Does iMac 2011 model support 3D movies??

Its been a while that i have been downloading all HD movies for the best clarity to watch in my iMac 27", purchased last year.. Now i feel like downloading 3D movies to watch in my iMac.. but i wanna know if i can view 3D movies in my iMac screen.. i knw many 3D movies come with glasses now for purchsae.. now i can purchase those for once and then can download those kinda 3D based movies.. so i just wanna know if my display supports..
A gentle request, Please keep the answers simple and not much on technical basis.. simple yes r no, and if "yes" then the kinda movies i should buy ro download... and player which supports.. those kinda details...

No if it requires glasses specific to the make of TV that you are viewing it on.
If they have the old red/green (or whatever appropriate pair of colors) 3D they you could use those kind of glasses. But IMO that isn't very pleasant.

Hello all.
So i bought a used iMac 2011 model... looks insanely beautiful.. this is my first iMac but i have been using a Macbook bro resently... fell in love with the way Macs work so much easier with my iPad so i made the switch from PC to Macs.
so after days of downloading and setting up my iMac i finally got down to sinc my iPad and starting to enjoy my new Mac but the iPad stops to sinc at step 5: "Determining Track"
i thought it might be a cord issue and found a small piece of foam in the socket... took it out and retry.. failed.... reset iPad and resinc as new ipad rather then from back up... failed... reset iPad to go sinc via wi-fi and retry.... failed....
i honestly dont know what else to do... i cant just remove iTunes from the Mac... and resetting the iPad didnt help either... i found a step to maybe resetting sinc history.. will try that tonight.. but i dont know if this would be the casee...
Using updated iTunes and updated iPad 1 OS.
any thoughts on this?>>

After phoning Apple tech support I got some more info, it seems it's the Boot camp upgrade dying as it is being reported in event viewer,

I know it says 3.1.4.0 but I have run the 3.1 to 3.2 update package. The filename of the executable is BootCamp_3.2_64-bit.exe
So it seems to me there is an issue with the software?

Does premiere elements 13 support canon mov files?

Does Premiere Elements support Canon mov files or must I convert the mov file to a different format first? If I have to convert the mov file first, what file conversion program should I use and what file type should I convert it to?

2. Premiere Elements 10 on a computer with a NVIDIA GeForce video card/graphics card
is bad news. The typical fix is to roll back the driver version to about May 2013. But, when the
computer operating system is Windows 8 or 8.1 64 bit, often there is not an older enough driver
version to revert to in order to get Premiere Elements 10 to display and work properly.

You should not expect to run into this problem in Premiere Elements 13. But, go tryout before purchase

Can Macbook Pro Early 2011 model support 16 Gb RAM?

I own an early 2011 model macbook pro and was looking to upgrade the ram. I know it says that the maximum is 8 Gb but i have seen outside sources telling me that 16 Gb is fine. Is it possible or safe for my laptop to do this?

20" iMac WVGA (854x480) support for movie projecotr?

Hello everyone
I plan to buy a 20" iMac and use it to drive my Infocus IN72 projector via Front Row. The projector has a native solution of 854x480 (WVGA).
Does the iMac support this resolution via the DVI output?
2nd question: What happens with the built in display when I use Front Row to play video on the external display (or projector)?

There is no problem to connect this projector to the iMac!
Probably you need to buy a mini-DVI to VGA or DVI adaptor
It will support the native resolution!
There are two differnt set-ups possible:
 Mirroring the screens:
So both the projector and internal display will show exact the same.
But both will have the resolution of the smallest screen (854x480).
So the build in screens looks quite bad because off the low resolution.
FrontRow will be on both screens
 Extending the desktop:
Now your desktop will be extended to the beamer!
Both screens can run in native resolution!
Then you have to chose which screen is the main display.
The main display is the screen with the dock and finder bar.
Both screens can be the main display.
Frontrow will be on the mail display.
So the projector does need to be the main display!
If the projector reslotution does not show up,
then use one off these applications to force the right resolution:

Hi, I got lucky and came across a free set of 4GB 2Rx8 PC3-10600S-09-11-F3 Ram. My question is, if an iMac model A1224 supports 1333MHz or not?

Does iMac G5 (2005) support Airport Extreme?

Since my computer is a model prior to this, I'm wondering whether it is compatible with the Extreme card or not. How do I find out whether I can install an Airport Extreme Card in this model?
And second question, if I can't use an Airport Extreme Card, where can I find an old regular Airport Card that Apple no longer makes/sells?

Original SSD kit for apple iMac 27 2011 or OWC SSD Apple 27" iMac 2011 Modell

is it better to use Origina SSD kit Cable for Upgrade the 27 2011 iMac with a samsung pro SSD? or i can use OWC cable. is there a differece ? the Origina SSD from apple is 2.5 tims more Expensive then the OWC cable.

Difficult to say without seing the machine. It sounds as if you installed the SSD drive yourself. If that is the case you may have voided the guarantee and Apple Care extended warranty.
If Apple installed the drive, all should be well. Apple hardware and work usually carries a 12 month guarantee.

Apple always uses the crappiest components in their computers. This assures that they constantly fail and fall apart within days.

I have an iMac 2011 model. Keep it up to date. When I try to turn it on, I have a blank screen and a series of beeps. Tried pressing the command and R keys. But it keeps beeping. Anyone experience this before?

Another update to my burning problem...in my movies folder there is an img file (states it is a classic disk image-2.82GB) after I have tried burning a DVD unsuccessfully and when I open the img file I see 1) AUDIO_TS AND 2) VIDEO_TS files. I 'control' clicked the file and tried burning this folder onto a disc. Result it seemed to burn both files onto DVD but still couldn't view video.

Problem logging off windows 7 on AD domain - Sound Card issue New model iMac 2011

I am looking for help for a strange problem we have on our new 21.5inch iMac computers (mid-2011 model), Our whole IT team have worked for a week to find solutions and we have exhausted all of our ideas. Please note we have an identical setup on our old mid-2010 model iMacs, which experience NONE of the same problems, windows logon and log offs are quick and painless. We have conducted side by side identical tests, so this forces us to assume it is a hardware/driver issue.
Basically our iMacs have BootCamp installed with Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 is our default operating system. We have joined these computers to our Active Directory Domain and the users are all roaming with redirected folders.
The issue is the following: When a domain user logs off, it can take up to 25 minutes for the User Profile Session to finally log off and return to the normal Ctrl-Alt-Del menu, the next user who logs on usually is just left hanging and with no ability to logon. After a hard-restart the system logs on normally, but then can experience same problems at logoff.
We see the issue when the user watches lots of Flash Player videos on a browser such as Firefox and Chrome, although we've seen the same problem when other applications are used on the computer such as Windows Live Movie Maker.
So far we have found only one solution: If we disable the Cirrus Logic Audio Driver CS4206A (AB 9), and High Definition Audio Driver from the Sound, Video and Game Controllers within Device Manager and restart the computer, the system behaves normally, logon and log off times are a few seconds. But naturally we have no sound which is unacceptable.
We have tried everything we can think of including: Fresh installs of both OS, full updates of OS's, Firmware and Software, Manually updating sound drivers, changing users and AD Domains and attempts to force stop all services on logout etc.
We would appreciate any and all help to get to the bottom of this, including advice on what to try next.

Just wanted to feedback on this and say our solution was the following:
Download and installed Universal Driver Pack within Win 7 , which included a AMD High Definition Audio Driver and replaced the High Definition Audio Driver Installed.
I have also informed Apple and Microsoft of this issue, hopefully someone will take some notice and update the driver.
