Does FP10.2 and StageVideo work in AIR?

Hi,  Do any versions of AIR include Flash Player 10.2? I can't seem to find this information anywhere.  The main reason I am asking is that I want to use StageVideo in AIR. Is StageVideo supported in AIR?  The closes info I can find is http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/beta/reference/actionscript/3/flash/media/StageV ideo.html Which says "AIR profile support: This feature is supported only on AIR for TV devices. See AIR Profile Support for more information regarding API support across multiple profiles.". Does that mean it is not supported on Desktop computers? That doesn't make sense to me, as Desktops are the most widespread and powerful.  If StageVideo is not yet supported in AIR, then can I get an estimate of how long it will be before it is supported? I have a project resting on this.  Many thanks.

its not supported yet in desktop air according to this documentation
It would be nice if they'd hurry and release it.
I was also hoping to update my project, stereoclip to work with it

    Make sure the wifi signal is strong enough as the iPad uses twice the normal bandwidth (receiving youtube video and sending it to the Apple TV).
    if it isn't strong enough, try to move your wifi router closer to the Apple TV room or get an additional router.

  • How does systemd, wpa_supplicant, and dhcpcd work together? rtl8188su

    I'm running arch with alarm (done a pacman -Syu to get latest everything) on an original Raspberry Pi model B.
    I'm using a Belkin USB adapter which is really a Realtek rtl8188su chip, which is recognized with the r8712u module. I want to do it all from the command line (not running a GUI, as this Pi won't be having a display attached.)
    The system recognizes the built-in Ethernet, and dhcpcd assigns it an IP address, so I can SSH into it and try to bring up the wlan0 interface.
    I'm an old-school Linux/UNIX hacker, but I haven't had a lot of experience with systemd, nor with wpa_supplicant or even much of udev, so I'm a bit lost in trying to make this work.
    I made sure wpa_supplicant and wpa_cli were installed. Then I edited /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf to add my ssid/passphrase, and saved it as /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.wlan0.conf. I also did "systemctl enable wpa_supplicant," and I've rebooted.
    The status of the system is that it does not enable the wlan0 interface. Further, the wpa_cli tool does not work. If I run just "wpa_cli" or with a command like "wpa_cli list" then I get the error:
    could not connect to wpa_supplicant - wpa_ctrl_open: No such file or directory
    This is weird, because wpa_supplicant is running in dbus listen mode:
    [root@alarmpi ~]# ps alx | grep [w]pa
    0 0 94 1 20 0 5636 1416 poll_s Ss ? 0:00 /usr/sbin//wpa_supplicant -u
    Each time I boot, I get this message in /dev/log/messages.log:
    Nov 10 01:40:06 alarmpi kernel: [ 648.082619] ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): wlan0: link is not ready
    Now, if I insted does "systemctp stop wpa_supplicant" and start it manually, it does bring up the interface:
    [root@alarmpi ~]# wpa_supplicant -i wlan0 -D wext -c /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.wlan0.conf
    wlan0: Trying to associate with a0:21:b7:63:a1:98 (SSID='jwatte' freq=2462 MHz)
    wlan0: Associated with a0:21:b7:63:a1:98
    wlan0: WPA: Key negotiation completed with a0:21:b7:63:a1:98 [PTK=CCMP GTK=CCMP]
    wlan0: CTRL-EVENT-CONNECTED - Connection to a0:21:b7:63:a1:98 completed (auth) [id=0 id_str=]
    [root@alarmpi ~]# ifconfig wlan0
    wlan0: flags=4163<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1500

    TX packets 5 bytes 610 (610.0 B)
    TX errors 0 dropped 1 overruns 0 carrier 0 collisions 0
    [root@alarmpi ~]#
    However, dhcpcd is not auto-launched to provide an IP address to the interface.
    So, how is this supposed to work? How am I supposed to configure the system so that all the pieces click together? It should start wpa_supplicant with the right config data, and/or configure it over dbus correctly, and it should make sure dhcpcd is then invoked to obtain an IP address. I have *no idea* how to actually configure this to do the right thing, because all the tutorials and documentation I can find on the web is either very abstract ("services live in /usr/lib/systemd/...") or just claim that things "will magically work" if I have the correct configuration.
    Help! Don't know what to do next!

