It worked perfectly for me for a year until I replaced it with Apple TV.
Having said that, I can't guarantee that it will work with every app.  Give it a shot and try it immediately.  If it doesn't work with the app(s) that are important to you, return it for a refund.
By the way, I did find that the Apple TV does support every app that the cable did but no additional apps.  Although it does have other bennies, for this purpose it's an "electronic cable."

    Yes, the iPad (1 or 2) can connect to a wireless network provided by an AirPort base station.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    Websites and third party Apps need enabling before they will allow AirPlay of Video content. Some Website/App developers have not enabled their products, some simply haven't got around to it yet, others have stated that they won't be enabling AirPlay (likely as a result of licensing issues).

    Not sound, distorted sound, it stokes while I'm working with it, the app that I use the most is iCal, I can not find the appointments that I recently made, I can make them three or four times and it doesn't appear at all, some apps like 53, You Doodle and other apps to work up graphics , crash constantly .     It certainly allows you to copy ripped CDs. Just did that myself last week.

    No, iChat will work with AIM and you do not need to download AIM for Mac to get it to work.
    To remove one of your buddies, select it in your buddy list, then in the Menu Bar, choose Buddies > Remove Buddy...
    iChat also supports the Jabber IM protocol, and it seems from your post that iChat tries to connect to your buddy using Jabber instead of the AIM protocol & network. Why, I can't explain. Maybe you can get more help in the iChat forum.
