May I know does iphone support Quick time? Apparently I visited an website with Quick Time player and I am unable to view it.
May I know is there any setting need to be done?

Mavericks Server; smbd: File system does not support 0x0, time/size attrs

So I recently installed a Mac Mini with Mavericks and Server 3.2.2 in the main office of my company and everything has been going well, minus a few expected bugs, until recently. Starting last week we've been experiencing random intervals where File Sharing stopped working altogether, and I'd been able to reboot and get it running again. Unfortunately, as I'm the Systems and Server Admin, I've been too busy to look at the logs until now (following the degradation of one of the drives in our DAT-Optic RAID system, I figured it was time to make it a priority), and I'm seeing dozens of entries in the system logs regarding the process smbd with file system does not support errors.
Here's an example.

As far as I can tell, nothing else has changed in our system except for the fact that one of the drives died and was rebuilt as of yesterday (these smbd problems extend to last week shortly after I updated to 3.2.2 I believe). Any help would be much appreciated. I would normally first attempt a repair permissions to see if the issue is related to a bad plist somewhere but the last time we did that, our ACLs were duplicated across our file share and often incorrectly. I'm not sure if it's just me but the last Mac Server software I used was Snow Leopard Server (when it was still a full OS version) and it was infinitely more stable than what I've experienced thus far with Server 3. Anyway, I appreciate any help/advice that can be given and I apologize for the rant.

I think that the problem is in the "bysetpos" param of the recurrence rule. Does iPhone support bysetpos param? Is it a limitation of iPhone?

I solve my doubt. The problem resides in the "until" param. It seems that iPhone/iPad can't interpret correctly an until param greater than 2069. I admint that this problem is very particular, this case is not common.

So if you want a ringbacktone use your screen name and password then you go to media or something and buy a ringbacktone. If another line wants ringbacktones you have to sign into there name to add the fee $1 per month and then purchase songs online too. You can't share the tones so if you each like the same tones you have to buy for each.

I bought a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee using Uconnect and it won't read my text message out loud.

iPhone does support the bluetooth MAP profile as long as it is iPhone 4 and later. Refer to article below for further supported profiles.

The article also states that certain profiles have different responses to different devices and that is determined on both sides (the Jeep software and the iPhone). Depending on the software that Jeep is running it may have limited usability with the iPhone. Best thing to do is first, update the iPhone and see if that helps. If that does not work, remove the Jeep as a device from the Bluetooth Menu in the iPhone and re-add it. Third, get in contact with Jeep or uConnect to see if the iPhone is supported with the MAP profile. If it is, see if they can assist in getting it working correctly. A lot of car dealers will also help in getting it working.

The question was whether iPhones supports IPv6 protocol. Why would it matter if the network supports IPv4, IPv6, Dual stack or any other protocol? The straight answer is NO it does not as of today (even if the users have to worry about it or not, which is irrelavent imho).

The answer is likely no, but it was worth asking. I have a secure website I use which requires that I have my Verisign Class 1 ID (certificate) installed on the host machine. Does the iPhone support the installation of any Verisign certificates? Note that the certificate is not requires for email signature, simply as a way to very user login to a secure site.

If it's just using SSL it should work fine... but if you have to install a certificate on the device before hand I think you're SOL. I'd swing in to an Apple store and give it a shot.

No, it doesn't.
For "alternative", it depends what you want to be able to do with NFC? The Bump app uses location matching to identify when two phones are very close. The Square app and dongle can process credit cards. And some apps use Bluetooth to communicate with a nearby device.

I don't have an iPhone yet, but I am curious if the iPhone supports the music folders which you can create in iTunes? So far, no iPod will support folders when synced. I have many playlists inside folders in iTunes ... and those folders all disappear when I sync my music to my iPod ... leaving a slew of playlists with none of the organization that I have when I'm on my computer. I was hoping the iPhone would finally resolve this issue.

I have the 8gb version of the iPhone and I have yet to be able to set folders. If you set up your music as playlists that seems to be most control you can have at the moment.