    Your manual wpa_supplicant invocation result looks good, so the major hurdle you have taken already.
    For wireless you need a management method that acts as interface to wpa_supplicant and dhcp and watches the connection. Before you browse off to archlinuxarm, also read the non-abstract introduction here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wi … management

  • How does Illustrator allign and distribute work

    Hi
    I am trying to understand what is happening behind the align and distribute functions in Illustrator.
    I am working on a PC with Illustrator CS5
    I have taken a photograph of a stone wall in to Photoshop:
    Converted it to grey scale
    Reduced it with levels to black and white
    Then selected the black and converted the selection to paths.
    Exported the path as an illustrator
    Imported it to Illustrator ( I know I could trace it in illustrator but I prefer t work this way round).
    All objects are un grouped and on one layer in Illustrator.
    Select all objects
    Open the Align pallet
    Set Align To Artboard
    Apply distribute Horizontal Center
    Apply Distribute Vertical Center
    The objects are distributed across the Artboard
    Select all objects
    Horizontal Align Center
    Vertical Align Center
    Apply distribute Horizontal Center
    Apply Distribute Vertical Center
    The arrangement is different
    Do the same exercise with 15 circles of the same size and a similar redistribution happens.
    What is determining or influencing the re ordering?
    it does not seem to be size or the layer order.

    Thanks to everyone who has replied to my question.
    Some interesting information and comments.
    I am still unsure as to what logic Illustrator is using. I can understand that layer or other orders might effect the order. I started thinking about creation order and if this is different to layer order. So I exported my dots test file as .svg so I could look at this. I then re imported it at the distribution was more predictable. If I align to bottom, left then distribute h and v I got a diagonal line of dots. This is what I would have expected to get. I still need to test this out more.
    before svg
    after svg conversion
    My main problem is that if I am going to use the distribute I need to know and understand what it is doing.

  • Does all functions and procedures work this way ? (dbms_lock)

    hi guys,
    all along, i thought..
    begin
    dbms_output.put_line('a');
    dbms_output.put_line('b');
    end;
    when ranned, i will thought of oracle pl/sql interpreter reading the source line by line
    as the steps below
    - saw dbms_output.put_line('a') ... print a
    - saw dbms_output.put_line('b'); ... print b
    thats all..
    but after using dbms_lock, i realise its abit different from how i thought ..
    begin
    dbms_output.put_line('a');
    dbms_lock.sleep(10);
    dbms_output.put_line('b');
    end;
    i would have to actually wait for 10 sec before i can see the result 'a' and 'b'..
    so it seems to me
    the interpreter would
    1) see dbms_output.put_line('a'); -- know it is going to print 'a' but doesnt do that yet
    2) see dbms_lock.sleep(10); -- sleep for 10 sec..
    3) see dmbS_output.put_line('b') -- knows it is going to print 'b' but doesnt do that yet
    4) see end; -- ok print 'a' and 'b'
    so somehow , for returning result or printing.. it seems to have done so until the END of the block/procedure/function INSTEAD of intepreting line by line and executing it.
    However, for dbms_lock.sleep(10), its seems to be interpreted and executed immediately in the midst of the block.
    so can i conclude that
    for returning/displaying result, it is done at the end of the block
    for others, it is done during the block
    am i right ?
    Best Regards,
    Noob

    Thinking is always a good thing, but reading docs is helpful too. PL/SQL unit always runs on database server side and always as a unit. dbms_output.put_line('A') simply writes A to a buffer and PL/SQL unit continues to execute. when whole unit completes buffer has all lines written to it. Now client tool SQL*Plus in your case can read buffer content and display it. SQL*PLus does it based on SET SERVEROUTPUT ON/OFF command. I hope now you understand that DBMS_OUTPUT does not provide an interface to to display output on client box but rather store it in a buffer.

  • Why does not drag and drop work?!

