I was just curious if I could use an hdmi adapter for my ipad 3 and was wondering if it supports input. If so would it support Xbox input? Cheers guys.

It could be that it's too old. I have the same problem. Apple has a HDMI to DVI adapter, if you have a DVI input, which is how I connect my Apple TV. But if not here's an adapter for you.

The latest Bose Wave SoundTouch music system still uses a single 3.5 mm analog Aux port. You would connect the two using an analog audio cable with 3.5 mm stereo jacks on either end.

You need to find out what video out you have on your iMac, and what kind of video inputs there are on your TV.
It will help to know exactly what model iMac and exactly what make/model TV you have.
Depending on the exact model iMac you have, it may have miniVGA, miniDVI, miniDisplayPort or Thunderbolt output. Your TV may have composite, S-video, component, DVI, VGA or HDMI inputs. Once you confirm what kind of ports your iMac and TV have, then we can probably suggest the correct cable or adapter so you can connect them to each other.

Thanks, I actually meant a converter box I just wanted to make sure that using that would work. With Amazon FireTV Sticks for example I jhave been told that only a direct HDMI connection to the TV would allow the device to work at all.

Using a dll function that does not have any inputs from a VI

Hello all, I'm very new to Labview, I have wraped a dll library using the LVlib wizard and now I am trying to use it in a project. I have a function that does not take any inputs or return any thing except that a struct is populated with some status information as part of the call. I am able to draw a StartInterface VI because my void startInterface(const char* configFile, struct status_struct* status) takes the location of a configutation file as an input. But I can not figure out how to connect my Call Library Node to my a function vi that does not have any inputs ( void shutdownInterface(struct status_struct* status)).
Note that the status struct is deffined to be only and out put at the creation of the LVLIB.

I think I am aware of the conotations of inputs and outputs when I created the lvlib I specified the argument struct status_struct* status as only an output instead of the default of input and output.
I do not think that I am doing anything as complex as function callbacks. My immediate goal is to have an executable (I have application builder) with two buttons and two three text fields one text field for the input of the config file, two text-fields for a cstring that is contained in the status struct; one button to start the interface and one button to stop the interface.
This is in all likely hood a case of my self being too dense and missing something fundimental ;-) I just can't figure out how to wire the shut down method after I've configured the call library node. See the attached pictures:

WSDL for WSDL based Proxy that does not have any input

I am trying to create a service which is based on a db adapter. The db adapter is created using a procecure that does not accept any input and gives out a cursor. I have created a
proxy based on a wsdl which was created by me. I have not given any soap:body in the input as I dont have any input for this service. When I test the service it is not going into the
request pipeline instead what ever the input (Here input in the sense even the proxy does not have any input as per the wsdl we need to give some xml tag to test it right?)
to the proxy service is getting echoed back. It is neither going inside the request pipline nor Invoking the business service. When I create a proxy service as a plain xml then It is
working fine. I am very confused and donno what to do.. Kindly help me on this.

it depends on the selection algorithm you have on the proxyservce
on the fourth tab you can dispatch based on soapaction/body/header/etc
you could dispatch on the soapaction and skip the body

does ipad 4 A1460 work with CDMA network in yemen (YEMENMOBILE) ?
if it work can i switch b/w CDMA and GSM when i move b/w Yemen and Saudi ?
can i buy cdma data plan +sim card and install it in ipad ? or there is other way ?

The A1460 model is infact CDMA capable.

Probably not. CDMA unlike GSM is not unlockable. The Settings for CDMA networks must be provisioned into the CDMA chip at the time of manufacturing, and its very difficult to modify this after the fact. Also CDMA devices must be registered with the carrier they will be assigned to. They must exist in the carrier's database beforehand.

If the Yemen provider issues you a Sim card, you can insert that into the GSM sim card slot on the iPad and connect to their network that way, again if they support it. This would not be CDMA but GSM.

No such thng as a CDMA sim card. sim cards are only for GSM. Again if the Yemen carrier offers sim cards to connect to their network you can insert it into the sim card slot and use their service that way if they support it as such.
I suggest you contact the Yemen carrier and ask about their device policies. BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) is not normally an accepted policy with CDMA carriers.

Repeated tries to install iTunes continues to fail. Installing on Acer laptop using Windows 7.
Error: does not have program associated with it for performing this action
We have done the following: open Default programs, clicked associate a file type, clicked on change program button and selected a program to open with and clicked OK/enter.
The installation continues. we get to the finish window; click finish.
Next error: iTunes has been installed incorrectly.
So, what do we do to get iTunes working?

Jst got new computer and want to make it my main i-tunes for i-pod. It shows up when plugged in but it won't stay in the computers music library so when unplugged theres no music. Does it have to do with homesharing? How do I move orig stuff to new comp?

When I plug in my i-pod mine shows up, but my music and all my previous purchases aren't in the new computer so when I unplug my i-pod everything goes away and there is nothing. I've recently updated my iphone 4s with the ios7 update and there was a bug fix I also downloaded recently but I hadn't noticed anything wrong at the time. I know it's not happened that often today but does anyone have any problems with their 'slide to unlock' button and have to reload their iphone again? Do you think there'll be a bug fix for it? Just worried as it's not old and I have a feeling I shouldn't have bothered with the update at all.

Why would you think it's a bug? If it were a bug EVERYONE would be having the same issue.

You cannot "update" from what you have to any of the applications you mention. It will have to be a straight purchase or subscription at full price.
Photoshop is a professional level application that makes no apologies for its very long and steep learning curve.
Lightroom is all about volume, and very light editing.
