Does I need to upgrade ?
Hi,
We have a problem of incomplete data with the inventory.
After many days of tuning and searching I finally found that for all HP DC7800 and HP DC7900 no data are inserted into the processor table (zen_processor).
We are running Zenworks Desktop Management SP1. I've take a look into the post-sp1 version and didn't found anything about this specific issue.
Anyone know that if I upgrade to the IR3a with the last HP that will solve this problem ?

AirDrop uses special technology that is only available in the newest generation of wifi/bluetooth radio chip in the latest iOS devices. Airdrop can actually connect between devices without technically being logged into a network. Only the latest chips support that tech.

How does one update Flash? I currently cannot watch videos on You Tube, it says I need to upgrade, I have no problem doing this on a PC.
If you're not using chrome you can just go to adobe's website (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/) and download the newest flash player. You run the .dmg and then open the application, which updates flash. With the latest version of flash there should be a preference pane within system preferences to allow you to change settings and check for updates.

I have aperture 3.1.2 running on os 10.6.8 mac book pro. Lost some features in aperature when I upgraded my camera (no longer shows focus points, does not recognize RAW files) Would like to upgrade to aperture 3.5, but do not want to loose any pictures in my extensive library. Do I have to upgrade one vesion at a time, or can I jump? I believe I also need to upgrade my os, but not sure which to do first? Any help would be appreciated...

3. I have three mobile me email addresses. One for myself, one for my wife and one I use for my business. What happens to these.
You can convert them to be used in iCloud.
4. My wife and I also use mobile me to sync our calendars across an Ipad (original) and two Iphones (3Gs). Both Iphones and Ipad are still currently using IOS4, and I am reluctant to upgrade this to IOS 5 as I have heard some horror stories. If I fail to upgrade to IOS 5, will this create confusion with my Apple ID's. (There already is a lot of confusion with these- Apple appear to not have down their homework)
If you don't change the settings you have now, I'm sure it will stay working. I believe Apple is phasing out MobileMe and you'd be forced to upgrade eventually.
5. Will Icloud allow me to transfer my Icalendar across seamlessly? This is Ical 4.04 whic came with my Imac. Does this get upgraded if I update to Lion?
Yes, it will get upgraded. I have my calendar on Lion and my iPhone 5.0.1 working seamlessly at the moment. That doesn't mean you won't have problems because with new technology that can be expected. Make sure you do a back up if you're worried about losing data. -
I have an InDesign CC subscription, does that give me free website hosting through Business Catalyst, or do I need to upgrade?
Leopard (10.5) is not available as a download or as a disk purchase from Apple. You may find copies on e-bay for sale.
If your iMac can accept Snow Leopard (10.6), a disk can be purchased from the Apple online store.

Hello. I have just built a website using iWeb but cannot upload it. I curently have the 25gb account. There doesn't appear to be any facility here for the net. Am I correct in thinking I need an upgrade, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks
iCloud does not provide website hosting. You will need to find another website hosting service - there are many to choose from - and upload your site there. How you do this depends on what version of iWeb you have.
In order to upload your existing site in iWeb '09 and above:
Click on the name of the site in the sidebar: the publishing settings pane will open. Set 'Publish to' to 'FTP'. Enter the name of the site and a contact address (if desired).
In the 'FTP Server Settings' section you will need to know the server address (your hosting service can tell you that), and your username and password for that service. Your site will be published in a folder with its name at root level of the server, with an index.html file at root level (which will overwrite any index.html file which may be there already). The 'Directory/Path' field may need to include a path such as '/webspace/' or 'ht_docs/' - this is dependent on your hosting service and they should tell you this. If you want to publish within a folder you can add that to the path.
You can then click the 'Test connection' button so that iWeb can check that it can get access to your server space. You should enter the URL of the site in the 'URL' field so that rss feeds and internal links have the correct address.
To publish using an earlier version of iWeb:
From the File menu choose 'Publish to a folder'. You should create a folder somewhere convenient specifically for this and choose it when publishing to a folder: this folder should not contain anything else.
You now need an FTP program (FTP is the 'protocol' used for uploading) to upload the contents of the folder to your server.Cyberduck is free (donation requested): Transmit is $34 but I think better. You will need the server address (your hosting service can tell you that), and your username and password for that service. You can drag the contents of your folder to your webspace, or create a folder there and drag the contents to that if you prefer.
Some facilities that iWeb provided when hosted on MobileMe will not work on other servers: comments on weblogs and photos, password-protecting your site (some hosts may provide this), searching in the weblog, and a hits counter (again, some hosts can provide code for this). Slideshows in iWeb will work on other hosts than MobileMe (they use different code when FTPing which doesn't depend on scripts hosted on MobileMe as the MobileMe version does); however there is an issue with the 'buttons' which control the slideshow which are images hosted on me.com - these depend on images which used to be hosted on MobileMe. I've installed iPhoto11 and when opening for the 1st time it says that needs to upgrade my library and it is doing this task since yesterday. Is this right??
No. Quit and try again. If that fails again,
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

