Thank you and Merry Christmas - would the secure server be at Apple? I have at home two (2) wifi networks set up one for work (secured) and one for guests (unsecured), just got an ipad for my grandson and I'm trying to activate it using the guest network and the ipad will not connect to apple for activation. Do you think the servers at Apple recognize that the new ipad is utilizing and unsecured network and will not connect because of this situation?

Oh, duh...my bad. It says that photostream syncs when it gets back to your wifi. So it does not use 3G to upload new pictures. Thx for the direction to the answer?

The answer to both is no.
Apple products do not natively support the flash program. ANd iPads do not have the LED light for a flash.

Go into your browser preferences and make sure the boxes for ' Use SSL 3.0' and 'Use TLS 1.0' are checked. The settings will be in preferences > advanced > encryption.
You could also try using another browser.

I updated ios6 this morning nad when it prompts me to put in my apple user id and password, I get this message...
"an SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made". I'm in a hotel so is there a problem with the server connection? My laptop is working but I went throught the secure hotel internet. My phone was working fine in the room before the update. HELP! I'm far from home and need my phone.
