Does iPad2 support os 6.0.1 or 6.1?

I downloaded os 6.0.1 but never installed it. Now I can't get 6.1. When I try to install 6.0.1 it can't verify the download and says I'm not connected to the internet. But I am. I think because Apple has put out 6.1 it probably doesn't have 6.0.1 listed anymore. So I'm stuck in between.

I had no trouble updating my iPad 2 from 6.0.1 to 6.1. I used iTunes on my computer to download and install the update.
If you are trying to update yours from iTunes, try doing it on the iPad at Settings-General-Software Update. If you are trying to update on the iPad, try using iTunes.

I would like to buy some Sennheiser headphones that support apt-X, but nowhere can I find whether the iPad2 supports it without the need for a dongle, despite hours of searching on forums and on Apple's sites. How Many MS Exchange ActivSync accounts does iPad2 support?

Can I sync to two Exchange servers using native iPad2 functionality? If not, any suggestions? The Exchange Servers each meet the requirements for iPad2.

Based on what I have read and experienced, you will get a message when trying to setup the 2nd account indicating you can only have one (1) active sync Exchange account per device. I have one on my iphone and one on my ipad and that seems to be all each device will do, even with 5.0.1 installed.
Other options for a full two-way sync? Let's hope that other users of this forum have tenable solutions as I look forward to finding a better way myself.

Does iPad2 support coverflow in the iPod app?

I have an iPad2 with the recent update for iTunes but even before that I noticed that in vertical or landscape position my album cover art is limited to thumbnail views and will not expand to coverflow. It allows for a full view of a particular album that has been selected but when trying to swipe the cover to the next, it merely resets to the thumbnail view. Is this a form issue within iPod as it appears to be an iTunes styled page.

You can't use cover flow on the ipad... I'm so upset about so I send a feedback to apple http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html and I hope they will integrate maybe on the next release of iOS 5.1
What you can do is just see the album in full screen by tapping the album in the top near the time of the song that you're listening to and see it in full screen. to change to another song you simply swipe the album to the left and a new song will be play.

Epub boooks are supported. There are a number of different ebook apps, and generally books are locked (due to digital rights management systems) to the app/retailer that they were bought from e.g. iBooks (Apple), Kindle (Amazon), Barns & Noble, Nook - so won't be able, for example, buy a book from Amazon and read it it iBooks, you'll have to use the Kindle app.
Flash is not supported on any iOS device (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch). Some apps claim to (e.g. Skyfire) but judging from the reviews the results are varied. More info on why it's not supported here http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/

These are not support file formats within Photoshop Touch. You could convert to .jpeg or .psd through Photoshop or Corel.

i had a similar problem and found that i could 'drag and drop' the .mov files from iphoto on my mac straight onto the ipad2 in itunes. these could then be viewed in the videos app on the ipad but i cant edit them in imovie!!!
if you are using a pc maybe you can drag and drop them in a similar fashion. they DO work on the ipad2 in the video app.

No Flash for iPads, iPhones, or iPods
Here's why there's is no Flash available for iDevices or other mobile devices. Adobe was unable to provide a product that was suitable to the needs of battery powered mobile devices used for Internet browsing. Existing Flash technology used too much memory, ate battery life, and was buggy. Simply put Flash did not work well on mobile devices.
Apple's Steve Jobs led the escape from Flash dependency when Apple introduced the iPhone, and later introduced the iPad. There was a hue and cry over the omission. Time proved Jobs was right on target.
So this is why there is no Flash for your iPhone or iPad or iPod nor for most SmartPhones. Flash has been abandoned by many sites in favor of supported technologies such as HTML5 or by providing their own custom app.

DOES APPLE SUPPORT FLASH OR IS THERE A WORKAROUND?

