Does Firefox have Active X? If not, how do I get it?

I am trying to download practice sessions from Microsoft for MS Excel. It said that it could not download the session because my browser did not have Active X. Does Firefox have active X and I have not turned it on? Or how do I get it? Please realize that I am not very computer literate.

I have been trying to find printer color profiles that Photoshop gives you access to. Normally they are in files of type .icc. However, I did find that a lot of printer profiles are in files of type .profile. Actually files of type .profile contain several different color profiles. It turns out you can open up the contents of the .profile files by right clicking and selecting show package contents. It is another finder window. You can copy the contents to another directory. That is what I needed because of a beta package I am testing that needed the actual printer profile .icc file. It is all working now. However, I am still disappointed that I cannot use Finder to find all of my .icc files on my Macintosh hard drive.

If you don't have a cellular data plan, then why are you expecting that you will have an active internet connection unless you are connected to wi-fi?
iMessages require either wi-fi or a cellular data connection.

In Acrobat X the old Typewriter tool is found at Tools - Content - Add or
Edit Text Box (it still has the typewriter icon, but with a different name).

I used to have auto-fill for contact info with another program, where I stored my contact info once, and then whenever a form popped up to be completed, just hit auto-fill and the info auto-populated. Does firefox have this? If so, how can I get it? Thanks!

Boxed sets of iLife'11 include iDVD.
New macs shipping with Lion do not. The only iLife components included are iPhoto, iMovie, and Garageband.

Suddenly all my tabs closed. Then Windows told me I had a gazillion infections. The main problem with malware is that it uses the installation to proliferate by contacting hostile servers to download more of the same rogue code.
Firefox doesn't have the option to "Run" a file. You can only "Save File" or "Cancel". If you downloaded it with IE8, then yes, you can run it, but that's not what I wanted you to do.
What you should do now is to disable System Restore. You can open System Properties by hitting the Windows logo key and Pause/Break key together. Then click the "System Restore" tab. Then checkmark the box which says "''Turn off System Restore on all drives''". Reboot to clear its contents. System Restore unfortunately makes a backup of all executables which includes viruses so that when you reboot without deleting them first, System Restore reinstates them again.
After you complete that step, run Avast and Malwarebytes again to make sure the system is clean.
Then go to the Windows Update site (link on your start menu) and install the missing patches which enabled your machine to become infected in the first place.
Once the system is clean, repeat step one to download Firefox again, but please do not run the file. If you don't see the option to "Save File", cancel the download, but it should be there. Perhaps you are loading a template that has a text block already on it.
You might try the blank template option and set that as your go to template in your preferences

I go to amazon.com, look up the album in the search bar, the do a copy (right click, copy) on the artwork that shows up. Then you go to iTunes and right click the album you want to update with that artwork, click "get info" click in the artwork square and press the 'command and V' keys for paste (fyi right click paste does not work here) you must just click in the square and press command-V which will paste it. It should then place that artwork in the square to update all songs in that album. Hope this helps...

Try a different FW800 cable and also try doing a SMC reset. If neither work try another FW800 device to see if it's recognized, if it is then you know it's not the Mac it's probably the EHD.

Attach the computers power cable.
Wait another 5 seconds and press the power button to turn on the computer.
PRAM RESET
Shut down the computer.

I don't use iTunes's "fetch artwork", so I'm not 100% sure, but unless you are signed in to your iTunes account, artwork is not automatic. Even then, iTunes doesn't always find it.
You can copy-and-paste artwork from the inernet, either Amazon or Google. I use 300x300 pixel images.
For the future, if you have iTunes questions, you might be better off posting them in the iTunes for Mac forum, this is iTunes for Windows. In this situation, it doesn't make any difference, but next time maybe it will.

THe phone is NOT jail broken.. all i want to do is have it return back to how it was before i started the updae version process obviously it did not take and now it is locked into plave the screen will not change.. after reboots and shut down when i turn it back on the same screeen appears the cd disc with the music note over it and the arrow pointing upwards and a picture of the small end of the charge cord that fits into the actual compute..
