Does iPad support yahoo toolbar? I had it yesterday but I can't access it today.

Nope. iOS Safari is not compatiblke with any of the commerically available Browser toolbars.
If you had it it was probably on your Computer, and not the iPad.  As there is no actual way to install it on the iPad.
What do you want to use the toolbar for?

    - Apple TV 3. Via AirPlay, even 1080p protected movies can be played back at their original quality - as opposed to the very low quality of the composite / component connections. (Closed captions, if any, aren't shown on the Apple TV over AirPlay, though.)
    - as the ATV3 already uses HDMI (so you MUST have a monitor with HDMI input), you can also purchase the HDMI adapter (referred to as "Apple AV Adapter" by Apple) as it allows for HD playback of protected media (see the section "HDCP requirements" at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4108 ). It'll, however, will be a wired connection as opposed to AirPlay - but, at least, CC's will also be shown - and a lot more.

  • Does Java support Arabic?

    Hi,
I am in the process of establishing a financial web application. The application needs to be bilingual, i.e English and Arabic. My Question is: Does Java support Arabic? and which DB can i use with it to facilitate my need?
    Thanks,
    Maha

I18N web application is an application that can deliver the content according to the locale of the browser. We can build these applications easily by using the tags available as part of JSTL's.
Check whether Arabic language is supported by java or not.
    request.getLocale() returns java.util.locale object.
This object contains the details of language code & country code.

  • WE8MSWIN1252 Does it supports Arabic?

    Hi All,
One of the strange facts which we saw recently was a 8i database running with WE8MSWIN1252 supporting Arabic characters successfully. Users were happy with the data representation in Forms 6i too. Though we have 100's of threads which says AR8ISO.. or AR8MSWIN... are the character sets which supports Arabic apart from UTF8. We were surprised to see how WE8MSWIN1252 was supporting Arabic characters. We came across a thread which said that it might be possible to have Arabic data stored with WE8MSWIN1252. Please refer to the following Link.
DB Migration from WE8MSWIN1252  TO AR8MSWIN1256  is it possible ???
Real Problem occured when we were asked to upgrade the DB to 10g. The problem started when we exported the dump from 8i and imported the same dump in a 10g i.e 10.2.0.1.0. database with same character set i.e WE8MSWIN1252. In 10g all arabic characters were showing as junk or inverted question mark when queried from db or while querying from forms application.
So we are planning to do the steps.
    @ LIVE DB
    1) Take a export of the existing dump from production 8i - 8.1.7.0
    @ Test DB
    1) Change the character set of DB to AR8MSWIN1256.
    2) Import the Dump in Test DB
    3) Check the data in back end and front end for its correctness.
    4) If that works fine import that dump into 10g database with AR8MSWIN1256 character set
Will this work or if not please advice us for a right solution.
    Thanks in advance.

As suggested by S. Wolicki in the mentioned thread I think you should first fix data in your current database in the current Oracle version and work with Oracle Support if needed to solve this case before doing any upgrade or export/import:
    >
Now, to the solution. First, the database must be verified to contain data only in one charater set. That is, either all applications understand all data as WE8MSWIN1252 or all applications understand all data as AR8MSWIN12526. If some columns (or rows) contain data visible in applications as one character set and some other columns (or rows) contain data visible as another character set, such database cannot be easily migrated. Data must first be spooled to text files, separated as required and loaded back to a new database, usually in AL32UTF8 to cover all required languages/scripts. Both the verification and such special migrations are manual tasks.
Assuming the data in the database is consistent in respect to how it is visible to applications, the solution is to update the database character set declaration to the real one corresponding to the data. This should happen without actually touching any character codes. You need to contact Oracle Support to provide you with the correct procedure that uses an undocumented statement. (I guess you will find this statement in Google, but then you use it at your own risk!) Oracle Support should verify that the procedure will not corrupt your data.

  • Does ipad support .mkv format video?

I am thinking to buy a ipad, and I have a large collection of .mkv format videos. So, can I watch those video on ipad, or do i need to convert them to other format before I can download to the ipad? Thanks a lot in advance!

The iPad does not support the .mkv format. You will need to convert those video to a format that the iPad can play.
H.264 video up to 720p, 30 frames per second, Main Profile level 3.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; Motion JPEG (M-JPEG) up to 35 Mbps, 1280 by 720 pixels, 30 frames per second, audio in ulaw, PCM stereo audio in .avi file format

  • Does ipad support all PDF formats?

There are 6 editions and roughly 11 different flavors of PDF formats that respective IPAD readers could potentially be using and I just wanted to make sure that IPAD is already supporting them all.  Does anyone know what flavor of PDF
    iAnnotate
    GoodReader
    is using?

I'm fairly confident that the iPad doesn't support them all. It supports the most common variants, certainly. Adobe is pretty much always in the process of constructing a new variant of PDF to keep the open-source crowd at bay.
It isn't quite accurate to talk of "iPad" PDF support either. The iPad supports only what iPad apps support. If they wanted to, Adobe could write their own iPad app that supported all PDF variants. The iPad may even have better PDF support than MacOS X. There is a GeoPDF app for the iPad, but not for MacOS X.
May I ask why you ask?