Hi, we are new to the Apple products having just purchased in the last month an IPHONE4 and an IPAD2 3G.
We had occasion today to post up a message on a funeral home's website and found we were unable to access to do this because Apple does not support FLASH.
Is there an app in the works or presently out there that will enable the Apple products to do this?
(We've updated both devices to the latest applicatioin updates and ICLOUD)

We have a lifetime of experience in the work world in the Windows environment and since retirement decided to migrate to the "best in class" Apple products. We DO like the quickness and intuitiveness of Apple's approach to doing things but frankly think we should be able, using these new Apple devices, to access legitimate websites.
Respectfuly, you are talking about Windows computers environment and comparing them to a phone and a tablet.
Not a fair comparison at all.
There are phones and tablets that run Flash, but speaking of hot button topic, read some of those stories.
I do want to give a +1 vote to melvins suggestion. iSwifter, though not polished to an Apple standard, does work very well on Flash content web sites. I don't play Flash games, but I rarely have any problem with it when visiting Flash intensive sites.

Yes. There is a recently released iPad version of Skype available at the iTunes store. Also, the iPhone version works on the iPad.

Does the later 2009 MacBook support the Apple DVI to Video Adapter (s-video). I want to connect it to an old tv which does not support HDMI. Any suggestions?

The Late 2009 model 6,1 has a Mini DisplayPort not the Mini-DVI. To see which model you have go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info. When the System Profiler comes up check the Model Identifier.

IE11/Win 8.1 error 'Your client does not support opening this list in windows explorer'

I hoping someone might be able to help with this frustrating issue.
I work on a project where we are using various versions of on-line SharePoint (2007/O365). In order to quickly drag and drop folders we need to often open the document libraries by using the 'open in windows explorer view'.
Using the same device, on occassion this works. But often it gives a rather unhelpful message 'Your client does not support opening this list in Windows Explorer'.
I've searched for this issue over the net and confirm that the sites are added to the 'trusted' sites area and that the 'remember you credientials' is checked on logging in.However, the searches do not seem to apply to IE11/Win8.1 or on-line version of sharepoint
(the suggested hot fix is not suitable)
Only this morning, using the same device I was able, for a short while to open in explorer view, and then for no apparent reason, it began to display the error message. I had changed nothing regarding settings or even closed the browser.
Do you have any support/ideas/fixes on how to resolve this.

follow the directions given above.... you need to add the domains to your Intranet sites list, not the Trusted sites list.
Perhaps you already have it mapped to your intranet zone....in which case make sure that you have unchecked "Enable Enhance Protected Mode" on the Intranet zone dialog in Internet Options.
If this is happening 'randomly' on client machines, then users are probably changing their internet security settings in Internet Options. Ensure they are accepting the default.... Internet Options>Security tab, click "Reset all zones to default".
Consult with your system administrators to find out if they are applying a custom security template for the Intranet zone... It may be removing the sharepoint domains from the client Intranet zone's domains lists.

Time Machine is capable of backing up to multiple locations, and can be used to back up to both a local hard drive and a networked drive (provided that that drive is in or connected to a Time Capsule or another Mac that is sharing it over the network). The catch, though, is that you can't specify different things to back up to different destinations. Whatever you exclude from Time Machine backups is excluded from ALL backups, and whatever is included is included on all.
So, get a large enough drive that you can back up everything you want in all locations, or use something else for maintaining the network backup.

AS I FOUND OUT LATE, LION DOES NOT SUPPORT ROSETTA, WHICH SUPPORTS QUICKEN AND CLASSIC AOL, AND MANY OTHER APPS. CAN I TAKE LION AWAY AND GO BACK TO SNOW LEOPARD?

I found out after the install of LION, that it does not support Rosetta, which runs Quicken and the classic AOL software and a myriad of other apps.
Can I go back to Snow Leopard? Is there a way to retrieve my thousands of saved E mails, which are saved on my Mac?
I still see the filing cabinet with my screen name but cannot get them to open.
Please help! Lion may roar, but the fact it does not support apps like quicken means it purrs.

I had the Apple store wiped out my hard drive and I restore my last hard drive downloard by first placing Snow leopard DVD in the DVD drive and holding "C" when turning on the machine then I follow the instructions. I am back on snow leopard and trying out two finance software to replace Quicken for mac 2007. I am trialing Quicken essentials and ibank. They are both compatable with LION. So when I am ready will download Lion again. Also, Micorsoft Office needs to be 2011 version for it to work on Lion

It doesn't match yours exactly. There is an iframe with a Google map in it in the "Hosting Analysis" section, which in your pasted page seems to be the "Site Server" section.
