Maybe the music pros will pop in soon (late night GarageBand sessions and all). From what I've read, most of the musical types around here use some sort of Firewire devices for audio in/out so you'd at the least need a Thunderbolt>Firewire adapter.
You might want to take your question to the GarageBand forum - https://discussions.apple.com/community/ilife/garageband - while a number of you musical types use MBPs, I would bet that you'd get more answers to your query in that forum.

For double NAT the reset didn't work at first and I had to unplug all the connections but eventually got it back. I also checked "Enable detection of router-behind-router conditions" in the RG. Not sure if that did anything but I'm not seeing any AE warnings anymore.

Does anyone use Optical Audio out to connect studio monitors?

I am planning to snatch a Mac Mini as my studio upgrade. I am also planning on buying some studio monitors (as opposed to just regular speakers). I was wondering what people use to get great, accurate results for under $600. The Mini can achieve optical audio out, apparently. Are there studio monitors that use digital, optical audio as a means to connect? How do fellow Logic home studio users have their audio out set up?

From your description, my understanding is that you wonder if there is a button in SharePoint site UI
to let your users reject mails.
As you know SharePoint send/receive mails via SMTP server, thus SharePoint cannot prevent users from receiving mails directly. You should set some settings in SMTP server to accomplish your requirement.
If you use outlook, you could create rule in it by referring to this article:

Trying to have 2 audio outs

My friend has the 13" MBP and said that in the audio options he can choose to route his headphone jack as either input or output. I'd really like a second audio out port, and I feel like there should be some simple way of routing the "input" port as "output" instead so that I could use it as a monitor in programs like Traktor without having to buy a USB sound card.

Export h264 does not have Panned Audio/Share Youtube h264 does..why?

I export share h264 and the audio is stereo and not center panned...even though it is panned on the project with dual mono and center VU meters runs up and down..when i use the share send to youtube and grab the h264 made for this...that has panned audio.
Is it the dual mono?...when i have both ch.s selected in the inspector that seem to "phase" each other out.
any ideas on doing waht was simple in fcp 7..pan all audio center....the keyboard short cut WAS control + .

the share options in FCPX are actually just canned presets that have little or no flexibility in modifying parameters. What's happening is that while your audio channels might be dual mono with center panning, the preset exports (remixes) it as stereo. I'm assuming it equally spreads the audio across both channels, and adjusts the levels appropriately.
Are you looking to export the audio as a single mono channel? I think you will need to use Compressor to set up your own preset that you can then publish to FCPX. Either that, or export (share) the project as quicktime file, and then use a different piece of software to encode to what you want (e.g., Quicktime Pro or MPEG Streamclip).

Exported quicktime files have video & audio out of sync

I am using FCP with a Sony HVR-Z1E. All seems ok in my edit etc but if I try to export my edit to a quicktime file using the quicktime conversion option the audio and video are out of sync on quicktime. If I export using quick time movie option, all is fine as this file is played back by FCP. I have tried different settings but I cant get the audio to be in sync with the video. My settings are HDV 1080i50 on my 15" Macbook Pro

You can open your "quicktime movie" (not qt conversion) in quicktime player. Simply control click on the file in the finder and choose open with... Try that and let us know if the file is in synch.

Touch with os 1.1.5 does not have video setting out

New ipod touch 32gb and have bought video eyewear for it. The touch is supposed to have video settings - to allow selction of "TV out" - cant find it so maybe os 1.1.5 doesnt have it. Does anyone know anything about this.?

Trying these things would narrow it down:
try the other video port.
What video card do you have?
Try another display on that same port/different port.
You are sure the video card is 100% in tip top shape?
Try the card in a different machine if available.
Other than that... I don't know if you can test remotely for the video card... perhaps, try using a utility that WILL test the video card WHILE the computer is running... therefore testing it remotely should still test the card that's in it....? I think that TechTool Pro 4 ran a couple vid tests... maybe 5 does too? There might be other soft's out there that can. Check macupdate.com.

Have you signed in ? You can't sign out until you've signed in, and you can then sign-out by tapping on your account id (which will appear instead of Sign In once you've signed in) and selecting 'sign out' on the pop-up that appears. You can only be signed in with one account at a time.

I have FF Mobile loaded on my Transformer Prime with ICS. I have read through all the tutorials about installing addons but my FF does not have a slide out menu on the right side. So I cannot click on the gear button to open the settings.

I believe this started after the update from 3/13. I remember setting the user agent at some point when i first loaded it. Now I am unable to get to that option.

Update: I have also loaded FF Beta and Aurora and I have the same problem. No way to open the settings menu.