I don't like the macbook air because it looks weird from the side view. So how long does that macbook pro the one I posted last before needing an upgrading to the next gen mac laptop because if I need to upgrade ever 2 or 3 years I will not be buying because can't afford to upgrade every time, since I had my pick windows 7 OS pc since 2010 feb and my laptop Windows 7 OS since 2011 also my windows xp since 2001. The only apple thing I is Iphone 4s, used to own an iphone 4 and Ipod 3rd Gen 32GB.Apple typically issues a newer OS X version every year now and one can usually upgrade all Mac's at least 2 times and the more powerful ones 3-4 timesif your lucky.
If you don't upgrade your denied security updates and new features in about 2 years afterwards of a new release. Also just because Apple says one can upgrade doesn't meant the machine will run as peachy and fast as on the older versions.
However if Apple switches processors like they did PPC to Intel, then upgrades to newer OS X versions isn't going to happen.
Third party software also requires upgrades, most are paid.
If you want more longevity between OS/software/hardware changes, then I suggest a Windows 7 tower as the parts are exchangeable/replaceable and upgradable, also Windows 7 will get security and support until 2020, that's 7 more years (and likely a bit longer if businesses demand it)
Being a Mac user usually requires a deeper pockets and a willingness to be more at the cutting edge, accepting of lots of change every year and buying hardware more frequently.
It's not for everyone, especially if your a 3D gamer, a Windows 7 tower is much better as it won't break so often, except form malware and System Restore Disks and Iamges built into Windows 7 will take care of that if you do it before using the machine.
For example, I have a 2011 Early 17" MacBook Pro, the last of it's kind that came with OS X 10.6, it's only 2 years old.
Now OS X is at 10.8 and I refuse to upgrade to it's poor interface, so I'm already being denied a more secure and upgraded Safari 6, so I switched to firefox.
That's life on Mac's, being denied and left behind. -

i cannot install apps that are upgraded to ios4. im using iphone 2g 3.1.3 this makes me sad.. why does apple need to updates many apps when we cannot update an iphone 2g anymore..
I am having the exact same problem with trying to sync my iPad with my computer. To make a long story short, I had to reinstall Windows for my computer and therefore had to reinstall itunes.
I have done back ups in the past for my ipod touch and other ipods with no problems, but unfortunately I have never been able to back up my iPad. During a sync, the iPad would always disconnect from my computer and it would never finish. it would say the connection was lost, but nothing is wrong with the connection.
So now I have over 100 apps and thousands of pictures that I am afraid will be deleted if I run the sync in itunes. I have tried to transfer purchases and it goes through the list of apps, but nothing is ever transferred.
Any help would be appreciated. I am not interested in jailbreaking my iPad to solve this problem. There should be a fix for this and I want to upgrade to ios 4.3 as the original poster. Please help -

Then, go to the admin dashboard of your site and the launch the site live by paying for it or redeeming a free site.
Add domain to the site
Change name-servers at domain registrar