    Hello,
    I am trying to implent a drag and drop from a table to an icon representing a trash.
    The drop handler fails in converting the selected rows to a list:
    com.sun.el.MethodExpressionImpl@87d9c00d javax.el.ELException: java.lang.ClassCastException: java.lang.String cannot be cast to java.util.List
    Could you help me to understand why? Below are the details.
    This is the af:table:
    <af:table var="row" rowBandingInterval="0" id="t1"
    value="#{bindings.MyView1.collectionModel}"
    rowSelection="multiple"
    columnStretching="last"
    horizontalGridVisible="false"
    verticalGridVisible="false" fetchSize="-1"
    autoHeightRows="6" width="190"
    disableColumnReordering="true">
    <af:column sortable="true" headerText="Entry" id="c1"
    align="start">
    <af:outputText value="#{row.Description}" id="ot1"/>
    </af:column>
    <af:dragSource actions="MOVE" defaultAction="MOVE"
    discriminant="delete"/>
    </af:table>
    This is the drop area:
    <af:image source="Images/empty_trash_32.png" id="i2">
    <af:dropTarget dropListener="#{backingBeanScope.DropHandlerBean.dropHandler}"
    actions="MOVE">
    <af:dataFlavor flavorClass="org.apache.myfaces.trinidad.model.RowKeySet"
    discriminant="delete"/>
    </af:dropTarget>
    </af:image>
    This is the failing listener listener (the failing point is bold):
    public DnDAction dropHandler(DropEvent dropEvent) {
    DnDAction dnda = DnDAction.NONE;
    if (dropEvent.getProposedAction() == DnDAction.MOVE) { // delete
    RichTable table = (RichTable)dropEvent.getDragComponent();
    //determine the rows that are dragged over
    Transferable t = dropEvent.getTransferable();
    //when looking for data, use the same discriminator as defined
    //on the drag source
    DataFlavor<RowKeySet> df =
    DataFlavor.getDataFlavor(RowKeySet.class, "delete");
    RowKeySet rks = t.getData(df);
    if (rks == null) {
    return DnDAction.NONE;
    Iterator iter = rks.iterator();
    while (iter.hasNext()) {
    //get next selected row key
    System.out.println(rks.toArray().length); // the number of selected rows is ok
    List key = (List)iter.next(); // here gives: java.lang.ClassCastException: java.lang.String cannot be cast to java.util.List
    //make row current so we can access it
    table.setRowKey(key);
    //the table model represents its row by the ADF binding class,
    //which is JUCtrlHierNodeBinding
    JUCtrlHierNodeBinding rowBinding =
    (JUCtrlHierNodeBinding)table.getRowData();
    Row row = (Row)rowBinding.getRow();
    //delete row;
    row.remove();
    //activate animation
    dnda = DnDAction.MOVE;
    return dnda;
    thanks.

    I did try, I obtained this:
    java.lang.NullPointerException
    Why NullPointerException?
    I don't know if this helps, but consider that the collection model comes from a ViewObject built on three EOs with many fields, although the table only shows one column.
    This is the Iterator in my pageDef:
    <table IterBinding="MyView1Iterator" id="MyView1">
    <AttrNames>
    <Item Value="Cod1"/>
    <Item Value="Cod2"/>
    <Item Value="Cod3"/>
    <Item Value="Cod4"/>
    <Item Value="Description"/>
    <Item Value="Cod5"/>
    </AttrNames>
    </table>
    Any idea?
    I will see the Key content with the debugger.

  • Jdbc urls and when does load balancing and failover work?

    I you use a jdbc url with OracleDriver not OracleDataSource because we use dbcp for our connection pooling. What can we expect by putting in two connection descriptors one for each host when an 11g RAC node goes away?
    I know all about ONS and FCF etc but when you are not using OracleDataSource and friends what benefit is there is having mulitple hosts in the jdbc url?
    What is that recognises the other host in the jdbc url when a RAC node goes away? Is that integral to OracleDataSource or anything outside of OracleDriver?
    right now we only have one HOST = in your jdbc url but I'm not sure how we would benefit by adding the second if we are not using OracleDataSource.

    Best I can suggest - step up and become the expert.
    You are dealing with RAC which most people do not have and do not use (based on postings I have seen) so you already have that advantage.
    The dbcp pool doesn't mean anything since it just acts as a wrapper around the Oracle driver.

  • How does PSE 11 and iPhoto work together?

    I am currently trialling PSE 11. I would prefer to keep iPhoto as my organiser while using PSE 11 as my editor. However, it appears that I have to create a separate PSE library meaning that the edits made in PSE will not be reflected in the iPhoto library.
    Other than manually importing and exporting photos between the libraries is there a way round this?

    You can change iPhoto prefs to show the PSE Editor application as the external editor. You will the get the choice when right-clicking on a thumbnail in the iPhoto Library - either Edit in iPhoto or Edit in External Editor.
    The export copy will be created automatically and will show up in the iPhoto Library as a duplicate next to the original once you save in PSE after you finish editing. If you don’t want duplicates and are happy to replace (overwrite) your originals you can set up the PSE prefs to automatically save over original.
