Does GarageBand support Bluetooth output at all?

I have an iPad running IOS 4.3 when I first tried GarageBand it worked through my Bluetooth jam box speaker
But now it doesn't I have tried doing resets etc , but every other sound app works a treat through the jam box , but GarageBand won't. Has anyone cured this problem?

I have the same problem, using iPad and IOS 4.3. I would hope that I am doing something wrong, in my settings somewhere. Wireless speakers are important. My wireless headphones work with all the other sound generating programs. jtcnet

  • Does Garageband support 2 usb mic

    Hi all
I am planning to records my podcast via Garageband.  I have a question, does Garageband support 2 USB microphone at this same time ?  Please help
    Regards
    PL

I am using two Audio Technica AT2020 USB microphones as an aggregate device and it works great in Garageband 6.0.4 on a MacBook Air. I would a just a few notes.
First, you may have issues with your USB ports supplying enough power for two microphones. I am using a powered USB hub and this works well.
Second, I see some issues if I shut down the computer and restart it. I may be doing something wrong, but ended up having to delete the aggregate device and create a new one for it to work properly. This is pretty easy and I have just taken to doing this each time rather than screwing around after starting GarageBand. Your mileage may vary.
Third, I am not able to control the volume on the two microphones in GarageBand - the slider is greyed out. In order to adjust volume, open the aggregate device in the Audio MIDI application and you can adjust the sliders there - this will work while GarageBand is running too. They defaul to a very low level for me and I find that this is needed to get a "hotter" signal in Garageband.
I went this route because I already owned one AT2020 USB. If I was starting over again from scratch I might have just gotten a USB interface/mixer and used regular microphones. Would probably make things easier and wouldn't cost much (if any) more since the AT2020 USB is $50 more expensive than the analog version.
FWIW, I have been really impressed with the quality of the AT2020 USB for recording acoustic guitar and voice.

  • Does iphone support bluetooth MAP technology

Does iphone support bluetooth MAP technology?
I bought a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee using Uconnect and it won't read my text message out loud.

iPhone does support the bluetooth MAP profile as long as it is iPhone 4 and later. Refer to article below for further supported profiles.
iOS: Supported Bluetooth profiles - Apple Support
The article also states that certain profiles have different responses to different devices and that is determined on both sides (the Jeep software and the iPhone). Depending on the software that Jeep is running it may have limited usability with the iPhone. Best thing to do is first, update the iPhone and see if that helps. If that does not work, remove the Jeep as a device from the Bluetooth Menu in the iPhone and re-add it. Third, get in contact with Jeep or uConnect to see if the iPhone is supported with the MAP profile. If it is, see if they can assist in getting it working correctly. A lot of car dealers will also help in getting it working.

  • HT204387 Does iOS support Bluetooth printing, any idea by when would that come out.

    Hi
I am trying to print a receipt using bluetooth on an iPhone app, the printer is a Zebra printer QL 420 plus. I am unable to do so. The iOS documentation states Air Print as a method to print. Is that the only option that we have to print using iOS.
This is urgent as I have a customer delivery.

  • Lumia 1520 does not support Bluetooth Keyboard (HI...

I would very much like to buy a Lumia 1520 as it would spare me from carrying both a phone and a tablet.
However, I am not going to as, for reasons which utterly defeat me, the Bluetooth stack does not support a keyboard. The HID (Human Interface Device) aspect has not been included.
I am utterly baffled by this simple omission. From my Nokia N95 through to my N8 I was able to use a keyboard. I even still have a Nokia one which folds.
Would someone from Nokia be good enough to:-
    a. let me know why this bit of simple but basic functionality has been left out?
    b. when, if ever, it is likely to be included in an update?

    Agreed on all points -
    1. Lack of HID support is a glaring omission that needs to be fixed
    2. Microsoft is responsible for omitting HID support (which existed in Windows Mobile 6.5!)
    3. There is hope for the future when Nokia/Microsoft collaboration is tighter after the merger.
As mentioned above, a WP device can see a bluetooth keyboard - it can even perform the pairing handshake.  It generates a random code, you enter the code on the BT keyboard, the two become paired.  But then nothing.
I can add a little insight to this conversation: If you were to ask Microsoft folks, the answer would probably go something like this: "We have a finite number of resources.  So to support one feature, we'd have to cut something else.  What feature would you be willing to lose in exchange for HID support?"
I am basing this on similar conversations I've seen on MSFT discussion boards about support for entire-device backups - not piece-meal app-supported "in the cloud" data storage, but total backup/restore functionality.
I personally think it is embarassing that Windows Phone does not support the HID profile.  I know we're getting close.  The code is already on Windows RT for tablets.  So I sure hope it's in the pipeline for WP.  Time will tell I suppose.

