Does Flex can use Wamp as server?

I'm new to Flex mobile development and I can't find a way to connect my project with wamp server and confused that flex can retrieve datas from multiple tables from web server. Can anyone help me please

Actually, why i want to ask this question is: we want to hookup the search function on sharepoint online page (e.g: we hookup the function of
executeQueries of sp.search.js), capture user's query string and filter the query string based on policy by KQL. it works now. we just consider if MS change the implementation search function of sp.search.js somehow,
MS don't use the
executeQueries anymore for search page, our solution is fail, we need to know the accurate change plan and change our solution
corresponding. it is just like a
reverse project.
Could you give me some feedback or suggestion about this?

Most (if not all) of the bigger vendors has a product that supports Exchange 2013, so look them up.
Exchange 2013 has some Anti-Spam and Anti-Malware Protection functionality that you can read about here:

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

How can I setup Datalist's itemrenderers in Flash catalyst so Flex can use it as Skin ?

I'm struggling with Flash Catalyst / Flex, as long as repeating google request in the objective to find an answer, but nothing so far...
Here is the deal : i want to have a clear Workflow between Catalyst and Builder. Therefore, i have two separates projects : one is modified by catalyst only and contains all my application's skins and design. The other one is edited by Flex Builder and contains all the logic. But i run into a very annoying problem, when it comes to Datalist !
I have an itemrenderer in a datalist that displays 3 information in 3 differents fields. Catalyst handles this good with it's conception time data panel. But, when you look at the source code, text properties of the created itemrenderer are binded to some stupide data object : {data.text1}, {data.text2}. That's great, but... In my Flex application, the real data object is more like data.name, data.firstname, data.score...
Is there a way i can tell Catalyst to use some {data.name} for its binding, so when the project is imported into Flash i can use Catalyst's generated code as "Skin" instead of modifying the catalyst's generated code ? That would break the workflow making iterative work impossible ?

There is no ddns setup in the TC so how are you going to get your public IP??
Port forwarding works ok.. give us a few screen shots of what you are doing..
And of course you need to make sure the target IP has a static IP address.. preferably set on the TC itself.
Overall though the Cisco router is probably better for this job.. just bridge the TC and use it as a backup device.. which is much closer to what it is in reality.

Can anyone throw light on how BPEL PM invokes external partner links ? Does it use the Oracle HTTP server to send out the invoke request ?

Maybe use should define what you mean by an internal service as you can connect to DB, JMS, AQ, WS, etc. I'm assuming you mean web service therefore basically the mechanism is HTTP. This does not mean that you need OHS. Also internal services can go through a HTTP server if you desire.
SOA Suite uses the same technology for both internal and external services. It is only your network that restricts connectivity. SOA Suite can connect directly to external services but this generally isn't recommended as it is a security risk.
If OHS is killed then you should fail over to another OHS, if this configuration is not in place you will lose connectivity to external services.

Convert Date stored in MYSQL to date flex can use

Hello All.
I am trying to finish a simple log in script for a program i am working on.
Its using amfphp to check a mysql database to ensure that the username and password that the user enters is in the database and flagged to allow them to log in,
I have all this working fine.
However the database also has a table named "Date" that contains a date in the format os DD/MM/YYYY this date is generated by flex in a process earlier.   The field type for this date field is a varChar.
My flex application also has a variable that contains the current Date. In the same format.

and i have a label that displays it using the code below.
DateDisplay.format(today)
Now what i want to do is when the user clicks the log in button, in the result of the function that is run, i want to convert the date stored in the mysql table to a date variable so that i can compare it witht he actual date.   So that the user can not log in once the date has expired.
The result function is as follows

I have been working on this and had some advancement but I am still having problems.
I added a bindable variable - [Bindable] public var SelDate:Date;
and added the following code into my result function
    SelDate= DateField.stringToDate(event.result[0].date, "DD/MM/YYYY");
however when i check what this SelDate variable then holds it comes out as
Wed Jan 20 00:00:00 GMT+0000 2010
the date is correct becuase my database value is 20/1/2010
But i dont want all the time etc, but when i change the "DD/MM/YYY "   it then displays nothing.
Any ideas?

I upgated my Firefox and neither Firefox or IE can use the Proxie server and the sceen to set up the Proxie server is grayed out and not changable.

I am using windows 7 and have used Firefox many years the last time I upgraded I could not connect to the World Wide Web sites but the direct connect sites ie. LOTRO work fine. Internet Explorer comes up with a "proxy server is not responding" and dose not load the page. When I follow the instructions to change the proxy server settings the page to do that all of the proxy buttons and wording is grayed out, not changeable. The other computers in the house work fine. The Upgrade of Firefox seem to corrupted the program for the proxy control.

