Does Iphone auto detect language ?

Hi guys !
would like to know if in the iPhone keyboard settings we can setup a sort of " language auto-detect"
if we sending a sms or email in English is fine for the checkspelling to suggest the righ spelling in English because my keyboard language is already in English but what if I start typing in French or Spanish for sms or emails do I have to change the keyboard to that specific language in order to be able to use that language check spelling ?
Or is there a way for the iPhone to just auto-detect the language "Spanish, French..." and suggest the right spelling whithout having to go in the keyboard settings manually everytime ?
Or do we have to use a third-party app from the appstore that would provide that option ?

Yes. You use the globe key to quickly switch keyboards. Apps are not allowed to mess with such things.

when you'll fix that annoying issue? or is there something I'm missing?
Wanted to update my FP and not for the first time, while updater is detecting the correct settings (in my case: Win7, English, 64-bit), it tries to install language version from the region i'm currently in (right now, in my case, its Dutch). Don't have to tell you how annoying is that! I mean, why detecting your settings, if anyway you'll make me install something completely different! So lets say next time I'm in China while new FP comes out, and then what?
And the best part is, I'll have to go through multiple pages of, lets be honest, a totally bullcrap help, to finally find somewhere at the very bottom a link to "download the installer directly from the following sites". That link, surprise surprise, lets me download and install the FP... yes, you guess correctly, in english.
Get your **** together, guys, it really is high time to do just that.

I have the same exact problem. It seems after I downloaded Google Chrome and then unistalled it and reinstalled IE8, with any updates, that Flash will not work. I have been trying to get it to work for over a week! I turned off add-ons as a site suggested, but it still does not work. When I click download Flash, it states that it has installed successfully, but it is nowhere to be found on my computer. I searched for it using the Start Search, and it is not there. I really NEED Flash, please help! I am on Vista! HP Pavillion Notebook! Thanks!

IPhone auto-detect for Box SimpleShare on MBP.

Hi,
I loved the feature of Dropbox in which all my iPhone's photos and videos get transferred to dropbox folder on my MBP and then got auto-uploaded. Due to memory constraint, i moved to box.com's SimpleShare. Now, i'm wondering whether there is some similar functionality availble on it too.
I'd appreciate any suggestions for that. Also let me know if more information is needed.

Just a +1 to ay I'd like to know how to make the auto-login work to. I'm running a free wifi community in my town and this feature would make every iOS user happy.

How does the auto-detection of email settings work?

I manage an exchange server for work which I have setup IMAP access for external email clients. Blackberry users can connect if they manually enter the settings, but it will not detect the settings automatically which means anytime someone gets a blackberry they bring it to me to setup.
Is there something I can do on this end to ensure that BIS can detect the settings for our server?

Description            IMAP Requirements for BIS
command support            -SEARCH, SELECT, INBOX
connections                 -must be accepted on port 143 or 993
destination servers        -must return the logon prompt within 15 seconds of connecting
external mail account      -password protected

At this point, for months I have been contacting app developers and Apple requesting the ability to clear an app's cache. I have only 1 app that I use that supports this feature - WallpapersHD.
All apps should support cache clearing. Especially apps that bloat like: Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Instant Video, TUAW, iMore, Twitter, TWC Max, Weather [Yahoo], Trailers [Apple], Bible [YouVersion]... Practically any and every app I have ever used that communicates with a remote server out there in the world somewhere.
iOS needs a cache clearing option to assist in managing space because deleting and re-installing apps is a terrible way to get that space back.

After installing win 8.1 and the latest itunes version iTunes does no longer detect my iPhone.

User Interface - auto detect does not work

I have added the jQuery Mobile User Interface with Theme 50 to an old APEX 4.1 Application.
When adding the new User Interface i checked the "auto detect" feature in the old User Interface.
"Auto detect"- Help says:
Select whether the appropriate user interface should be automatically detected. If auto-detection is enabled, the user will be redirected to the corresponding login page or home page.
When calling the Application (only with the application-id) from my nexus 4 smartphone the application does not switch to the mobile Login page.
Do i have to change any old settings or themes?

You can run Incremental Sync from user profile 3-4 times. This will delete the user profile from SharePoint UPA.
Now, we need to run UPA clean job timer job available in Job Definition inside central administration.
This is a by design issue which you have raised. But, to get it done on the same day you need to follow above mentioned steps. This would be done in some hour and cannot be achieved in 4-5 minutes. So, your original request is a by design issue and can be

Auto-Detect Screen Resolution Does Not Work Across Multiple Monitors With Different Resolutions

The Acrobat Pro DC (15.007.20033.2203) auto-detect screen resolution feature does not work with multiple monitors at different resolutions. Acrobat looks fine on my hidpi primary laptop display (Razr 14" 2014) but is completely unusable if I drag or extend the application to a standard HD resolution secondary monitor. Dragging Acrobat from my primary desktop display to the secondary display causes the UI elements to become 2x as large as they should be and makes Acrobat unusable.
Is there a way to make Acrobat auto-detect the display that it is currently on?

To prevent it from happing again, you can
1. go to the Mouse preference and turn off the scroll zoom feature.
2. go to the Universal Access preference and disable the zoom features.

But it gets detected in iTunes.

When I connect my iPhone 4S to my computer, iTunes does not detect it. iPhone pops the message of USB connectivity and defaults to Mass Storage. Windows shows the message that "Device is ready to use" and I can read both drives of the iPhone in Windows Explorer. However iTunes does not detect the device and the "Devices" tab does not appear. I have tried Restarting the phone. Restarting the computer. Connecting the phone to a different computer. (I'm on version 4.3.3 (8J2), firmware 01.59.00 and iTunes 10.5.3.3).

Try a hard reset on your iPhone, press the power/sleep & home button at the same time until the apple logo appears (ignore the slide to turn off prompt). Once the apple logo appears release the buttons and wait for your iPhone to boot back up then try connecting. Also try a different USB cable if you have one available.

Not at initial release. Siri will initially be released only in English (localized for US, UK and Australia), French and German. I would imagine Apple will be working on other languages, but there's no way to know when they might add Korean.

Google's Auto-Detection Location

Is there any way to remove Google's Auto-Detection Location service in Safari?
It drives me nuts. I live in Holland, but I want my searches to be world bassed, or even US based, but not Holland based. I can change the language, but it still insists that, because my IP is in Holland that I prefer Dutch related search items. How can I stop Google doing this and still use Google search?

I haven't found a way to disable auto-location. However, Google provides searches on regional domains, so if (for example) I want to run a search specific to the US, I go to http://www.google.us. If I want to run a search specific to the United Kingdom, I go to http://www.google.co.uk.

Auto-Detect Form Fields from Word 2007

LiveCycle 8.x fails to detect form fields from form documents I've created in Word 2007. I also notice that Word 2007 documents saved as Word 2003 documents do not convert the text fields either (text fields static).
Is LiveCycle 8.x compatible with Office 2007 or does it depend on the conversion from 2007 (.docx format) to 2003 (.doc format) before creating the PDF then detecting and placing the fields?

I could tell it not to run in Acrobat 9 but can’t figure out how to do that in version 11. When I use the Create Form command, I get a series of windows that guide me through the process of creating the form. Unlike Acrobat 9, none of those windows includes an option for not running auto detect. At the end of the process, the form is created with fields. The only solution seems to be to let Acrobat create the fields, and then delete them all and manually create the fields I want. Thanks for your feedback.
