Profile within
Application Data folder in the system. The actual windows system in its entirety does not exist in the partial virtual operating systems. All the installs are to Partition Volumes on the Partition of a GPT Server Partition on a Disk
on the Hard drive. All Virtual.
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit and 32bit retail disk is GSP1RMCHPXFRER_EN_DVD. The bios version on my Asus G75VX is American Megatrends version 206, V Bios version 80.04.97.00.13.N62G75500, EC version B14E140001. The operating system version is not the same

The above information was taken after an install from the Microsoft Windows 7 64 bit retail disk purchased at Fry's and installed to my Asus G75VX. It is a Network Managed Client Server configuration that installs from the retail disk.

I have been dealing with this problem since the day I purchased the first notebook from Best Buy configured this way and it was not even an Asus. It was a Samsung Chronos i7. The Asus G75VX I have now is the third notebook in a row purchased from Best Buy
with the configuration right out of the un open retail box. None out of the three came with windows 7 installed. They had windows 8 64bit installed with the configuration. I purchased Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit attempting to get around the configuration

My main concern is that I use computers to do my legal documents in court cases in the United States Federal Courts and I am a pro se litigator and I have been litigating a civil action since 2011 that is still open in the federal court. I am also legally
disable and covered by Federal Communications Act FCC Rule 255. This configuration has Telephone software and equipment, Management Software and equipment, and Networking software and equipment all covered within FCC Rule 255. My notebook is unusable for litigation
or personal use as a Publicly Managed Network Client Server. I paid $1350.00 of my Social Security Disability income for the Asus G75VX and another $216.00 for Windows 7 Home Premium 32 and 64 bit DVD and that is not counting a list of other things to
now have a personal notebook computer I have to sat down beside me in public libraries, Colleges etc. to use their computers to do my legal work. It is illegal and total wrong and it is a violation of the Bill of Rights First and Fourth Amendments and Title

No Oracle product is certified against any Windows Home OS.
As Vista was released after Oracle 10gR2, 10gR2 is not certified against any edition of Vista.
You need to downgrade to XP, or install Linux.

HP Notebook w/ Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

How do I restore the startup function on my hp notebook with windows 7 Home premium 64 bit bought in 2010? I have run all the diagnostics in systems recovery and everything checks out, however the unit powers up but nothing starts up.

I would suggest going back into the recovery manager and doing a system restore (not recovery) back to a previous point where you know it worked. The other option would be to do a recovery but you will lose all data that is not backed up.
