Does font search find all texts in my movie?

Hi,
when opening my flash movie I get the message that some fonts
are
missing. When I try to search for the missing fonts in my
movie the
related texts are not found.
I remember that the search feature doesn't always work 100%
correct i.e.
searching for strings or regular expressions (the last one
crashes flash
completely). My question: is the font search reliable?

I would use the Movie Explorer or Find and Replace panel for
this - not the "missing font" warning
when opening a doc.

imessage has a new setting that shows all emails associated with your apple id. There are two sections, send and receive. Since you are using the same apple id, Im sure if you adjust one of those settings to your mobile number instead of your appleid, it wont send double.
You might also have to adjust your wifes settings too, so those emails dont overlap

If you don't see any messages, not have anti-malware running or the Firewall on, try installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo
It's ok to do this even though you are already running v10.6.8 (according to your profile).
Restart your Mac after the combo in installed, try the App Store.
Also... if you have an app called Little Snitch installed, that can prevent a connection to the App Store.

Query to find all text attachments for items

I am using the query below to try to find all active items for my org that have an attachment of type 33 (something we have defined I believe) and contain specific text. Some of the items appear to meet all criteria (active, right category, etc) but do not show up in my results. Can someone please take a look and see if there is a join missing, an outer join that should be used, or an overall easier way to do this query and get the text information?

There is no workbook/worksheet linkage to a business area. So you cannot search for a business area and find all the workbooks "attached" to that business area. The attachment of workbooks is at the folder level. It is actually possible, if you are sharing folders among business areas, to create a workbook with data from 2 or more business areas. I have tested that and it is indeed possible. In Discoverer Administrator you can check on folder dependencies to see what workbooks use the folder. Though in my version of Discoverer, there is a problem with Discoverer Plus, such that the workbook save in Plus is not creating this dependency information like it should. At least I have not found any way to take a business area and determine what workbooks would fall under it. Maybe someone else has found a way.

Find all texts in custom programs

my Client wants to tranlate all the Dutch text messages in English. He requested to find all the programs where the translation is required. Any suggestions on the approach.
I tried going to SE91 and do where used list of all the custom message classes. any other suggestions than this.

You may select all the custom messages from database table T100, specifitying the language, message classes starting with Y or Z. Get the translated text from the customer and update it for Dutch language in the same table.
There can also be some messages using the Text-symbols of the custom programs. You can use the text-symbols from all the custom programs using the ABAP statement:
READ TEXTPOOL prog ... INTO itab ... LANGUAGE lg.
The best approach would be to start with the collection of all the custom programs and custom message classes. Then you can use the above steps to get all the texts in english language. Get the translations for all these texts from user in an excel or notepad file. Write an upload program to upload the excel from local pc. Then update the messages for message class in T100 and update the Program text symbols using ABAP statemtnt INSERT TEXT-POOLS......

I seem to have music files in various places on my laptop, on my husbands computer and our main imac. What we want to do is put all music on imac so when each of us logs on we have the same files availabe in itunes, but we logon seperately so we can have different playlists and checked music. So here is what I want to do:
Find all music files on each computer seperately and put everything in one folder one each computer, so three folders total to start...
Move my husbands itunes library and my itunes library from each of our laptops to our main imac, making one huge itunes folder
I want to store our music on an external hard drive, which I have, so I have a full library for backup purposes.
I want all future music downloaded on any of our laptops to transfer to the main imac computer, again to keep one main library
I want all video, apps, books, etc on each laptop to be available in one file on my main imac also so we can all use them
So mainly I want to organize, organize, organize and put everything in one spot so things don't get all messed up and some items are only accessible to me some times and not my husband or vice versa. We want to share everything we can so we don't have to pay twice. I have read many instuctions, but nothing seems to be helping me and was hoping someone could...

I am totally running into the same issue as well. On top of that, when syncing to my iPhone, it took some of the tracks from my iphone and recopied them to the iTunes library, as new files, so now I have a ton of duplicates, and tons of tracks that can't find the iTunes folder, so they have the little "!" next to them.
It would be really nice to have someone answer this question. I didn't think, moving my iTunes library to a bigger external hard drive would have caused all this madness

Using iPad air, iPod, iCLoud and WinPro 7 - I am not finding all my tunes and movies among all these devices.

When I orignally installed iTunes current update, and tried to move about the devices iTunes would crash. I uninstalled it, then reinstalled it. It seems to be stable, however as before I am not finding all of my TUnes and Movies on all my devices.

From what I understand, it sounds like after uninstalling and reinstalling your iTunes as a troubleshooting step, you're now missing some of your media? I would troubleshoot the issue with the steps in here:

Cant Search/find in text PDF.

     I have a problem with one of my pdf files because I cannot search any text in it. My adobe reader can search text with my other pdf files, but it is just in this pdf that adobe reader is not showing any results. My thought is that it is in image form. But strange is that I can copy text in it and I know that if a pdf is in image form you cannot copy text. When I use Foxxit reader, it search well and display the result but I dont want to use that crap.
Sorry for my grammar. Please Help me. and this is my first post here, I hope that we will have an ephistemic community.

