Does iCloud still support MobileMe find my iPod

Hi,
I recently found out that my iPod 2nd Generation supports a feature called Find my iPod. I have it synced with my iCloud (MobileMe) account but everytime I go on iCloud my iPod is not there. Did Apple stop supporting this feature?
Thanks

I assumed that you had an iCloud account with an @me ID because you migrated your MobileMe account to iCloud.  You have to have iOS 5 or higher to use iCloud and the Find My iPod feature.  You'll have to update your iPod first.  See http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4972.

  • Does iCloud still support my lyrics?

I would like sometimes to be able to read my lyrics... On my matched songs in my library on my Mac they are still there, but when I listen/download a song frmo the iCloud both the album art and lyrics are somehow not there..
    any clues?
    Michael

iTunes store downloads don't contain lyrics, so matched content won't either. Album art should download, but some have notedd in cases it doesn't or at least doesn't immediately. I have most of my album art, but not all.

  • TS4006 My ipod was stolen and I was trying to track it via icloud but they've disabled the location services. Will they still receive my "Find My iPod" messages?

My ipod was stolen and I was trying to track it via icloud but they've disabled the location services. Will they still receive my "Find My iPod" messages?

If they disabled services, then they disabled Find My iPhone (if they're smart), so you won't be able to track it and/or wipe it.  Messages won't work either.

Use the Software Update and you can find it.  Or...

    Hello,
BPC 10 does not support SQL 2014 yet. It will in a future SP release but that is still tentative. BPC 10.1 SP02 is scheduled to support it but that too is tentative as well.

  • Does icloud email support the DMARC standard?

    Hello,
Does icloud email support the DMARC standard?  Some of the emails that come into my icloud.com should an unknown dmarc status in the headers.  For example:
    pass=?; dmarc-policy=(noPolicy); s=; d=
is contained in the header of some emails.   I send the same email to a gmail account and it shows dmarc setup properly.  Are their special rules for icloud for DMARC?
    Thanks,

If I'm not mistaken, GMail is more robust in allowing you control over whether you automatically reply using the address to which a message was sent, to avoid inadvertently revealing your real or main address when dealing with mail from aliases, unless iCloud does that by default (I've only used this type of feature through GMail but was tending to my old Mac.com address and ran across your post...).

  • Does iCloud Drive support PDF

II've decided to maximise my storage options on the iCloud Drive but finding unable to open PDF files. Is there a limit as to what the icloud drive will support.
    thank you

    Hi David,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
From your post I understand that you are wondering how you can access the information stored in iCloud Drive, and what can be stored on it.  Check out the information below to learn more about iCloud Drive.
What types of files can I store in iCloud Drive?
You can store any type of file in iCloud Drive, as long as it's less than 15 GB in size. There's no restriction on file type, so you keep all of your work documents, school projects, presentations, and more up to date across all of your devices. Learn more about managing your iCloud Drive files.
If you want to access your iCloud Drive data, you can do so by doing the following.
How do I access all my files in iCloud Drive?
You can access your files in iCloud Drive any of these ways:
Using any supported web browser, you can go to iCloud Drive or iWork for iCloud beta at iCloud.com. In iWork for iCloud beta, you can find your Pages, Numbers, and Keynote files.
On your Mac with OS X Yosemite, you can go to iCloud Drive in Finder.
On your PC with Windows 7 or later and iCloud for Windows, you can go to iCloud Drive in File Explorer.
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 8, you can access your files from Apple apps like Pages, Numbers, and Keynote, or any apps that support iCloud Drive.

  • Does iCloud sync videos taken on my iPod touch?

Can anyone please tell me if iCloud syncs videos taken on my iPod touch and if so, where do I find them?  Thank you.

Videos and photos in your camera roll are backed up when you back up to iCloud. However back up is for restoring your iOS device, you cannot selectively access or restore individual files in the iCloud backup.

  • Does Apple still make games for the iPod nano, and if so how can I find them in the iTunes Store?

I know the iTunes Store has been updated and I haven't been able to find the page with the iPod click wheel games.

The iPod click wheel games were removed from the store about a year or so ago.

  • Does iCloud mean no MobileMe gallery anymore?

I have been trying all night to upload a new slideshow to MobileMe, as I have done NUMEROUS times before, but apparently not since iCloud has taken over.  Is there no way I can share my photos/slideshows through this web-accessed gallery?  What is going to happen to all the photo albums/videos I have on the gallery now?  If I can't do this anymore, it is really going to suck.  I have family from Maine to California and points in-between and we've always used MobileMe to share our photos.  Tell me it isn't so!

The MobileMe Gallery will terminate, and its contents be deleted, at the end of June but until then you should be able to access it in the usual way.Make sure you are using the correct ID - the username part of your MobileMe email address, not your iTunes ID if this is different.
If you have any pictures in the Gallery which don't also have copies on your Mac you should download them. You will need to find a third-party host: this page examines some options -

  • How does iCloud work? I find it confusing (I'm the complete opposite of tech savvy)

Mainly, I'm confused about backups. (FYI I have an iPhone 5s running on iOS version 7.1.2) How do I know if my phone is automatically backing up or not? Also, if I have already backed up my phone to iCloud, when I back it up again, if I have deleted things since the last backup (texts, photos, apps, contacts, whatever) are those deleted items still saved in the iCloud, or does the new backup replace the old one? Is there a way to delete things that I don't want saved to the cloud anymore? I already looked at the help topics and stuff online but still don't quite understand it all. Apple's wording just doesn't make sense to me. Any tips and tricks for using the clould and how it works are greatly appreciated.

There are a couple of ways of seeing whether it is automatically backing up.
Settings > iCloud > Backup will show the date of the last backup to iCloud
Settings > General > Usage > Manage Storage (in the iCloud section, not the Storage section) > device name > shows the date and size of the latest backup.
A restore is all or nothing and will restore what was on your phone as of the last backup. You can delete the entire backup if desired by going to Settings > General > Usage > Manage Storage (in the iCloud section, not the Storage section) > device name and scroll to the bottom of the screen.
