Two phones ordered, only one shipped. The iPhone 6 has shipped with tracking number and charge to my card. iPhone 6 Plus has no information available, no one at CS can tell me if this is normal, if it is delayed, any info appreciated.

I placed an upgrade order for two phones, an iPhone 6 and 6plus.
I was in the Verizon shopping cart at 11:55 and checked out by 12:01 AM pacific time.
I do have my email confirmation for both phones with ship date 9/19
The iPhone 6 has shipped with tracking number and the charge to my card came through for the price of this phone.
There is no other information available - nothing on the status of the 6 Plus. Customer service doesn't know if this is normal or if my order went through, its really bad.
Any further information would be much appreciated.

I was just told by a Verizon sales rep that, when her team got in, when she checked the system at 3:03 (midnight+ 3 minutes) all 6Plus had a back order date of October, and now its going into November even though the pre-order system was showing 9/19 - that all verizon iphone 6 plus had an instant sell out.
She had no additional information on my iPhone 6 plus, not even if there was a chance for it to ship out, when the back order date would be - no further information.
(A different rep I talked to said all iphone 6 plus pre orders had a ship date of October, all of them - I asked what Verizon is going to do when they advertised iphone 6 plus for 9/19 delivery and your telling me they never had any available - at this point he transferred me... *****)

I ordered and received an iPad2 less than 7 days ago from Apple online store. Why was it not shipped with iOS5?

I am extremely surprised that on ordering an iPad2 last Thursday from the online store, and receiving it Friday (excellent delivery service nonetheless) I now find it is not iOS5 (after trying to buy, download and install Numbers). I have not yet upgraded to iOS5 on my iPods and iPhones due to issues experienced by friends so am reluctant to upgrade a brand new iPad after installing apps and content over the weekend.
I am assuming I should have been shipped an iOS5 version?

6 weeks is far from "ages".
The iPad you received was eithe Ron the pipeline getting shipped or simply sitting on a shelf when iOS 5 was released to the manufacturing plant before it could have iOS 5 installed.

If so, why not simply install it?
There's no benefit to you or the factory doing it.

IPhone 3gs runs slow with iOS5

I've an iPhone 3GS and even with iOS4 it started to get slower but when I upgraded it to iOS5 it became even much slower.
I tried to Restore using iTunes but it didn't restored to factory defaults, with the original iOS version. I saw in Apple's site and they only have until iOS4.2.
Is there a way to do so?

When you restore to original settings, it doesn't reload your old IOS - just the original settings.
I'm afraid that IOS5 is going to be slow on a 3GS, but you can do things to help, such as keeping the number of apps open to a minimum; turn off location services for apps that don't really need them and to reduce the number of apps doing a fetch or at least reduce how often they fetch new data.

For that matter, it doesn't support bluetooth sharing with Apple devices either... except app to app connections that are specifically coded to communicate directly.

iPhones come with plastic over the screens. However, it's packaging material, not a screen protector. I don't recall if it's still the case, but for previous models the plastic didn't have cut outs for the microphone and speakers, occasionally causing people to think there was something wrong with their phone because the couldn't hear anyone.

Sorry, no. As an aside, there was no 3rd generation 8gB model of the iPod touch, you most likely have a 2nd generation unit.

Iphone 4s and iphone 4 no service with ios5 suggestions please

first let me tell you my setup, i have both an iphone 4 and 4s in house, where i live i get bad service and was lucky enough to get a micro cell from at&t. i have 6mb dsl line. for over a year and a half i have had no issues with using phones in my home. both iphones and androids. after i upgraded to a 4s on launch day and upgraded my wifes 4 to ios5 we have both had issues of no service or searching and phones not working. i first blamed it on my micro cell but its kind of hard to when one phone shows 5 bars service and the other shows no service. so i thought it was not being handled right in the micro cell. at&t reset the micro cell on their end and i had reset it on my end. did all the network resets in the phones. still have the issue. once in a while both phones will say no service but oddly the 4 does this more than the 4s. im almost to the point of thinking it is a device issue but being that we are over an hour away from apple and there is no at&t corporate store here that can help i dont know what to do. she is a nurse in the ER and needs her phone to work incase they call her in.

Im in the UK and get the same problem. We have 2 Iphone 4's and 1 4s in our house and the 4s spends most of it's time diverting to the answer machine. O2 have replaced the phone and i have the IOS update but its still the same. Thinking of a refund now.

I think you're still not quite clear. The current iPhones have a lightning connector (the place where the cable plugs in). No computer has such a thing. The cable that comes with a current iPhone plugs into the lightning connector in the iPhone and then into the USB port on a computer. It is the same cable that has come with every iPhone since the iPhone 5.

Does iphone's warranty come with the device or the purchaser?

I am trying to a used iphone5. The seller told me its power button isn't working functionally. But it's under warranty. So if I go to the apple store, they can fix it or change with a refurb. Since I am not the original owner of the iphone, can I get the phone fixed? What should I bring if I go to apple store? Receipt? or just they check the serial number and it's all good? Also, will it be covered if the power button is not working?

If the new iPhone 4s is able to pack a dual core A5 processor into the phone, shouldn't the iPod be able to? I wanna buy a new iPod cause mine crashes a lot but I'm not sure I want another one with just a single core processor...Did Apple announce anything at the keynote about this or something?
