If you use [[Clear Recent History]] or other means to clear (all) cookies then those specified cookies will be removed, even if there is an allow exception.
You can let all cookies expire if you close Firefox and make an Allow exception for the ones that you want to keep.

Does Apple have any programs for Disabled Americans?

I am a Disabled American and due to a very limited income I have been unable to afford a computer since losing my ability to work. Is anyone aware of whether Apple participates in altruistic or philanthropic programs whereby someone like myself may be eligible for an Apple computer that I am otherwise unable to afford? I've always been an Apple and Mac user and supporter but at this phase of my life it's as though I can enthusiastically watch from the sidelines but I feel like I can't play in the game, so to speak. If a program exists which may provide refurbished or otherwise unused products to others like myself, there is a very real possibility that with access to a computer I could even rejoin my former colleagues in the workplace. This sounds looney, but it would be a joy to feel viable enough to begin paying taxes again! My country has faithfully looked after me; I'd like the opportunity to give back now.

Your best bet would be to work through local philanthropic or servic organizations. Groups like Rotary, I believe often do such things. Also, you might try asking around at support groups for your particular disability. If you are working with a hospital or government social worker, they may also know of programs.

It is not so much a matter of ODT supporting object types as it is whether ODP.NET does since ODP.NET is the underlying data access layer for ODT. Unfortunately ODP.NET does not support object types.
Possibly leading to some confusion about this is that the "PL/SQL User's Guide and Reference" is included in the ODT documentation that integrates into Visual Studio .NET combined help collection. Chapter 5 in the User's Guide is about "Using PL/SQL Collections and Records". However, PL/SQL Associative Arrays (which are described in this chapter along with VARRAYs and nested tables) are the only supported collection you can use at this time.

Told that "this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action" And that I should create an association in the Folder Option control panel. I have not been able to work out how to do this, and wonder where the program (that has obviously been there for the past few years) has disappeared to?? I am still using Windows XP....... could it be something to do with that?

There are some malware infections that make it hard to run programs (EXE) files. Hopefully you do not have one of those.
Could you check whether it is a problem with your shortcut by starting Firefox a different way:

First, I suggest you download
Microsoft Safety Scanner or
Malicious Software Removal Tool to run a full scan.
The error messages here seems to be caused by the corrupted registries, which related with the folder association.