  • Does N810 support Bluetooth SAP(SIM Access Profile...

Does N810 indeed support Bluetooth SAP? If so, N810 must have its own GSM modem, does N810 have modem?

It has no GSM modem because it isn't a mobile phone. It cannot use GSM or 3G networks.
It's an internet tablet that can be used to make VoIP calls over wi-fi.
I believe it supports SAP because it can access the sim on a mobile phone thats connected via bluetooth.
You won't get a reply from a nokia engineer here as this is a user to user forum. If you want a comment from nokia you need to use the "contact us" link near the top of the page.

  • Camera Raw in PSE11 does not support Nikon D610 NEF; all software updates done accomplished - which Camera Raw version to download and where to find?

    Hi,
Just bought a new camera (Nikon D610) and found out that Camera Raw in Photoshop Elements 11 does not support the RAW (NEF) files. Works fine with the Nikon D5200. PSE11 states that it's up to date. Support documents on Adope Website do not help at all. Some say the D610 is supported other say it's not. If I have to update Camera Raw, which version do I have to use for PSE11? Where can I find the download file?
I find it somehow strange, that it's not possible to contact the support in a common way, but have to use this Adobe Community. Anyway, if it works... :-)
Would be great, if someone could give me a hint, how to solve the problem.
    Best Regards,
    Boris

Just got the new PSE12 and found out that Camera Raw 8.4 plug in can not be installed, if the system runs on Vista!
So I got a new Nikon camera, new software (which can not be send back) and it looks like that I will need new system software and probably a new PC... :-(

  • Does Iphone support bluetooth file transfer,

will Iphone sync to a bluetooth USB dongal. for photo (jpg) transfer ?
      Mac OS X (10.3.9)

No, it does not. The required OBEX [OBject EXchange] Bluetooth profile is either missing, defeated or intentionally not enabled.
It's hard to say why the decision was made not to include it, as the pressure not to do so is not typical of at&t historically. It is much more typical of the behavior Verizon has engaged in to protect its 5¢ per transfer GetItNow! offering.

  • Why the iPod Touch does not support GPS Bluetooth Reciever

Why the iPod Touch does not support Bluetooth GPS.
I had to make a jailbreak justto install and use roqyBT a Bluetooth GPS receiver,
This aplication run witch these software:
    TomTom
    Navigon
    iGO
    Maps
    Google Earth
    Around me
And run wich several receives as iBT 747, QSTARZ Q-1000, Holux M-1000 and my Nokia LD-3W.
But I didn´t like to use Jailbreak, I only make the jailbreak to use a GPS bluetooth.

Ipod touch supports bluetooth for stereo headsets/speakers and some peer to peer apps from the app store.
Why is not a question that can be answered here.
    Only Apple would know.

  • Does J9 supports MIDLets?

    Hi all, i'm a newbie J2ME developer.
I'm trying to run a MIDet (that runs perfectly on Nokia Phone) on a PocketPc device with J9; i've created the .lnk with the correct params (i think) but i receive an error message when i launch it: "main thread exception java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:javax.microedition.midlet.MIDlet"; the .jar file is in the diectory specified in the .lnk file, but i don't know why the J9 stills not found the Midlet; does someone knows if J9 supports completely J2ME MIDlets? What can i use to run it on PocketPc device?? Does J9 support Bluetooth API's?

    thanx a lot!!!
NOW i've installed the MIDP version of J9 but i've a NEW problem: i'm still trying to run the example midlet that comes with j9 but it doesn't do anything! Until i can't run that midlet i'll not be sure that the VM is correctly configured on PPC to try my own midlet.
    What can i do now?
I've installed the WebSphere Everyplace Micro Environment MIDP version on my PC with PPC connected with ActiveSync and the folders were correctly created on PPC.
Another simple question: does J9 support Bluetooth Java API?

I can pair my iPhone 4 with my MacBook and my Macbook Pro but they will not connect. My iPhone keeps telling me it does not support this even with bluetooth turned on.The devices section keeps searching all the time. Is this an antenna problem? Or something else ?

Your iphone is right, it is not supported. The iphone's bluetooth protocols do not include file transfer, but are intendes only for headsets, stereo headphones, cars, and keyboards.

  • Does Garageband for iPad support audio output over Airplay?

Since I don't currently have an Airplay output device on my network, I can't tell if Garageband supports this. Anyone know?
    Thanks.

When the iPad or iTunes is sending music/video to an AirPlay Output device, it is actually sending the music/video file over to that device to play rather then just sending 2 channels of audio.
For this reason, GarageBand would be a difficult task asnit would need to send up to 10 files (8 tracks and 2 effects) over the network to play in perfect sync.
For this reason, garageBand would not be stable and you would have a large amount of drag.