Finding all assets in a movie

Is there any way to see where all instances, movie clips,
buttons, etc. are used in a movie? Sometimes I see a reference in
AS and I think it would be easy to just have some sort of directory
so when I see an asset linked, I can easily find where it is within
my movie. For example, the instance of "sample" is used in layer 1,
frame 6, of the mc_clip movie clip. Does that make sense? The
reason is I am working with a lot of sites that were built by
someone else and whose naming convention doesn't make sense to me.

Why does my screen show all windows when mouse moves

When moving the mouse my display shifts to showing all open windows. Why is this happening all of a sudden?
Have checked Disk Warrior and restarted, but it keeps doing this!

What should be in each spot??
Whatever you use the most. As an example I'm right handed to I set the button on the right to Seconday Button so I can take advantage of the menus available for going back a page, reloading a page, etc., when right clicking.
I use the left button to switch between Applications.
It's just a matter of what works best for you

After updating to 4.3.5, spotlight does not search within text messages

I just updated my iPhone 4 to 4.3.5 and Spotlight does not search within the text of my SMS text messages any more. It only searches by the name of the SMS senders. There does not seem to be any setting I can adjust and I have restarted the phone several times but nothing changed.

I figured out how to get it working while retaining your data.
Connect your phone and perform a full backup.
Erase all data/media or restore the phone
Select setup as a new iPhone when prompted in iTunes. Give it some other name (i.e. "New").
Grab a copy of iBackupBot from here http://www.icopybot.com/itunes-backup-manager.htm
Run iBackupBot and select the new backup
In the file list, locate the file name SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist
Open the plist be double-clicking on it.
Copy the contents of this file to clipboard.
Select the full backup of your iphone under it's original name (make sure to grab the one with the latest date).
Locate SystemConfiguation/preferences.plist
Scroll to the bottom and note the Hostname for your phone.
Replace the contents of this file with the that from the "New" backup making sure to change the hostname and phone name in the last section of the plist.
Save the changes to the plist.
Connect your iPhone to iTunes
Right-click on it and select "Restore from backup"
Locate the latest backup under your phone's original name
When it's done restoring and reinstalling your applications, you should once again have push notifications that work over the cellular network.

ResolveNodes doesn't find all nodes

I would like to find all text fields with a specific name in my form (and do things with them...).
Funny thing is: I sometimes get only one hit or no hits at all. I never managed to get the correct whole list of fields. Am I doing something wrong?

Is it possible to find the Skew content in the document???
For example, if the skew is like as 1 to 180 etc.,
We can catch the skew characters like as below only

@Chinna – you can skew a text by -1.5 .
So it seems to be best:
If you do not have assigned any character styles:
1. First find all not skewed text and assign a character style
2. Search for text with character style "None" => all found texts are skewed by some value
Or, if there are already character styles into play:
1. First find all not skewed text and change the value of a property, that is never set to a special value throughout all texts in your document. Set this property to a special value.
2. Do a search where this value is set to default => all found texts are skewed by some value!
Here some code to show this with the property strikeThru that should be not used in the text!
Find a different one that is working with findTextPrefernces or changeTextPreferences, if you are using strikeThru in the formatting of your text!

I am using Firefox 4.01, and when i print the page to pdf, all text elements are gone

I installed the add-on from the below url:

Then Click File->Print to PDF,
The pdf file created and open the file, you will find all text are gone.
This add-on works fine in Firefox 3.5 and 3.6.
is it a bug of firefox 4.01?

Finding all .mov files

hello, I have been trying to wrangle all my .mov files and was wondering if anybody knows a good way to do this.
I am looking to consolidate the movies I shot and were downloaded using iphoto. The folder structure for iphoto is deep and I do not have the time to open every folder to capture the file and put it in a common movies folder. Also, I have a lot of .mov files that I have downloaded from our server at work or from emails that I would like to archive and pull off my limited solid state hard drive. I was able to find and move files using spotlight but it is hard to know if I have everything and have not been able to use spotlight to delete the files that I have transfered to another disk so a therfore not saving disk space.
Any thoughts or tools would be most appreciated.

Well, first, you should not delete any files that you find are part of the iPhoto structure. iPhoto uses a database linked to the media files, and if you move or remove files that are within its library, you will corrupt the database and risk the library being unuseable.
I would do it in two sets of searches - I would first search the Finder. It's better to search for all files of type "movie" than to restrict it to the ".mov" extension. Type "movie" in any Finder search box, and the dropdown should offer "Kind - Movie". Click that. Make sure that "Search" (the location along the top of the window) reads "This Mac" (you'll get a better results list than if you restrict it to "All my files").
Do the second search within iPhoto itself (not in the Finder). Open iPhoto, and create a new smart album. For the criteria, set "type" to "movie". You can then drag (to copy) these movies out of iphoto and into your preferred Finder location. If you prefer, you can then delete them from iPhoto (select all and cmd-delete).
