Does icloud affect your ability to burn cd's on your laptop

everytime I download i cloud to my computer ... I start having problems with my burner. i don't know if it's icloud, itunes match or something else

I now have the same problem, not being able to burn a CD, but I've always created a playlist first, so that can't be what I'm doing wrong. Right now, iTunes is saying it's writing a track, and it's been saying that for the past 10 minutes. Trying to stop the burn crashes iTunes and I have to restart.
It's not my CD burner because I can successfully use Toast lite to burn CDs, including ones using audio files from iTunes.
It's definitely an iTunes problem, one that I didn't use to have with earlier versions of the software.

Simply mount a disc in the drive, then in Aperture Export your versions to that location.  Later in the Finder, Burn.  No need for special function.

  • HT4597 How transferring to iCloud affects your email accounts

I switched over to iCloud, but I was still using Snow Leopard. Now I've upgraded to Lion but the email on my hard drive has not transfered over. Should it be doing this? Can I control what is transfered to the Cloud or not?

Back up any Mail you have in your account, delete your account from mail preferences, then add it back as an iCloud account using your ID and password.

    help me please

You can't. Return the phone for a refund, if you can, because without the previous owner's Apple ID/Password, you will not be able to re-activate the phone. It will be useless to you.
Apple can't/won't help you with this.

  • HT1688 does singing into the icloud affect my unlimited plan?

does singing into the icloud affect my unlimited plan?

What I’m asking is if I’m grandfathered into my old unlimited plan, does signing into the cloud change or go beyond the parameters of my existing unlimited plan, effectively changing my plan to a standard plan offered today? I’ve been given to understand that that free portion of the cloud has a limited data amount, well going beyond the first stage of free cloud use effect my plan?

  • I get "mail server does not recognize your Apple ID and password" when I try to share a picture via email in iPhoto.  My iCloud email works ok otherwise.  I have check all mail settings for ID and password.

In the iPhoto preferences ==> accounts delete the account and re-enter it - sometimes that resolves this
Or IMHO the best long term solution is to set Apple Mail as the iPhoto e-mail client in the iPhoto preferences and use it - it has a number of advatages and has fewer problems

It looks like the developer's of that app, or Apple, have got the wrong search name for it in the store - you could try contacting the developer and pointing it out to them so that they can get it corrected. Currently it looks like you can only find the app either by using the link (as you've included in your post), or by searching for the developer's name (Page Foundry Inc) in the store.
For searching the store, when you search for something then the first result(s) should be those whose title matches what you searched for - so if you search for 'ebook reader' then as there is an app with that exact name it will be first in the results, other apps will then be listed after it.

No, it will not affect the iPhone 6 content if you wipe the old iPhone 4s.

  • TS4006 when using iCloud between mac and pad, what does this mean - "your iPad will  no longer back up to your computer automatically when you sync with iTunes"

when using iCloud between mac and pad, what does this mean - "your iPad will  no longer back up to your computer automatically when you sync with iTunes"
DONT WORRY EVERYONE, FOUND THE ANSWER I NEEDED FROM ANOTHER POSTING - THANK YOU

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
You don't need to do anything, you have chosen to back up to iCloud instead of iTunes.
Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.

  • Solution .Itunes does not recognise your your burner

If itunes does not recognise your burner, look in (my computer) if you have more drive than you actually have.if this is the case, you have a logical drive. You must go in your control panel and disable it. When you will try to burn .Itunes is gonna see your burner and ask you if you want to use it .

I also have a similar problem.
I have an 80g. Library was in fine working order.
Now, I had my computer wiped out, with a new itunes library.
I want to transfer my ipod music to my itunes library, but all of the programs to help me do this will not recognize my ipod, even on disk use and manual settings.
What do I do without clearing my ipod music?

  • Why does iCloud not sync to Mac's

After all the hype about icloud and its ability to sync all your apple proucts.  I just recently found that my ipad does not sync to my macbook pro automatically, why not.  This really upsets me.  Is there a fix on the horizon?  DW

It is not Mac to Mac.
Why not look up iCloud support, it was never offered as anything outside iOS 5 supported devices.
Maybe if you would stop reading into things what isn't there.

  • Does iCloud force-resize my pictures from iPhoto?

I enter my photos in IPhoto. They travel to all my devices with iCloud. Does iCloud resize them without asking me?
Please someone say no. If yes, then I need to migrate away from iPhoto.

There are many, many ways to access your files in iPhoto:   You can use any Open / Attach / Browse dialogue. On the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Command-Click for selecting multiple pics.
(Note the above illustration is not a Finder Window. It's the dialogue you get when you go File -> Open)
You can access the Library from the New Message Window in Mail:
There's a similar option in Outlook and many, many other apps.  If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto.
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser.
If you want to access the files with iPhoto not running:
For users of 10.6 and later:  You can download a free Services component from MacOSXAutomation  which will give you access to the iPhoto Library from your Services Menu.
Using the Services Preference Pane you can even create a keyboard shortcut for it.
For Users of 10.4 and 10.5 Create a Media Browser using Automator (takes about 10 seconds) or use this free utility Karelia iMedia Browser
    Other options include:
Drag and Drop: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
File -> Export: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
Show File:  a. On iPhoto 09 and earlier:  Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.    3.b.
b: On iPhoto 11 and later: Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Reveal in Finder -> Original. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.