Note that your System Details List shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize some prefs on each start of Firefox.
The user.js file is only present if you or other software has created it, so normally it wouldn't be there.
You should check its content with a plain text editor if you didn't create this file yourself.
The user.js file is read each time you start Firefox and initializes preferences to the value specified in this file, so preferences set via user.js can only be changed temporarily for the current session.

I am trying to access an internal SSL secured web server that uses a certificate that has been issued with Netscape Cert Type "client" instead of "server".
I know that the clean solution is to issue a certificate with type "server". For circumstances and the mere number of affected servers, I cannot do this.
I would like Java to ignore this. How do I do this?

Ok .. this is pretty easy.
You plug the WAN port on TC into the N900 LAN port by ethernet.
Open the airport utility on the Mac.
Simply allow it to automatically setup and it should select bridge mode.. if not just jump in at the end .. click on the edit under the summary and go to the network tab and select bridge.
Then go to the wireless tab and make sure you are creating a wireless name.. you can give it the same name as the N900 same security same password.. this is called roaming network.
Or use a different name.. use short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric.
I have given a different name to 5ghz.
It will not matter which wireless you connect to but the TC is faster on the 5ghz for backups.

Can I use the Calendar Server on OS X Server to sync Calendar

I would like to know if I can use OS X Server to sync my calendar and addresses on my different devices (iPhone, iPad and MacBook) like in iCloud, or is this only possible in Workgroups?
Also I wondered if I can connect to my OS X Server shared folder from a differen Network when the server has a WWW Domain name?

It is possible to set up OS X Server with services for calendar and contacts for the users, and when you use the same user login on different devices, the contacts and calendars will update across them (assuming you have network connections to the server and the devices are set to automatically get changes with push notifications). The only issue I've seen with this is when you set up the services on a Mac, you will have the "On My Mac" calendar and contacts group (iCloud does not show this when you set up a device with iCloud as it really is modifying the local copies of the data and pushing changes to the server).
It is possible to connect to shared folders hosted by OS X Server if the server and network are set up correctly. To access it over the internet, you have two options:
Port forward (possibly with NAT translation) AFP or SMB ports through your firewall to your server. This would allow you (from a machine on the internet not on your local network) to access the shared folder in Finder as afp://yourserver.example.com (where yourserver.example.com is your domain name, or in the case of a home server, a dynamic DNS name that updates when your external IP address changes).
Setup VPN on the server and allow VPN services through your firewall. By creating the VPN, you would have access to your network (the one the server is on) like you were locally attached to it and not over the internet (with the exception of Bonjour services. Bonjour broadcasts don't work over VPN). The VPN (if configured properly) would add another level of encryption to the data transfers (I don't recall off the top of my mind if AFP is encrypted by default). You can also set up DHCP and DNS with a primary zone and add the name of your server (and/or other computers) to this zone and be able to use Bonjour like addresses (like myserver.local).
As to which is 'better,' I would recommend the VPN route as I am cautious opening ports on my router/firewall and would allow access to more than just the one machine. But in the end it will depend on what you feel like trying (with the help of these forums, other forums, and Google) and how paranoid you are about security. If you implement the VPN, you could access your shared folders, your contacts and calendars securely from the internet, but you would have to have the VPN enabled to get push notifications/updates.

.NET-applications on the web. We need rich interface on our
.NET-applications - without ActionScript-coding required from the
programmer's side.
Can this be acheived with Flex alone?
What is Coldfusion required for? Can Flex be used without it
to create the rich web interface?
Are basic components included and ready-to-be-used? What if
special components are needed? E.g. multi-level menu-tree or some
special data grid. Can this be developed by a Flash-programmer and
used as a "generic" component?
My reason for choosing this would be that we easily can
acheive great web-layouts that are Flash-based, and that interact
with our .NET-applications. Is this the product I'm looking for?

It is absolutely possible to create complex custom components
in Flex and without FlashPro.
Flex can communicate with the server in several ways.
WebService: SOAP-based
HTTPService: XML over HTTP, (like REST and AJAX)
RemoteObject: uses proprietary amf protocol, needs Java or CF
on back-end
There are some others like URLLoader and sockets.
Unless you need your back end functionality to be generally
available to anonymous third parties (hence the wsdl), WebServices
are unnecessarily complex.
I prefer HTTPService, I post xml strings in the normal
name=value format to the server and use e4x xml as the resultFormat
in flex.
Even though you said "roughly", that is still an impossible
question to answer, there are too many variables: On the back-end,
do you need to install a database? Create the schema? or is some of
that part done already? On the front-end, How will you navigate the
records? See, too many variables.
The communication part is by far the easiest. Almost
negligible, although the Flash Player security can cause some
head-scratching!

Print server is Mac G4 dual 533 (audio)
Epson Pro 9600 and Epson R2400 Both are connect by USB. Could be connected with FW 400.
I can use a print server with PS However color management does not come through when using a print server and LR. Image prints, but color horrendous.
All custom .icc profiles are on both the G5 and the print server, G4 dual 533 (audio)
